I’m going into nursing because I have a special needs son who will eventually need long term care so I can be his nurse and get paid to take care of him here in California That’s my drive to be able to better care for his needs

Great video ! I finished my RN pprogram in my left 40s and with 6 children. It was not easy but I have a great job in critical care that I love. We can all do it

48 yr long RN here. I always hated that the insurance company drives patient care. This video reinforces that.

I want to help people but I ALSO need money to provide for my family. So maybe RN is a better choice.

Im not smart enough. Im 49, dropped out of jr college because i failed every single subject and i never had a job. My iq is just a few points above what is legally concidered mentally challenged. I have 0 experience in medicine and never had any form of job in my life. Can i do it?

I have been trying to check all resources about going into nursing school. I have been wanting to be a nurse for a long time but I just dont know how to start cuz im a single mom , i have no family around to help me with my little ones, cuz i need to work full time, i live on my own with 3 kids, no child support nothing. I’m also a dermatology nurse and work with chronic skin conditions like psoriasis eczema acne and have left, bc management changed. I’d love to work from home remotely.. are there remote jobs that specialise in dermatology?

Hi, I’m a CNA and I just quit my job because I’m planning to proceed LVN and CNa is not an easy job. It’s exhausting and appreciate that you appreciate CNA’s and you don’t mind helping them coz not all Nurses are like you.

Hi there I’m just running into your channel and am wondering if anyone has info on a good LVN program in Southern California, preferably in Orange County or Riverside County?

Sounds like a dream job & yes you are lucky to have been hired as an LPN. Question: was a requirement for you to have a compact license, or does your employer or insurance company only deal with cases in CA?

I’m an RN FYI, and think the med passes in LTC of rehab facilities are HORRIFIC and unsafe. Sucks!

I think it’s awesome you’re giving advice for nurses. Awesome, truly. You talk too much and are wasting time. Get to the advice please. 90% of what you’re saying is unnecessary. Stick with the med pass, please. I am not being unkind. I think you’re doing a good thing.😀

Kaiser starts out in Northern Ca, $43.11 as of today. Union contract is up this month, expected to go up even more!

The best thing is you don't have to put up with all the crap from the RN's!!!!!!

Age is just a number..I don't see what the big deal is about going at an older age to school..I'm 40 and going back..I've had friends that got their RN at 45-48yrs. Some people might have the support now they didn't have at a younger age..I say go for it..

Hello help me. Im getting nervous. I had a 16x12cm cyst no tubes and my right ovary is gone. I got my period. My friend said its not a period and to call my doctor. Nothing is outta the ordinary. I got my surgery the 7th of August and i had my period than amd last night i got it. Help
