Hey guys! Here's my vid on the experience of riding on some real dunes for the first time. I visited the silver lake dunes in Michigan and had a blast.
Looking into some paddle tires? Looks like a awesome place ive only ever been on dunes in a raptor 700 atv which was a blast. Seems like a ton of fun on 2 wheels!
Great video! We go to Silver Lake every summer. I found this video looking into DRZ400s, considering purchasing one. What mods are done to this bike? Basic 3x3, jetting, and a pipe?
Man you don't know how well you're off, such an AWESOME place to ride!? I wish I had something half that over here where I live. But I mustn't complain, I have *something*, and that's worth being grateful for still. .. but, YOUR PLACE IS AWESOME! I want to go there to ride at least for half a day, or at least one full tank.
I’m on a Honda 125f right now we are at a campground and are staying for a week my dad is on a 250l and last year we didn’t have sand tires but this year we do and it makes a world of difference but I still can’t get up most hills
Yes that Jeep beat you because you have one (thin) rear wheel driving you, the Jeep has four fat wheels driving it. Regardless how you tweak your engine you will never beat four wheels with one 😉

Damn dude props for taking a heavy drz out there, I struggled with mine at badlands in the sand, do you like silver lake or badlands better?
Thanks! I’d say overall I like the badlands more but silver lake is such a fun/different experience compared to regular trail riding
