Using organic sugar is a waste of money. Store bought sugar works fine and a can of flossine add aproximately 1 table spoon of flossine per 10 lbs of sugar .

Hello! Love your videos, they are so helpful! I cannot seem to get the cotton candy to “stick” to o the netting on the sides so I can bulk make cotton candy for bags/containers. Is there a technique you use to get the cotton candy to stick to the mesh and not fly everywhere? Thank you!!

The collar under the floss head on my Vortex cotton candy machine is one piece, not the two-piece collar yours has. It makes zero sense why that is. 🙁 Any idea how I can remove the floss head without being able to take the collar off first?

Hi Dana, what can I do with leftover candy cotton? Like the stuff you scrape out of the bowl every hour or the readymade cones that got sticky over time? Can you recycle it and spin new cotton candy out of it? Or do you have other ideas/recipes? I appreciate every hint as we accumulated a lot of that stuff. Thank you!

My youngest bought me a Nostalgia machine 2 Christmases ago (he knows i LOOOVE cotton candy) and i haven't taken it out of the box cuz i know once i do i will blow up like a balloon cuz i won't stop eating it...seriously i could eat it for breakfast lunch and dinner🤤!! Do you use stanchions or anything else to help guide/control the crowd, especially at schools? I'm a music teacher preparing for retirement and considering spinning cotton candy as my next career. I know how excited my kids would be if there was a cotton candy machine at school and they have NO concept of personal space🤣

Multiple flavor technique question: Do you just pour in another flavor and go or, do you rinse, reheat, and go with another flavor ( thinking at that point to bowl in wet reside from the rinse of the previous cycle.? And how long to re-heat after the rinse with this machine.

When you are at an event that lasts 3 hours you use your machine for 45 minutes you said it when a break do you have to clean it? Just turn it off ? For how long? What do you need to do for breaks? Then you can just heat it back up and run again for 45 minutes?

I am curious… My machine says to never remove the head to clean it that way. Is it safe to clean it the way you are doing it? Why do they not want us to remove it ? I have the same machine.
