    Kaiser starts out in Northern Ca, $43.11 as of today. Union contract is up this month, expected to go up even more!

    I’ve worked for kaiser for 4 years and they start LVN’s at LVN 1’s no matter your experience at $31 an hour. 😢 it may change with bidding this year in June. That amount is locked in the contract for 2 years at a time. When you apply make sure to ask the starting pay rate at the time of applying. I have new grad friends who started at $40 an hour.

    Hi Justine, thank you for all your nursing videos. I am currently finishing my LVN program and feeling the stress (more stress than excitement) due to having to pass the exit exam. Any advice or tips for this big major test would be much appreciated!

      Hi Nereida, it’s very stressful. I can tell you it took me over two hours to take my nclex and I came out bawling with stress and anxiety thinking I did not pass. But I did, and on the first attempt! I do have a video on tips for the nclex if you want to watch it but will make an updated one! Good luck!

    Hey Justine, I loved the video this is awesome information and honestly the fact that u included the ratings as well speaks volumes!! The money is always a must have but often times people forget to stop and think about the kind of company they are applying to. If u made 1 million in a years time but quit 2 weeks after starting because it was a horrible place to work??? What did I gain, awesome video!!! God Bless -Amanda

      Thanks so much for the feedback! And the ratings really are so important when looking into a company. You represent them and their values so it’s so good to know going into a new position what their reputation is. Thanks for the support 😊

    I’m a mom trying to start my LVN program hopefully in march I just started working at the hospital as a CNA. Any advice?

    • @heyjustine8199
      @heyjustine8199  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      My advice is don’t give up if you really want it. Don’t let anyone else talk you out of it because that’s one thing I realized so many people told me LVN would be a waste and for me it was not. Of course, I want my RN but when it’s my time it will happen if that’s still the route I want to pursue. It’s great you are getting that CNA experience because you will learn and see a lot.

      Thank you for watching. I would suggest researching schools in your area. It depends on what you want. There are many options in So Cal. Good luck!
