My husband and I made friends with a gentleman who was raised Orthodox Jew, then he became a Messianic Jew (believer in Christ) as an adult. We met him when he was wanting to find out more about the LDS church. When he read the Book of Mormon for the first time HE WAS AMAZED !!!!!!!!!!! He said THIS IS TRUE!!!! There is SO MUCH JEWISH HISTORY AND WRITINGS in this book!!!!! Then he went on to explain and point out different examples in the scriptures. MY TESTIMONY HAS BEEN STRENGTHENED BECAUSE OF HIS!!
Now keep this understanding and recognize there were break off's when Joseph Smith died. There will be changes to "the church", because we do not follow all that is in the Book of Mormon. The reason why some of the 15 and 70 have spoken of getting back to reading the BoM is SO VERY important. There are many things the church itself is teaching that we (if we haven't already) need to repent of instead of following blindly.
@@MommaCrissa Ive read MORONI CH 10 V9 and wondered why its there on plates translated to the BOM, when clearly the revelation of the Word of Wisdom was given in the D&C as to reading the BOM, and following blindly please dont make apologetic excuses to the most correct book, an get the egg off your face
@@kingimatthews4481 To tell you my honest opinion, I think you're looking at those words "the word of wisdom" as if it is the only word of wisdom. In D&C 89 the church as a cultural says the words "the word of wisdom" as if it's the only word of wisdom. Of course that's not true. What 89 is saying is that it is one of the words of wisdom to us..a temporal type of word to help us in last days so that we will be saved from the "destroying Angel". Of course if our bodies are in a state of very good health our mental abilities are extremely more able to understand. Using our conscience as an instrument to carry the Holy Ghost and receive is very much needed. If our mind is altered due to the things we put in our bodies how can we understand truth? It's all dependant upon each other. Just as Mathew 12 states many gifts of the Spirit, a word of wisdom is also many kinds of wisdom. Wisdom of understanding the scriptures, wisdom of teaching, wisdom of discernment. God is full of many gifts he is offering his children. Now, because at the time they were spitting tobacco on the floor and it seemed like an awful habit a question was asked to God. He answered Joseph Smith with this tidbit of salvation for our bodies. If we ask we can receive. We can receive according to our faith many good and righteous gifts. This is not just a prophet of God thing. Gifts are offered and it has nothing to do with what church someone belongs to. Since he was the prophet and asked that question, we benefited from having a way to keep our bodies healthier and therefore...great treasures of knowledge, which by way opens the mind to more of his spirit. Btw, there are many health professionals that now say coffee is not good for us. Of course there are others who say it's great. I guess it all depends on if you go to God yourself and find out. The Healthy Life Channel on TH-cam talks about coffee. (Although not everything they say I believe as true). Anyway, I hope you can see that those words in Moroni 10:9 are not so stuck to what you may have learned to think. Relax, take a deep breath, be humble, and then ask God for understanding and truth. Maybe I helped, idk, but God is the source of all truth, we can only help each other along the way.
I agree with Elder Holland: 1) it is exciting that there is more and it will come, 2) we absolutely need to study and ponder what we have already been given If we allow ourselves to be deceived, we won't recognize or desire the truth when it comes. 2 Nephi 27-29 comes to mind. Also 2 Nephi 9:28-29,42-43. Good on The Stick of Joseph for guarding against priestcraft. Christ is the Light that we hold up.
I've begun studying apocryphal works alongside the standard canon. I think we underestimate how much we already have. It is less familiar, and takes more careful study with a modern gospel lense, but there's good stuff to be had which can strengthen our testimonies of Jesus Christ. And I look forward to the clear testimonies of Him that have yet to come forth from other nations.
Right-on, same here. The Lord is King, not any man. As I read more and more Apocryphal scriptures the more I see why most were in the Bible way back before 1611.
Loved this! I think there is something to say that not all records are of ancient origin. Our lives should also be testaments of Jesus Christ. I think we sometimes undervalue the importance of journal-keeping, particularly journaling our spiritual experiences we are able to write down, as they pertain to Christ. If we write these experiences down, it is harder to deny them later on in life when we can go back and recall exactly some of the details in the clarity and freshness of our thoughts at the time we received them, and not from our degenerative memories.
The thought I had just the other day was, if I got to ask a General Authority, I would ask if today's equivalent of "the small plates" need to be written by President Nelson's own handwriting and if archival paper was ok for the record, or is there some reason it may need to be on metallic plates also. (probably a little intense, but whatever)
I’ve learned that when you write down your spiritual experiences and insights the Lord will give you a lot more of them. He considers these experiences “pearls of great price” and by writing them down it simultaneously shows that we recognize and appreciate his valuable gifts and the gift giver. If we don’t write them down then we’re like the pigs & swine trampling on pearls.
This reminds me of certain people I’ve heard on TH-cam that claim to have had spiritual experiences and have received revelation that the Prophet and the Apostles are leading us astray. Each one of those people makes themselves the center of attention, and talks about why we should listen to their perspective, instead of making Christ the center of attention. I don’t think I’ve heard a single one of these individuals talk about the Savior very often, they always try to raise themselves up as a special authority, instead of holding Jesus Christ as the authority.
They do get revelation. Just not from god. Their revelations come from another individual who disguises himself as an angel of light. Which is why they start accusing the brethren and exalting themselves to lead members astray
Didn’t one of those people kill her own kids in Idaho because she was trying to live a “higher law” of sacrifice…talk about missing the point of the Abraham Isaac story.
You think the lds has no blood on its hands? Can a man be saved in the kingdom of God without excepting Russell Nelson as a prophet ruler? I fallow no man, nor look to any but Christ for my salvation. Cursed is he that puts his trust in the arm of the flesh! Blood Atonement, polygamy, revenge oaths, blacks and the priesthood, priest craft, no real power or authority, Adam God, secret combinations, joining the policy of forced experimental jabs , denying children with gay parents baptism, changing doctrine and revelation from holy scripture , this is what happens when you set these men up as idols. We reject the Book of Mormon and the new covenant as was revealed to Joseph in 1832 we are a Brighamite church with much to repent for.
From Such Turn Away. I wish we’d see them excommunicated more. This would allow them to heal and repent. I’m not sure what it’s going to take to see them addressed, it’s not our call though. Sigh.
Thank you for your powerful testimony to follow Jesus Christ, the Scriptures like the Book or Mormon, and our Prophet Russell M. Nelson and our Apostles. I’m so thankful for all of them.
I always fall back to the day and moment of my conversion and testimony, when Gods spirit awakened me to a remembrance of him, to know that he lives and true life is in him rather than in myself or my life alone, and the vision his spirit gave me showing me that the Missionaries are his acceptable servants. By this I know that God lives and the Church is Gods true Church. I have no hunger or thirst for the beliefs and philosophies of men. Their arrows and slings are also meaningless.
I have always grown up to believe and understand that when Jesus comes again many new 'scriptures' will be made known because it will be like the veil has lifted. I keep remembering that Jesus told us that he has many sheep so of course there will be many scriptures. We already are told that we barely grasp the meanings of the Book of Mormon that we have and need to study it. We known the Bible we do have has been translated and changed numerous times so we do need to studyajd discern constantly. Listen to President Nelson and those the Lord has called, such as Elder Holland. How wonderful to have great leaders who strive to helps us be better and learn more. ❤
Let me ask you what is scripture? The Book of Mormon is an account of a history of a people and their interactions with God and each other. In a very real way, a journal that describes one’s personal relationship with Jesus and his influence in their lives is scriptures. Maybe not church canon level but still scriptures if truthful and accurate and true. So yes I believe millions of books of scripture will possibly be made known.
Brain Hunter you said my thoughts exactly. Modern Scriptures is the Doctrine & Covenants. Along with all the conference talks that is inspired of the Holy Ghost. When I give a talk in Church that is Scripture. I’m guided by the Holy Ghost what to write & I share how the Lord has blessed me. The Liahona is Scripture compiled from others who was blessed by the Lord. We do have modern revelation & the Lord still blesses us. I wasn’t converted from reading Scriptures. I was converted when the Lord answered my prayer & showed me a scripture in the Book of Mormon that healed my heart from anger. It’s neat to find ancient Scriptures but I’m more interested in modern Scriptures hearing testimonies from others & how the Lord keeps blessing me. Tbis is what keeps me going to know the Lord loves us.
@@brainhunter1000 Well lets start with the wagon loads of plates that the Mormons have described in their Church Journals, is that scripture enough for you? unless there is someone to translate Reformed Egyptian you are well on the way. unless that went back to heaven with the plates Joseph had, plus all the other items.
Something else that sets apart those of you who are striving to point the way to Christ is the strong sense that we’re doing this together, we’re helping each other come to Christ …
ExMo here. While I disagree with much of LDS doctrine these days I can still appreciate the church for the good it does. I also appreciate this channel as I sometimes like to entertain any possible new data with regard to Mormonism (it’ll always be called that imo) that may show where I’m wrong. Please don’t do what gents do at Ward Radio. They make Mormons look terrible with their arrogance and hubris, especially their leader. I have noticed a clear difference with how you two approach discussions and topics compared to them, especially ones that challenge your truth claims…it’s night and day. Keep up the good work, fellas!
What level of Ex-Mo? Just curious. I am kinda on the border because of some serious issues with some LDS doctrines and the succession of authority. Swearing secret combinations style oaths is not cool, and was a big part of the temple ceremony in early church, and even till 1990's when it was removed because of the number of people leaving the church. Even during the ceremony now in terrestrial room, you do not promise everything to Christ, but instead to the church. This raises questions on is it good to promise everything to an organization run by fallible men? Many use the quote that if the prophet was leading the church astray, God would take him away(Manifesto 1). This is not scriptural, as we can easily see in many cases of corruption such as among the Israelites during time of Isaiah and Jeremiah. Same with King Noah and His priests. The definition of a prophet is one who prophesies, and more specifically is one who is usually not in the high eclesiastical ranks of his day, but is someone humble who knows the voice of God and follows Him and are called by Him to preach a specific message, which are of Christ and His plain simple gospel. It is usually not in those high ranks because of the pride that creeps in. This is easily observable in our day of LDS leaders, including their very adamant position on never giving apologies unless pressed, and even then... Those messages that the prophets give must be consistent with the word of God and does not contradict it. God stays the same, he uses the same patterns and formulas because they work. Satan does as well. Not sure if you have studied that at all, though I am guessing this may just be rehashing stuff you already know and have thought about. As to my own position, I am still a firm believer in Jesus Christ and the Book of Mormon though! Jesus, because I have personally been in His presence and He saved me when I was at my lowest, and the Book of Mormon because of studying it deeply and applying it's teachings, taking God at His word, and watching as He responded in turn. I know for a fact from referencing and studying the Bible and the Book of Mormon that there is great symmetry and consistency between them, and the Book of Mormon renders certain things much more plain while keeping them in the same context. One of the things I think few realize, is that the Book of Mormon is one of, if not the best political treatise or document available to us today! If you are aware of the discussions and debates that were going on when our country was founded, you would also note that the Book of Mormon not only has many if the same points, but also clearly defines the why, how, when of good government and all the things necessary to keep it that way. There are many of the same points on Kings, as well there is a massive symmetry between the Bible in 1 Samuel 8, and Ether 6, where in both cases they were warned of what having kings other than God would lead to, and it is then plain to see what happened when the warning was ignored. As the Brother of Jared said"Surely this thing leadeth into captivity." That is then the story of the reign of the Kings in both books where it then becomes painfully obvious that it does indeed bring bondage and captivity. It is so evident that only 2 kings in the Bible actually stayed righteous till they died. That would be King Josiah and Hezekiah. King Mosiah warned his people of the dangers as well. It was only by heading his words, being vigilant and not letting people get into any position of power like that over them that they managed to have any semblance of freedom and peace in their land. If you ever want some other people who may be in a similar boat to you and who are trying to follow Christ, The Clarity Podcast does excellent interviews much like how these guys do it. That way of doing interviews is something I have come to deeply appreciate, as it helps to not just ostracize those who would be our friends, but to find our commonality and talk through harder subjects and come to a good conclusion where both sides have learned something and are benefitted. Tucker Carlson has also been doing an excellent job on this and even has excellent conversation with those who may have very different viewpoints from his own. One of the common phrases touted in the church that has universal application is"You are going to make them lose their faith!" It begs the question, what are they losing their faith in, and if a thing is false then why should we still believe in it? We need to be grounded in the truth which comes from Christ. It stays the same regardless of everything else, it is true, and thus will stand scrutiny and the test of time. It provides a sure anchor, which is why we are told to have our Foundation in Christ and to live by every word which proceeds from the Mouth of God. God will confirm all his words. He has given us that witness, and thus we can go to Him for answers, and if our desire and prayer is the truth and nothing but the truth, He will make it manifest to us and will teach us if we are humble and follow Him. Nothing else will substitute as everything else will fail. He is and always has been, and will be the same. It is why He is a sure anchor to our souls. It then becomes imperative to deeply study and to know His words as they recorded in the scriptures and then to apply them. This requires both critical thinking skills, good logic and reasoning skills, letting the Lord guide your study and letting Him teach you, and let Him help you understand how to correctly understand and apply it, and in what context. This requires a deep careful study with lots of note taking, prayer, fasting, and recording of the things He tells you and does in your life. Anyway, just some thoughts! Hope it helps, and I am curious what you think? This is where I am at right now. Sincerely, Your Brother in Christ, JS
@@TrustinChrist-truthseeker Thank you for your reply. I am at the point where I am considering removing my name from the church records. That’s the level of ExMo I am. Side note, I am related to Brigham Young through my father’s mother’s (my grandma) side. That’s not to brag, or be proud of, but shows you the stock I come from. My family would be very disappointed lol. As to the BoM, I used to take your stance, that it was true, factually speaking and that maybe the line of succession was broken, or that Joseph Smith was a fallen prophet. I no longer believe that. I personally believe the BoM was plagiarized from several sources proven by stylistic analysis that has been done. That on top of the Smith family’s connections to Dartmouth common view of the Hebrews of the time, and it’s a nail in the coffin for me. Add that on top of no archaeological, linguistic, or DNA evidence and I just don’t see how it can be “of God” so to speak. That said, I believe to answer the question of it’s truthfulness one must answer what truth is. And, are there different kinds of truth, that is, truths that are not objective (facts)? It turns out, there are non objective truths. There are also subjective truths, normative, and complex truths, outside of objective truths. When we start understanding the difference we can truly parse the church’s truth claims into different categories. In my opinion, none of the church’s truths claims fall into the objective category of truth. And for me that’s a deal breaker. DM if you would like to chat more or like to know what I have read, studied, and researched. All the best!
@@ryant6134 I am assuming you are referring to the Lucy Code on the Book of Mormon? Am I incorrect? One of my main issues with that one is not that those books did not exist at the time before Joseph Smith came and may have possibly been at Dartmouth college and that they possibly contained many of the ideas found in the Book of Mormon, as well as the family connections, but instead is with the complexity of it. I realize Hyrum was a pretty smart dude! That does not change how stupidly complex that book is and that it has a crazy amount of cross referencing and consistency, has an amazing interweaving of good common sense politics and religion, in many instances a much more plain teaching of the ideas and concepts found in the Bible when considering proper context and going back to the original meanings conveyed through the Hebrew and Greek, and this among others. It spends far more time teaching about secret combinations than the Bible and any other book I know of. It specifically warns us of a secret combination in our day seeking to overthrow the freedom and liberty of all lands, countries, and peoples(Ether 8), but warns specifically on what to look out for. We see that clearly with organizations such as with the U.N.( United Nations), WEF(World Economic Forum), WHO(World Health Organization), CFR(Council on Foreign Relations), etc. If you haven't looked into those, I would highly recommend starting with the WEF's website and looking closely at their goals for the future and their ramifications. Their articles also dictate world policy, such as during 2020 during the plandemic. I would look at those articles, as the approaches and plans outlined in them were a word for word playbook for the approach taken to the World's response to Covid-19. Switching back to the original subject, I am merely saying that at the very least, it is one of the greatest compilations and collaborations of ideas compiled into a book, and I would put it as being one of the greatest books of its time. It is one I would have no qualms recommending as an excellent book to anyone, and that it is hard to find a book with such incredible depth and good principles as is found in this book. This is from my own experience spending many, many long hours studying it deeply, applying and living its concepts, and coming to know personally the the God it speaks of. This is on top of my study of other books such as Stephen R. Covies books which are basically biblical principles that are branded slightly different. You can find every one of them in the Bible. It is the same for many other self help books and good principles. If a thing is true, it doesn't matter how you repackage it, because it will remain consistent and have the same applicable results when applied. There might be some nuance in its application, but this is what wisdom is. Jesus Christ is the one that saved me at my lowest when I was suicidal and caught in the trap of addiction. That is how I know Jesus Christ is real, as I have been in his presence and felt his love and peace! There is no experience like it, and I hope that I can help others have that same experience! The Book of Mormon and Bible are the only two books that fully detail my experience and clearly detail how to recieve it. The only thing I know to be absolutely true, is that Christ does live and loves us and wants to have a personal relationship with us. I would be nowhere the man I am today if not for His continued help and because He took hold of my outstretched hand! I very much do believe that He is to only truly be found by the humble, earnest seeker of truth, who wants to actually know Christ. Many claim to be Christians, but few actually truly know and have personally experienced Christ both inside and outside the Church. As far as the scientific stuff, I have read through a decent bit, but still need to do more research. That includes the various different theories of how the native Americans got here. I also do believe that in general our modern science is disposed towards Atheism which makes sense considering its origins. That does not mean I completely disregard it, but I also have reason to believe that their has been a purposeful destruction or hiding of evidence by institutions such as the Smithsonian of early American artifacts which fit along nicely with the objective at the time to enforce manifest destiny. There are accounts in many newspapers and articles of early American history of artifacts being found, the Smithsonian being contacted, and then the Smithsonian simply making them disappear to never see the light of day again. There is a documentary detailing this called A Race of Giants, then another called Ancient Giants of North America, and then one more called Search for the Lost Giants. Another possible resource is a man by the name of Chief Medigah. Might be worth your while to go do some research on him. I would also ask too, is what are the underlying claims, ideas, concepts, and agendas being pushed, and what are their ramifications? I would be interested in getting your thoughts and what sources convinced you? What stuff have you studied in relation to these topics? I am not opposed to doing more research as I believe in giving a more honest take on things, which of necessity requires massive amounts of research into all areas and from all the different groups and the close examination and breaking down of their ideas and the ramifications of said ideas and concepts both theoretical and how those actually work out in reality. I look forwards to our continued discussion! I hope you have a great night! Sincerely, Your Brother in Christ, JS
@@ryant6134 As to what truth is, I would define it as a correct understanding or knowledge of something. There is most definitely a scale of our understanding of it, but the actual truth does not change. It is objective, it is our quest to try to actually figure out what that objective truth is. Everything before that is belief that it may be true, and that there is a good case to be made, but we cannot definitively say it is true. Wisdom then is the correct application of said knowledge which again is based on a correct understanding of the subject matter, and requires the correct understanding of our world, natural law, and of human nature to determine the nuances of how to best apply it. This encapsulates everything you just mentioned. A thing cannot be true outside of the objective truth. It is only a belief at every point before that. If it is true, it will provide the same results every time when applied the same in the same or similar circumstances. Subjective truth is commonly used to enable the LBTQ+ community as it then allows men to say that they are a woman just because they feel like it, or because they are trapped in gender dysphoria. It does not change their biology nor that they are a man. Their understanding is based on their life experience, but does not mean that trying to transition to becoming a man attempting to be a woman is a good thing. Subjective truth would say that they are the exception and are a woman trapped in a man's body. That is how it feels, and is their belief, but it does not mean it is true. This only would be the case if life truly was random and there was not natural law that governs all things as set up by God. This is also just one case of the many in that group and also in general. As to complex and normative truths, what does that mean and more specifically the complex truths? All objective truth is extremely complex, more so because as said there is so much that goes into it. It does not mean that it cannot be plainly explained though and understood. It is one of those things that makes for good engineers, as they are able to take extremely complex topics and explain them in a way that gets the information across in a plain manner that can more easily understood by the layman. Going back to subjective truth, the objective truth will remain the same. Subjective truth is a replacement for saying that you do not fully and correctly understand the objective truth and natural laws that govern it. Same with normative truth. What we call normal may actually be an aberration, corruption, wrong or incomplete view of the objective truth. If we do not fully or correctly understand it, then we will fail to explain things that happen outside the ordinary which would then be labeled as subjective truth according to that train of thought. These are my thoughts on that. What are yours? Sincerely, Your Brother in Christ, JS
@@TrustinChrist-truthseeker No. I’m referring to “The Late War Between the United States and Great Britain.” Watch the TH-cam video titled “2013 - Chris Johnson - How the Book of Mormon Destroyed Mormonism” for a detailed analysis of stylistic writing of books that would have been available to Joseph Smith. As to Dartmouth, here’s what I learned that really fascinated me was the fact that the Smith’s had a relative that taught at Dartmouth. His name was John Smith and was a cousin to Asael Smith who was Joseph’s grandfather. He (John Smith) was a professor of ancient languages (Greek, Latin, Hebrew, Chaldaic, and Arabic). John developed theories about the origin of Native Americans and various theological ideas. Most of these ideas/theories were related to the Hebrews and the lost tribes. He had two students of note. Solomon Spalding and Ethan Smith. Solomon Spalding wrote an unpublished historical romance of the lost civilization of the mound builders of North America. Another manuscript he wrote told of the first settlers of America which attempted to show that Native Americans were descendants of the Jews, a lost tribe. Ethan Smith wrote “View of the Hebrews.” Fawn McKay Brodie suggests this book had strong parallelisms and influenced the Book of Mormon. Of course this is hotly debated. Independent researcher Richard K. Behrens published an article proposing a connection between John Smith’s lectures and ideas and those of Joseph Smith. He identifies 20 common ideas between them. He also identifies ideas not related to. Add in the book “The Late War Between the United States and Great Britain” with its numerous parallelisms and coincidences of words and phases used and we add to the debate. Between teachings, writings, and ideas of John Smith, Solomon Spalding, and Ethan Smith, and The Late War…, all foundations of Mormonism are accounted for before the writing of the Book of Mormon. Lastly, in Lucy Mack Smith’s autobiography she mentions that Joseph would tell of stories of ancient inhabitants of the Americas, their manner of dress, war, politics, and religion. For me, I simply cannot overlook the preponderance of evidence against the BoM.
Thanks for the explanation of priest craft, which has been a puzzle to me. I will only seek truth from the correct sources. The Lord has warned us that in these latter days, members of the Church will try to lead other brothers and sisters astray. Be strong.
Best sentecnce you said, "i have no authority. Turn to Christ". Perfectly said. He is the authority he is the way not some delusional idea that some anti is spouting off on youtube. They have no authority.
I absolutely love this! When I was in Utah I had a friend that was spiritually gifted but I remember her saying to me that she was meant to be a relationship between God in certain areas since there were things I wanted to understand but didn't. When I asked her why she thought that she spoke about difficult it was for other people to really deeply understand God. That set off a red flag and I said to her that I believe that that's exactly what Heavenly Father wants, for us to pursue him with real intent so that we can have that relationship with him. Not long after that I heard president Nelson say the same thing. Sadly there are those good-hearted people out there that don't realize they're being deceived as well. I think this is one of the sentiments behind why Joseph Smith said that a man must have the discerning spirits.
The only thing you need to understand is that they want your money and to do everything they tell you to do. Everything else is just conjecture, pomp and circumstance. Joe Smith was the 19th century Epstein
There are MANY people that are already practicing priestcraft. Often they are narcissistic wolves in sheep’s clothing and promoting various “self improvement” and prosperity philosophies. I worked at one such Utah company for many years. I ultimately had to walk away. “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.” Colossians 2:8. As I watch this man continue to set himself up as a light to the world I’m reminded of Romans 1:22 “professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.” “For men shall be lovers of their own selves . . . high minded . . . Having a for, of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2 Timothy 3:2-5.
Great NT references! The ancient apostles had to deal with this all of the time. Communication networks were such that it was harder to keep such under control.
Priestcraft is defined in 2 Nephi 22. = Those who seek popularity, prestige, power, and prominence. The very opposite of the Doctrine of Christ. Honesty, Unselfishness, Purity of Motive, and Love for the Strenth of God = faith, repentence, baptism (covenant) and the gift of the holy ghost.
I was in a High Priests meeting, in the days when the Quorems met separately. They were teaching about the Living Prophet and the "fact" that he is infallible or in other words, "Can never lead us astray", which is false doctrine of course. So I read from D&C 1:38, "whether by my own voice or the voice of my servants, it is the same". I added a whole bunch MORE to that verse which I made up on the spot as if I were quoting the scripture..." And I hereby command you to follow the Living Prophet for he will never lead you astray, but will lead you in the ways of life and salvation". I figured some well-read-in-the-scriptures High Priest, would speak up and challenge me that such a verse is NOT in the scriptures. Exactly!!! There is NO scripture that supports the infallibility of any flesh and blood living man. But no one challenged me. Rather, they marveled that there was such a scripture and that they were going home to "look it up". I was amazed. NO ONE challenges my false and ridiculous quote from the Doctrine and Covenants? No one knew, so it seemed. As I have traveled around the Church, I have discovered that the BEST kept secret in the Church today is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And the Standard Works contain the knowledge of the Gospel. Since they have never actually STUDIED and SEARCHED the Standard Work, they have little idea of what's in those holy books. It's sad for it leaves us vulnerable to be misled by men, even the Prophets and Apostles of this Church. As it turns out, the members are now relying on these men to lead them. As one Bishop told me, "We don't need Isaiah. We have a Living Prophet", whereupon I reminded him of what the Savior taught in 3 Nephi 23:1-3 wherein He COMMANDED us "to search the words of Isaiah", telling us it would tell us all things relating to Israel and also to the Gentiles who we are. That shut him up. What could he say? I think now we are fast approaching the fulfillment of the prophecies of 3 Nephi 6 when the Church broke up leaving just a few faithful Lamanites who clung to the Gospel. When I see what's going on at BYU, I mourn. I could not in good conscience send any of my grandchildren to that Univesity. It's a mess and that makes me sad. As BYU goes, so will go the whole Church. Also, President John Taylor prophesied of this coming disaster. And here we arel. We follow the Savior, none else. We can listen to men's counsel, but in the end, we follow the Savior, reading His Scriptures and listening to the Voice of the Spirit. Yes, we may come into conflict with me, even the Leaders of the Church, but we MUST be true to who we are and what the Spirit of God is telling us to do.
Boyd K Packers GC talk from April 1985 titled “From Such Turn Away” keeps coming to my mind. He recaps prior principles of authority and his message reaches us 100% today.
The idea of priestcraft always floated in the back of my mind when watching channels of even faithful members. Thank you for expounding and clarifying the concepts.
As indicated in the New Testament during Christ being tried by Satan, we learn that even the Devil can quote scripture. But he can't send the spirit of peace.
Thank you for your insight and going over what priestcrafts are. Alot of insights are coming out that keep testifing of the validate the Book of Mormon as a true testiment of the Saviour and His devine Sonship and how He has made it possible for us to know how to return to His presence.
Dear acting president Holland alluded to or mentioned his near-death experiences in his April 2024 general conference talk, possibly, he will make a book of this and offer it to us. Thank you for your efforts to keep us on the straight and narrow gospel path!
I have to chuckle at those who treat this as some SURPRISE announcement or concept. 🤣🤣 There was always gonna be more scriptures coming (that are hidden or kept in heaven) but it was just a matter of time or the saints "being worthy & ready" to accept more. We havent met that standard yet because we're STILL under condemnation for not taking certain precepts of the BoM seriously. This is nothing new but it is for people who have kept their heads in the sand and cant think or research deeper than the surface. You dont need Holland to make this known, it was always there. Ppl just fail to realize it on their own due to the laziness of the mind & spiritual dependency.
Amen! 2 Nephi 29:3 "And because my words shall hiss forth-many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible! We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible." According to the Prophet Joseph in D&C 109:60 "... the revelations and commandments which thou hast given unto us, who are identified with the Gentiles." The members of the Church (the Gentiles) in general will ultimately turn away from the Book of Mormon and reject the new scriptures because they remain under the condemnation pronounced in D&C 84:54-57. Only those that dig deeper than the surface level meaning presented in the Book of Mormon chapter headings will be in a position to accept new scripture. Their hearts and minds will be closed to it.
@@jonbetzold2510 Amen. I was taught about other scriptures coming through the Lord teaching me through the scriptures. There is so much in there that is plain for those who are serious studiers of the scripture, and who are willing to take the Holy Spirit as their guide. They also abundantly teach about secret combinations, proper government in the Book of Mormon which by the way is possibly the best political documents I have come across, the power of constant prayer, and it's necessity for us to survive in following Christ, records coming forth, what will actually happen to the gentile church in the last days(3 Nephi 16, 20, 21, books of Mormon and Moroni), and so much more. There is so much people are missing out on! I think that element of having your eyes opened by the Holy Ghost, and being willing to follow the Lord wherever he leads you is absolutely necessary. It also helps to have friends who are in that same boat that you can deeply discuss the scriptures with. I would add that you have to be willing to do the hard work to actually study them though, and to write down what you find. My scriptures are loaded to the brim with notes in the margins on what I have learned and what is in the chapter so that I can remember it. What do you think, am I missing anything? We may already have "New" scriptures when we start reading the existing scriptures iin the context of the people who wrote them and the people they were written to. Your discussions about the Tree of Life are a start and for many people of "new" scripture. There is much, much, much more in the Book of Mormon that is not understood by typical LDS cultural context.
I immediately thought of Joseph Smith since he was convicted in a Court of Law for Priestcraft an treasure hunting . people see what want to see, and hear what they want to hear, read what they should be reading saves all the trouble.. most of the ANTI literature actually comes out of church archives , translations, all three standards of the MORMON scriptures are viewed by modern expert scholars to be a fakes.
Heartland Podcast Chief Midegah answers questions of the first interview where he introduces the similarities with their teachings compared to the Book of Mormon. And then he talks about other important historical events. He also talks about the birch bark scrolls which have existed for many years, but our schools don't teach about.
In the latest video I watched of him, Chief Midegah said that in September there will be a meeting with tribes from Central and North America who will share their scrolls with each other; at 1:24:25 in this video: th-cam.com/video/PPyZWCrP5yc/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUkY2hpZWYgbWlkZWdhaCBsYXR0ZXIgZGF5IHNhaW50IHdhdGNo
I think it's so wise to pray for the gift and spirit of discernment. Oh man! I know exactly who you're talking about. He was going around to people's homes teaching priestcraft. I think his name was Nehor, but I won't tell anyone. 😮 My lips are sealed.
Keep going Hayden! John 21:25 (last verse) states, "25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen." Image the additional scripture that changes our 4-year scripture study cycle to a 100-year cycle. When I think of priestcraft, I think of Chad Daybell and his minions.
Good stuff. Unfortunately we see priestcraft by many come follow me channels, including many authors peddling their goods through Deseret/Seagull book. People can talk about Christ and it can still be priestcraft. All they need are some half truths (which there are sooooo many out there) and their hearts set on money, focus on worship of their followers.
Records of the lost tribes and the sealed portion... We must learn to value and appreciate what we have been given now before we can be blessed with more. Excellent video. Thank you.
Mauricio Berger … A Brazilian man who claims to have the sealed portion of the plates and labans sword. You can look it up online in multiple places. But it reeks of deception

I have had very personal sacred experiences from Heaven that were meant just for me. Personal miracles and messages. They have come at the exact times when I have needed them. Whenever I use the English language to explain them to others, it does not work. I feel like this is Heaven's way of telling me, "this is between us." Sometimes we create more dissonance and non-unity when we go off on interesting gospel tangents. The Lord really wants us to focus on Faith, Repentance, Baptism, and the Holy Ghost.
When new scripture comes it will be through the current prophet(s), seer(s) and revelator(s). If it comes from any other way it will not get any attention from me. Stay vigilant my friends! Pray always and seek for truth in the proper channels and “take your vitamins”. 👌🏼
Yes. There are definitely more scriptures to come in the future and we all wait with great anticipation, however, we must remember that any additional scripture will come to us through proper channels ie. our prophet, seer and revelator. It would be against the way the Lord works to have a private individual to come and present scriptures for the members of the church to adopt. The prophet holds the keys. Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret to his servants, the prophets. Amos 3:7.
There are new Scriptures! So many are being revealed to those who are searching at this time!!! This is a time if refreshing and restoration! God's words and works are without end. Find what God is doing upon the earth right now!
When the leaders ignore or encourage behaviors contrary to revealed doctrines, commandments of Christ, it hurts our kids who then live outside what the doctrines of Christ are without even knowing it. Drawing a line in the sand is sometimes needed. Less lines are being drawn, that is the issue.
We must be careful how much we rely on the leadership of the church. They have a bad track record of truth and honesty. I know...they are flesh and blood and weak from being human. I would like to think we all could be worthy of personal revelation and not rely on these guys to tell us to get vaccinated as an example. I'm not sure that was a bright move. As for more scripture, I think we are good with what we have. The last time the church tried to reveal scriptures Joseph Smith failed at understanding what the papyri was really for. So that was eye opening on personal revelation. What JS understood from the funeral texts on the scrolls was not what it really was but maybe to each their own.
I also find it interesting that 2 Nephi 26:29 is read and the next 2 verses are conveniently ignored 30 Behold, the Lord hath forbidden this thing; wherefore, the Lord God hath given a commandment that all men should have charity, which charity is love. And except they should have charity they were nothing. Wherefore, if they should have charity they would not suffer the laborer in Zion to perish. 31 But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; **for if they labor for money they shall perish.** Same with Alma chapter 1. All the other verses are conveniently forgotten 20 Yea, they did persecute them, and afflict them with all manner of words, and this because of their humility; because they were not proud in their own eyes, and *because they did impart the word of God, one with another, without money and without price.*
There are SO MANY people claiming to be a light to follow yet share ideas that go against the leadership of the church and often even the Savior's teachings himself.
Wanting additional Book of Mormon translation is like wanting a bigger fire hose (for a sip of water) or wanting more cool places on Earth to visit. The currently translated Gold Plates are sufficient to keep everybody busy (learning) for a long time to come.
Great great great video brother! When the scriptures talk about the coming “great deception” I will admit that one of my biggest fears is to be one of those who become deceived in these last days; So I absolutely love your advice you found in the scriptures to pray everyday for discernment from the Lord. I felt the Spirit hit me so intensely when I heard those words and I just wanted to sincerely thank you for being such a great example of whom points to the truth, or more importantly points to Christ, and illuminated His light! ✨

If we do receive more scripture you can cross-reference it to The Book of Mormon and The Holy Bible. If it is true there will be no contradictions to the doctrines between the three. And you should read it and follow Moroni’s instructions to read, ponder and pray to know if it is the truth (or to know if it is not true). I invite you to continue to receive revelation to solidify your testimony of the Book of Mormon. If it is true, then Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration of the Lord’s Church, and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the kingdom of God in Earth in preparation for the Second Coming. Have a great day! :)
@@Shtinamin I’d suggest you look deeper into the plentiful anachronisms in the BoM and in the JS Bible version too, not to mention the church’s admission in the Gospel Topic Essays that the BoA doesn’t match the original papyrus, not even close by any LDS or no -LDS Egyptologist standard.
So I'm reading the Book of Mormon and I remember what Joseph Smith Jr wrote about his feelings on it, writing, "...the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book", as if he's studied ever sacred book ya know?! Well I want to be able to identify all the precepts in the Book of Mormon so that not only can I live and abide by them but I can share with others what they are exactly. And I read up to the account of the Anti-Nephi-Lehis in Alma 24 where they had a mighty change of heart. Even a spiritually-radical change of heart and thereafter they refused to ever take up weapons again to distance themselves as far as spiritually possible from the sin of killing even if it meant self defense. Understanding that killing in any form was just that serious. Even more serious than they had understood about "Thou shalt not kill" than they had ever before understood. But then I couldn't help but think of all the heroic rhetoric I grew up seeing in pictures and in Sunday school classes and seminary about Moroni and what it meant exercise the actions behind his Title of Liberty banner which teaches a complete inverse of the precept that is taught to us from the Anti-Nephi-Lehis. Can someone please help me to reconcile between the precepts taught here? 🙏 Thank you. God bless. And all glory to God ✝️ 🕊 ☯️
Thank you for reading and studying the another testament of Jesus Christ. If a man tell you, the more it gave you the reason. Keep searching for the answer, trust the Holy Ghost will give you the answer.
When I teach or give a talk in church, about 50% of the time I get feedback that miracles, revelation, etc. do not exist anymore from ward members. I just quote the scriptures and speak an interpretation the Holy Ghost gives me. This division has already begun, and when more scriptures come out they will get even louder and divisive.
That is so sad. I testify that miracles and revelation happen as a single parent that raised 5 children on little or no child support I did see miracles and also received revelation on many difficult situations.
@@gracenotworkz It's Satan. Joseph Smith jr, Prophet, Seer and Revelator of this Latter-day dispensation fought with Satan from his first prayer and vision up to his final martyred breaths. THAT is who we are fighting here. THAT is who is ultimately responsible for this debauchery.

until the condemnation discussed by ETB that the Church was and is under for its lack of use and understanding it lifted, nothing else is coming. So many read and do not understand, read and refuse to see, and ultimately trust Babylon more than the Father and His scriptures.
Many churches and ministers proclaim Christ, then imply they show the way as they ask for a donation to support or expand their ministry. Most put down the LDS as being deceived but the Book of Mormon answers their objections very well. But still, the need for money in this world is real. If not for them bringing people the Christ to start with, we would have have a difficult time converting anyone. I see the Lord using them in a sort of 'John the Baptist' role, preparing people for the Lord so when our missionaries meet them they are ready to learn more of Him. Many are sincere in sharing their beliefs. I believe the Lord will be just and merciful to all. Therefore I leave all judgment to Him as He looketh upon the heart. Gifts of the spirit are diverse. We should use what we have to build His kingdom as He leads us to do so.
As we know, there were a number of authors of the Book of Mormon. Mormon combined the Small Plates of Nephi with his abridgment of the large plates and his own book. Then Moroni completed his father’s record, translated as much of the Jaredite record as he was directed to, then added his own writings. Those are the authors/compilers of what we have. But who was the editor of this book of scripture? My deeply held belief is that the Savior is the editor of the Book of Mormon. For me there are many evidences of this personal attention provided by Him in ensuring that what He wanted us to receive is in there. That being said, I agree wholeheartedly with President Holland. If He (the Savior) took the time and effort to ensure what He wanted in there to be in there, should we not focus on what we have? Worrying about when/if we will receive additional scripture takes our eye off the mark. I think that is what President Holland trying to get at. “Line upon line …”, and there are lots of lines and precepts we still, individually and as a people, need to internalize and live by.
It is disconcerting when you see more and more people starting videos with something along the lines of "what i am about to tell you was revealed to me." That has alarm bells ringing all around it. And it is certainly a weird balance trying to put out faith-promoting content while not wanting to be anybodys guru for praise. That said, we should share light and the LDS community should be vibrant and interesting and filled with a range of different specific areas of interest.
Right... "the Lord spoke to me today a d this what he said"... if the Lord spoke to YOU... that's who it was FOR, keep it to yourself and stop trying so hard to be righteous, just BE good and do kind acts.
@@crushendobear This is a very ignorant take on this, and we should be righteous. Doing kind acts does not make someone a good person. Also, sometimes the Lord does share things with people and it is given to them to share. Why is okay and good when it comes from those of your same religion, but outside of that it is only for praise? Take a step back and understand that more and more people are turning to Christ, and God is openly revealing things to them. Are you receiving revelations like that? If not, maybe take the invitation to examine your own life and see if anything you are doing is not in accordance with God's will. Then talk to Heavenly Father about it and change your ways. As you focus more on Christ, you will have more light and knowledge given to you.
Many times we are looking for new revealed truth from the source of others when we ignore the personal revelation and scripture written from our own experiences. We are our own Omni, Enos, Jacob and so forth. Keep a journal. Separate your spiritual events into subsections. Regarding new scripture, would we follow the light in them any better than the light we already have and receive every 6 months during Conference?
There will be more scriptures forthcoming, but first we have to live true to what we have received as a people. But, at the same time, there are people in the world today who are receiving personal revelations from the Lord. They cannot and will not share it publicly, but suffice it to say the heavens are open. These people seek no status or position. All they seek to do is bear testimony of Christ and urge everyone to obtain their own baptism of fire and the Holy Ghost, come to Christ, and be saved.
Thank you for speaking up about this! The things I have seen going around social media about “new scripture” and people claiming to be messengers of God is crazy.
As a missionary in Italy people would mention speakers or healers or singers being of God. But you had to pay to receive their services. Naturally money helps the church run and the early apostles needed it ad well. But no blessing or sermon was denied anyone because they couldn't pay for it. We receive freely and we are to give freely. The deceivers throughout time have theirs roots in money, not Christ and His gospel
@@senorbb2150 you obviously don't understand. You couldn't hear the gospel or be blessed or healed or prayed for without paying money. A temple recommend is a higher covenant that you agree with the Lord. If you don't believe it's true it doesn't matter. It wouldn't concern you
That's exactly what I told this evangelist that was anti-mormon . I said well luckily Joseph Smith taught everyone to turn to and follow Christ ...not himself
Exactly, don't rely on a prophet or a man for everything. Rely on the Savior and build a connection with him. The prophets are there to show us how to build that ourselves.

When Smith returned the plates to Moroni, it was inside a cave in the Hill Cumorah. The description he shared of the room was that it was full of plates, enough to fill wagons. And we will receive all the records of the those in the 10 lost tribes.
amazing ....wagon loads of scriptures.......yet the prophet in modern times know its there. when only the plates that Joseph had were taken back , no word of the wagon loads. seems harsh when the Church were asked to stop baptism for the dead for the holocaust victims, there a some lost tribes there.

Another part of priest craft is that they fight against the true church of Christ and the Lord's anointed, his prophets and apostles whom he has called and chosen. They mingle truth with error and pull people away from the truths of God and Christ. They teach men not to pray to God for answers but to listen to them and they persecute the saints.
I’m grateful for your comments here because I absolutely got caught in a snare when I was in 2020 with some people claiming that I needed to have my “calling an election made sure” in order to be “caught up to meet him” when Christ comes again. And this ruined my relationship with God for a while, because I know I’m an imperfect person and I make many mistakes daily. I thought there’s no way I could have my calling an election made sure. But after much prayer, I’ve realized that those people were deceiving the public. They were not pointing everybody to Christ to save them, but rather to themselves to save themselves. I wish I could go back and to be able to discern from error, but I’m also grateful that the Holy Spirit told me to stop listening to certain people and I did obey that which is why I was able to detect deception after I had been received and run from it. Also, do not believe anyone who points you to the book visions of glory .
The good news is that you recognize your sin will always leave you short of becoming worthy. That won’t change unless you believe in Jesus Christ who died for your sins so that you could be seen as blameless in God’s sight. You can be saved by grace through faith in Jesus, not by earning your salvation through works where you’ll always come up short. With faith you can do good works for sure, but those works aren’t what saves you. You’ve almost figured this out. Keep going.

The problem with TH-camrs or influencers concerning priestcraft, is they become shy to say what is right or truthful because it will affect their revenue stream, or it may lead to unpopularity and the loss of subscribers. There is also the element of pride. Becuase they get a following and positive feedback from their subscribers, they let it affect them and get a big head. Elder Uchtdorf suggested in his talk "pride and the priesthood" that when we get a lot of positive feed back to not " inhale."
Yes, lookout for priestcraft! Also, God works in patterns. That's one way to recognize truth and distinguish it from error. Does it follow the patterns of the past?
Read the Book of Mormon. Also seek out of the best books words of wisdom. We should read all texts people view as holy. With aid of the spirit our eyes will be open. When we do this maybe we will be blessed with more
The most important info to come are in the 24 sealed plates, seen by Joseph Smith and detailed in the Book of Ether and they will testify of the trinity and of the message from the book of Mormon. It doesn't matter who presents them, it's the message that's of the utmost importance as the witness of the truth of this message will be verified by the spirit. "My sheep hear my voice." ❤
I went to a channel😂 and they were teaching false doctrine. I commented that it was such and then the comments back from the owner was “ It’s ok to just look into these things.” I feel like they set themselves up for deception. Went back to check them out again and they wear looking at a book that was questionable. I worry about them drawing people away.
It’s my understanding that we don’t get more scripture, until we the members of the a Church know the scriptures we have and are living them. If we aren’t capable of living the law we have then we’re not deserving of more.
You’ll never be deserving and worthy if you believe in the doctrine of the LDS church. Believe in Jesus, put your faith in Him and you’ll be saved by grace. Then your faith will lead you to do good works, but not the other way around. You don’t have to earn salvation or earn extra scriptures. Set yourself free from the LDS chains.
@@gracenotworkzI’ve seen you quote the same comment on many of these comments. I feel sorry for you. I invite you to read the Book of Mormon and ponder its message and pray to know if it is true.
@@Shtinamin those are your feelings about yourself. You are projecting and you are sincerely wrong, led by a false prophet. We pray for you to find truth
@@gracenotworkz yep that first half was my feelings. It’s the internet. The second half was an invitation. I wish you luck on your journey. I know that there is truth in The Book of Mormon, no feelings there, just straight facts.
I know nothing about him aside from the debate he just did with Jacob Hansen, but 100% this was the vibe I got from him. He received some special spiritual witness, so we need to look to him as our standard… Or we look to Christ, and listen to those who point us towards him. That’s my preference
Reminds me of a photoshopped video cover of a man giving a talk at Conference as if he had ever been selected for such an honor. Immediate awareness of false prophecy and self importance.
Testimony Read scripture 25% pray25% Attend all church merting25% Keep the commandments 25% =100% testimony Call the 25% whatever but its just to show a good point ❤
This is incredible. Would you be able to share some specific examples of what he said?
Now keep this understanding and recognize there were break off's when Joseph Smith died. There will be changes to "the church", because we do not follow all that is in the Book of Mormon. The reason why some of the 15 and 70 have spoken of getting back to reading the BoM is SO VERY important. There are many things the church itself is teaching that we (if we haven't already) need to repent of instead of following blindly.
It’s all made up, OBVIOUSLY
I agree with Elder Holland:
1) it is exciting that there is more and it will come,
2) we absolutely need to study and ponder what we have already been given
If we allow ourselves to be deceived, we won't recognize or desire the truth when it comes. 2 Nephi 27-29 comes to mind. Also 2 Nephi 9:28-29,42-43.
Good on The Stick of Joseph for guarding against priestcraft. Christ is the Light that we hold up.
I’ll be waiting for a long time.
I love this video, thank you good Brother! Thank you for your testimony of Jesus Christ!
He considers these experiences “pearls of great price” and by writing them down it simultaneously shows that we recognize and appreciate his
valuable gifts and the gift giver. If we don’t write them down then we’re like the pigs & swine trampling on pearls.
I have always felt that there is so much more.... Are we ready to discern and receive it?? Love , love love elder Holland and our great leaders!!!!
Sigh.
They are coming in droves
Yes..we are looking forward for more records and we believe there are more to come..this is amazing.
Many to come forth
@smileysun9212 Would you share the scripture you read that healed your heart from anger? Thx.
Something else that sets apart those of you who are striving to point the way to Christ is the strong sense that we’re doing this together, we’re helping each other come to Christ …
Timely and succinct message. Well done! Thank you. 😊
Sincerely,
Your Brother in Christ,
JS
Sincerely,
Your Brother in Christ,

Sincerely,
Your Brother in Christ,
JS
AMEN! So great. Thank you!
Yeah, just like the Latter-day Ain't Mitt Romney.
Scripture always support the true gospel of Jesus Christ and his principles, personal revelatory dreams will also do the same.
*STRONG* message today on an IMPORTANT topic ! *VERY WELL DONE* .
This is so important. Thank you for speaking out on this!
As indicated in the New Testament during Christ being tried by Satan, we learn that even the Devil can quote scripture. But he can't send the spirit of peace.
the fact that you and your brother thoroughly studied priestcraft before embarking on this journey really shows what a class act you both are!
Thank you, Hayden. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺
Be prepared to meet our maker!!
Thank you for your insight and going over what priestcrafts are. Alot of insights are coming out that keep testifing of the validate the Book of Mormon as a true testiment of the Saviour and His devine Sonship and how He has made it possible for us to know how to return to His presence.
Thanks for this great video. Chad Daybell is the epitome of priestcraft in our days. Dude took it to the extreme.
Dear acting president Holland alluded to or mentioned his near-death experiences in his April 2024 general conference talk, possibly, he will make a book of this and offer it to us.
Thank you for your efforts to keep us on the straight and narrow gospel path!
Are you just speculating or has this been confirmed? I only ask because I would be so stoked to read his book if so
I just love your tagline! Great video and yes, we need to beware of false prophets.
❤❤❤❤❤this is perfectly said! Thank you!
Another fantastic video! Thank you!
Someday, yes. All he's saying is that we should read the Book of Mormon.
Reading the Book of Mormon keeps us away from personal apostasy..
Sincerely,
Your brother in Christ,.

I could only hope to be as righteous as you... NOT!
@@crushendobear I make no claims to be righteous. I am simply stating that when we are humble and patient, and then are willing to follow God wherever He leads us in the search for the truth which is only in and through Him, He is very gracious and kind to us and will teach us line upon line, here a little and there a little. I know that I am not perfect, I am far from it, but I am trying to follow Christ, and can only thank Him for all He has done in my life in spite of my unworthiness and how He is there for me in my strugglings! In my afflictions I find peace in Him. I do not point to myself, I point others to Him. I was not the one who brought me this far, He was, and has been my sure anchor! Before making judgments like you just did, consider that you know little or nothing of my life and do not know my heart. The JST version of the Matthew 7:1-2 in the Bible simply states this:
"1 Now these are the words which Jesus taught his disciples that they should say unto the people.
2 Judge not unrighteously, that ye be not judged; but judge righteous judgment."
And then from Alma 41:14-15
"14 Therefore, my son, see that you are merciful unto your brethren; deal justly, judge righteously, and do good continually; and if ye do all these things then shall ye receive your reward; yea, ye shall have mercy restored unto you again; ye shall have justice restored unto you again; ye shall have a righteous judgment restored unto you again; and ye shall have good rewarded unto you again.
15 For that which ye do send out shall return unto you again, and be restored; therefore, the word restoration more fully condemneth the sinner, and justifieth him not at all"
Then from 3 Nephi 14:1-12
“1 And now it came to pass that when Jesus had spoken these words he turned again to the multitude, and did open his mouth unto them again, saying: Verily, verily, I say unto you, Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged; and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother: Let me pull the mote out of thine eye-and behold, a beam is in thine own eye?
5 Thou hypocrite, first cast the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
6 Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.
7 Ask, and it shall be given unto you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
8 For every one that asketh, receiveth; and he that seeketh, findeth; and to him that knocketh, it shall be opened.
9 Or what man is there of you, who, if his son ask bread, will give him a stone?
10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?
11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
12 Therefore, all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them, for this is the law and the prophets.”
And then from D&C 11:12
"12 And now, verily, verily, I say unto thee, put your trust in that Spirit which leadeth to do good-yea, to do justly, to walk humbly, to judge righteously; and this is my Spirit"
Therefore I implore you to ask the Lord that He may help see others as He does and that you may be filled with His Holy Spirit that you may judge righteous judgment and have righteous judgment measured to you back! Our God is just. May the Lord our God bless and grant unto you your desires for righteousness, and give you rest when you are weary!

That is how I feel. I'm starting to see everything with new eyes.
Good reminder. Thanks.
Very good! 🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
When you defined priestcraft, I immediately thought of Joel Osteen.
Did you ever watch those fart videos of him? Hilarious

Chief Midegah answers questions of the first interview where he introduces the similarities with their teachings compared to the Book of Mormon.
Very important video!
Records of the lost tribes and the sealed portion... We must learn to value and appreciate what we have been given now before we can be blessed with more. Excellent video. Thank you.
Important message.
We need a name….. give us a name!
Mauricio Berger … A Brazilian man who claims to have the sealed portion of the plates and labans sword.
You can look it up online in multiple places. But it reeks of deception
the name is blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, BLEAH !!!
You can't handle the truth !!!!
Hayden you are spot on it looks like there is a wildfire going on in the Heartland group..which is only gonna burn a lot of people. Thanks for your comments keep the faith.
Amen
Amos 3:7.
I wish the Book of Mormon would be published in the Algongian language
Amen! amen
There are new Scriptures!
So many are being revealed to those who are searching at this time!!!
This is a time if refreshing and restoration!
God's words and works are without end. Find what God is doing upon the earth right now!
We need to follow our Savior, the prophet and the apostles.
I think the point here is that we need to follow the prophet and the apostles because they point us to the Savior
Just follow Jesus Christ. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
@@psychlops924we need to follow them IF they point us to the Savior. (Which I see them mostly doing by the way)
I also find it interesting that 2 Nephi 26:29 is read and the next 2 verses are conveniently ignored
30 Behold, the Lord hath forbidden this thing; wherefore, the Lord God hath given a commandment that all men should have charity, which charity is love. And except they should have charity they were nothing. Wherefore, if they should have charity they would not suffer the laborer in Zion to perish.
31 But the laborer in Zion shall labor for Zion; **for if they labor for money they shall perish.**
Same with Alma chapter 1. All the other verses are conveniently forgotten
20 Yea, they did persecute them, and afflict them with all manner of words, and this because of their humility; because they were not proud in their own eyes, and *because they did impart the word of God, one with another, without money and without price.*
There are SO MANY people claiming to be a light to follow yet share ideas that go against the leadership of the church and often even the Savior's teachings himself.
Sounds like Ward radio
Good stuff
Interesting.

@@gracenotworkz Have you read the Book of Mormon, ponder its message, and prayed to know if it true?
Thank you.
I testify that miracles and revelation happen as a single parent that raised 5 children on little or no child support I did see miracles and also received revelation on many difficult situations.
guess JS didn’t really keep the church together as he said, we’ve become divided in many ways

until the condemnation discussed by ETB that the Church was and is under for its lack of use and understanding it lifted, nothing else is coming.
“Your safety and ours depends upon whether or not we follow [the prophet]. Let’s keep our eye on the President of the Church.” Ezra T Benson

The LDS church is not the only group of people God speaks to. He reveals truth to all who seek Him and seek truth.
The deceivers throughout time have theirs roots in money, not Christ and His gospel
try getting a temple recommend without paying your tithing
@@senorbb2150 you obviously don't understand. You couldn't hear the gospel or be blessed or healed or prayed for without paying money. A temple recommend is a higher covenant that you agree with the Lord. If you don't believe it's true it doesn't matter. It wouldn't concern you
@@robsterzer2696 you must pay 10% of your income in order to enter or receive the blessings of the temple.
Great video! Keep it up, brother!
That's exactly what I told this evangelist that was anti-mormon . I said well luckily Joseph Smith taught everyone to turn to and follow Christ ...not himself
Don’t you mean anti-LDS, eh?
Exactly, don't rely on a prophet or a man for everything. Rely on the Savior and build a connection with him. The prophets are there to show us how to build that ourselves.
@@josephplayspickleball but they are false prophets. Study the non-church approved history, the real history, of Joseph Smith for example.
@@gracenotworkzBranding the anti-LDS narrative of Joseph Smith as the "real history" is incredibly disingenuous, disrespectful and indicative of this coming from a place of hatred, not love.
@@cameronreed1411 it’s the truth, JS is a false prophet. Sorry if that’s hard to hear, but you need to hear and understand that. Investigate and find the truth about JS
At the very least, the words of the brethren are additional records. We should be feasting on these. Additionally, we have the privilege of receiving continued revelation and to deliver it for those under our stewardships in accordance with the scope of our stewardships.
If you are not receiving these then you are walking in the dark and need to go to the temple more, study more and center your life on Christ! He will lead you!
@kingimatthews44a81 records from all over the world. The Book of Mormon is only the beginning of what's going to be coming forth.
@@kenmccain9743 seems clear that the so called Prophet wanted to sell the birth copyright to Canadians for silver after all the struggles it went thru, seems inconsistant that more is coming, to what you claim that the plates were taken away , without the translation of sealed portion, and missing manuscripts.
Example of this about to go to prison in Idaho
Didn't the Pharisees teach the same thing? The idea that we can just "stay faithful" to the leaders and everything will be fine is so strange.
Keep going.
Amen especially to the last sentence!
What’s wrong with visions of glory?
@vanhorntm is a false book that has led many astray, including the likes of chad daybell and similar peoples.

Follow the bretherine.
It’s brethren but yeah
I love him. He is such a great example of humility and goodness.
Yes, lookout for priestcraft! Also, God works in patterns. That's one way to recognize truth and distinguish it from error. Does it follow the patterns of the past?
Hey where did you get your shirt? "Be still and know that I Am God" has saved me in the worst of times. I love that scripture.
but there is that song..."follow the prophet, follow the prophet, he knows the way"
Read the Book of Mormon. Also seek out of the best books words of wisdom. We should read all texts people view as holy. With aid of the spirit our eyes will be open. When we do this maybe we will be blessed with more
Dude. For sure. There’s a podcast called The Ancient Tradition. The lady that does it does a really good job of explaining ancient symbolism.
I worry about them drawing people away.
i agree with your message, though it is odd most of the brethren say we should follow the prophet more than anything else
I don't find that at all. They point us to Jesus.

Jacob Isbell
I know nothing about him aside from the debate he just did with Jacob Hansen, but 100% this was the vibe I got from him. He received some special spiritual witness, so we need to look to him as our standard…
Or we look to Christ, and listen to those who point us towards him. That’s my preference
Reminds me of a photoshopped video cover of a man giving a talk at Conference as if he had ever been selected for such an honor. Immediate awareness of false prophecy and self importance.
