Love that Duc!
At 3:03 ish, that is a long straight road with a view forever and it's a no passing road? What? Love yer monster vids, bud! Keep em coming.
Great system, says their are downsides, you check tyre pressures on a dirt unless it's a mousse, the only good thing about a mousse is you can't puncture them, takes about 30s to check tyre pressure,2 mins to put air in
What wrap did you use
CEO here, just wanted to add we get cancellations too, though we try a lot harder to prevent them. We also have a messaging system so you can message hosts prior to renting and ensure they are available
Holy he looks so much like Israel Wright from gameology
Great vid. Buy a fork stop for transport to save your forks
Play stupid games🕹️win cool prizes ⚠️
Sorry man. That's a hard lesson to learn. At least you learned a lot from it. What was the final solution? Did you just park it in pieces, sell it as is, or split the cases to clean everything out real good to see if the engine was salvageable?
Hey bro, I live in Valpo, where is this spot at. It would be awesome to go ride with you
The tube in the tubliss system doesn't cost $100. They are closer to $18. The hack for the wear is putting in salad oil to act as a lubricant - although it has never happened to me. I don't seem to have any of the problems you mention, but lots of people still like mousse. Mousse brakes down and slowly changes over time so, nothings perfect.
Can you take the grey long sleeve part out and just wear it over a t shirt or something?
Is this street legal
is the bike reliable?
Give a twist just wait for the water to come out😂
Nice sound. Do you have an exhaust or it is stock? Nice deep rumble.
I have a f800gsa but want to do more offroad. Ive taken the gs onto some offroad but its heavy lol. Thinking of selling it and buying a DR650. 100lbs lighter.
Bro in terms of sizing? Which measure did you get?
Damn dude I feel bad for the bike every time you turn around you keep saying you're dropping it here or dropping it there or drop it bike must be hammered
So since this "pig-beast" has been around for so long it must have a decent after-market parts list available? I see the skid-plate & I'm hearing you on buying used models, of the 3 you chose this one for better prices than the other 2 you compared. I'm on that same train as you, I do believe? I'm looking hard man, I kinda like this one & unlike the 200-300cc dualsports I know I can't grow out of this bike at my age. peace
You answered my parts questions.... thanxx
Got a monster 821 in the burbs here. We should ride in a few months brother
Great video! We go to Silver Lake every summer. I found this video looking into DRZ400s, considering purchasing one. What mods are done to this bike? Basic 3x3, jetting, and a pipe?
Don't know why they do those? The rear fender is to keep dirt, water from the rear tire from ending up on your back.
Hey idiot, I was talking about the stock rear plate mount/rear light setup. Not the fender
Thanks for showing the side angle of the hill. You're right, the cameras straight on never do it justice but the side shot tells the true story.
Mousse is the only option for fast riders in rocky terrain.
This must be your first bike?
Go woke go broke. Boycott Alpinestars, they have chosen to sponsor bubba wallace.
The tubliss lasts way longer than mousse. Idk how you even flatten that inner tube on tubliss. You have to just be extremely reckless to do that. But even so you can buy the small tube by itself in case you have an accident. The mousse is gonna cost you way more money in the long run cause you’ll be switching them out more. The only thing that sucks about tubliss is if you do actually get a flat. Yes I’ve ran it flat but trying to corner or hit rocks on a flat tire still sucks. To fix that I’m going to cut a mousse in half and run it on top of my tubliss.
Thanks. I'm going to try it with my e-bike😆
Troy, what's going on with the DRZ? Do you need some help?
I love the woods ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I agree that you moving on from Tubliss is the right choice for YOU. All your issues are self induced IMO/IME. #1. You man handle the tires when spooning them on and are not paying attention to where your spoons are grabbing. Slow down, take your time, and don't let yourself lose your cool during installation. It also helps if you warm up and lube your tires as well. #2 You're not out $100 if you pinch the inner bladder. Tubliss offers replacement bladders for all sizes of Tubliss and, if you have one local, I know Cycle Gear actually stocks them. #3. Yes, if you run really low pressure and either ride really fast and/or run a soft sidewall tire, the Tubliss liner will rub against the tire and damage it the liner. The cure for this issue is an 8oz bottle of your standard green Slime as it will provide lubrication between the two. Not trying to slag on you but it seems your not willing to do the things necessary to have success with the system. Personally, been using the Tubliss system now for over 11 years and well over 1000+ hours. hell, I'm still rocking a Gen I liner that I bought all those years ago! I have used Goldentyre, Shinko, Bridgestone, Maxxis, Tusk, 220 Ride, Pirelli, Sedona, and IRC tires with no issues on any of them except for the Goldentyre GT333 which I strongly recommend against with Tubliss or tubes if you're going to run less than 10psi. The carcass just doesn't hold up.
Nice I guess the DRZ isn’t too heavy for dunes. Imagine how much better it would do on paddles
What sprocket.?
I hate having to zip my fly everytime I take a piss..... 🤷♂️
Skill issue. Cry more. Lets hear your opinion after you wear out a couple tires with a mousse. Talk about a pain to deal with when changing tires. 😂
This ice cream grip makes counter-steering a lot easier.
I think another use case is bigger guys learning on a smaller 125 as sitting further back naturally promotes a forward lean and without this grip a heavy hand...
I own a 2012 Ducati Monster 796 in red. I love this bike, beautiful and fast.
6 years 3 diferent bikes. And two sets of wheels. So 4 tubliss systemu in 6 years. Poched tube twice in my life. Not trying to glorify Tubliss. Just saying it's most probobly your foult :(.
You have no mirrors on your bike. Is that street legal in the US?
Not really legal but the cops don’t really care
any other flat trails there?
I agree. I found the only tires that worked with tubliss are the Shinkos. Has to be a thick walled tire or it’s prone to punctures & leaks.
Im in northern Wi / UP MI and thats what i ride. Jump on some dirt roads, and then hit the over grown logging roads. Some dead end, some intersect to other dirt roads. But Im all by myself, no SxS or ATV assholes in sight.
Nice video! What tires were you using ?
Is that Chitown HD? 🤔 🧐
What tires are you running?
319lbs is the wet weight full of fuel. It’s 291lbs is the dry weight. Cheers!
Fell of an escooter and got quite a bit of road rash. didnt want to wear my moto jacket b/c its too hot but this looks good, maybe under a shirt too. Thanks!
This thing would be great for that but I think you’d like a mesh riding jacket better, they keep you cooler and are more comfortable
Great video would be nice if the next one was longer would like to see more
