Hi Justine! I was working in Dermatology Dept too and enjoyed it. Had to leave recently for another opportunity. I miss it though.

I love come to work with me videos as well! Stinks u can’t record but u definitely could do the updates in your car like the end of this clip, it’s nice she was with your family while your were gone on that first day, I’d love to know more about hair loss in women and what does ur office do typically for this, of course it depends on the “why” I’m actually having hair loss myself lol so I’m on the hunt :) loving your channel !! ~Amanda

Hey Amanda, sorry for the late reply. Generally for hair loss our clinicians will request labs to rule out anything there. Usually they can pin it down to either hair loss in aging women, which is very common, stress, diet and or hormones. They usually recommend starting Rogaine 5% which is the mens version but with this you have to use it daily or it losses effectiveness. Definitely talk to a dermatologist and see what they recommend as every person is different, but this is typically what I hear in our office.
      Thanks for the support!!!

Love your videos! You motivate me to get my dream career..I’m starting my journey. I have always wanted to get into nursing, I had my kiddo at an early age so I have not gotten the chance to get in college after high school..I’m glad I’m deciding to take the first step🙌🏻 I have not been in school for years though! Any tips on studying for the TEAS? How did you do it? Be blessed!!!

Hey love. California new grad LVN here ! I wanted to follow your instagram but cant find it..I love your videos! I got offered a postion at a Skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. I asked for 30 but they declined and said they could do 27 per hour.. How does that pay sound? I'm a new grad with only a month of clinical expirence and my clinical expirence was in New York and that's where I went to school. Love your videos!!

Hi Justine. Congratulations 🎉! California New Grad here- LA County area. I’m not a LVN but I’m a new grad RN so I thought it would be good to give you some feedback. Maybe it’ll kind of give you an idea. I start my new grad residency program and they offered me $40.69/hr. This would be for day shift. Evening and night shift would be I believe a 4$ differential. This is at TCC- it’s considered within the nursing home umbrella. I hope this helps you.

Hi . I live in Southern California in the inland empire. $24-26 for a new grad LVN is standard at a SNF. $27 is good for snf, with no experience. I am a CNA waiting to take my NCLEX for LVN. However I was offered a position at a hospital recently as a CNA while I’m waiting. I got to meet with some nurses and they told me how much they were paid to start at a hospital as new LVNs. They start around the same as the snfs with no benefits, or less money hourly with benefits. I have friends who are at snfs with 3+ years of experience making 31. Hope this helps!

@@cynthiamora5906 This all sounds very accurate! I started as a new LVN 4 years ago in a SNF at $24 and over the last 3 years worked my way out of the SNF's and into ambulatory now over $31.

Hey, congrats and nice to see another Justine! The $27 sounds about right for a new LVN with no experience. I started at $24 but I am certain you could get more if you searched around more. If you need to get working I'd say take the position to get the experience while applying for other positions. During this pandemic you may be able to get more as a new nurse if there's a shortage. And thanks for watching my videos!
