Think of this. In the parable of the ten virgins, half are wise and half are foolish. They are all waiting and watching together, all are invitees. Are the foolish virgins foolish because they were unprepared or were they unprepared because they were foolish? Ask the same of the wise virgins. I found my answer to this, and it helped me understand so much more and refocus on Christ.

Amazing! So glad I saw this when it first popped up! Thought I’d share a few additional thoughts that tie into this. 1) my dad was a temple sealer, and I had the opportunity to go with my wife and him to the temple and do some sealings about a half year before he passed away. He pointed out to me how the word “cleave” has dual meaning. To separate, and to bind. Man shall leave his parents and cleave unto his wife, and they shall become one flesh. But also, a butcher’s knife, an axe, what have you, is used cleave an animal apart. Now consider where you would cleave a sacrifice, and then consider what is in the temple in the middle of the sealing rooms. He also pointed out several differences in wording during the covenant for the bridegroom vs the bride, pay attention next time you do sealings 🙂 2) they shall become one flesh. I never considered how this phrase could be applied to us and Christ. We are to become one with him, even as a bridegroom and a bride become one flesh. In terms of the consummation of marriage, we’re talking about a sacred act that brings life, bears fruit, etc. this makes the allegory of the olive trees and the Lord of the vineyard’s statement (paraphrasing) “what good is this tree if it brings forth no fruit”. IOW - what good is your bond to me, if it doesn’t bring forth your eternal life, to live with me, and be in my presence forever? The purpose of our bonds with Christ is to bring to pass the immortality and Eternal life of man. Love this symbolism! There is so much I feel like I’ve been learning lately that I never understood in the last 30+ years! Thanks for bringing on people who have learned and studied these things, so we can all learn with you! 🙂

The internet is devoid of references to Jack Logan. I love the ancient tradition podcast but have found little more on her.

The 'boat' went past over 2k years ago and the wake of that vessel got smaller and smaller over time. People back then had a feast on the word of Christ, (as we are told to do) now we just get the crumbs, like the difference between the banquet and the sacrament bread. The wake (celebration after death) is almost finished, the ripples are so small now that they will soon cease. There will be no recognition of the saviour once these ripples end.

Haplo Group X is in the mDNA of Kennewick man at ~9,000 years ago. That's not dna modeling or "extrapolation" calculation, but actual dna data and the physics of nuclear decay (c-14). I'm not good at math, but that's just a smidge before the Nephites or even the Jaredites. It was already here. It is logical, based on actual data, that it was always here. Furthermore we can conclude that haplo group X, regardless of when it is estimated to have evolved, it already existed when Kennewick man was here 9kya. There's no way around it.
