Hi I learned from watching one of your videos that lpn's have specialties you can get certifications in after nclexpn and I wanted to ask you how to get certifications in different specialties after passing the nclex on and do you go to nurse conventions ever to network or do you want to retire where you're at if you can?
Hi and thanks for watching my videos. I’m glad it can help. I don’t go to conventions just because it’s harder with my schedule but you definitely can get specialized in a certain area. It depends on where you work like a hospital or specialized clinic. Most of the time your employer will send you to training. Hope that helps😊
@@heyjustine8199 omgoodness thank you so much. Did you do stand alone lpn program or bridge? Is A&P for stand alone lpn program lighter than A&P for RN program bc lpn is shorter so the AP course has to be less detailed
@@brittneyjones1006 My program was just a straight forward LVN, no bridge and A&P was a pre-req in order to get in so yes it was shorter. With the RN program the last semester or 2 is more focused on in depth detail of Maternity and Med Surg; I believe...could be wrong though, lol
