Here's my brick tip I remapped the RGB function buttons to start and select. The lower row of buttons act as menu and other functions. In my philosophy the pretty buttons should be game controls, while the lower are device controls. Also I really like minUI

I can see Microsoft releasing an Edge OS that is a modified version of Windows where Microsoft Edge will mimic steam OS and allow gamers to play games from multiple companies without much tweaking.

I see that both the windows and steam is will have the same hardware specs on their site and on review sites.

Had one, psplay was only playable at mininal mbps, and gfn was barely playable too unless very low mbps, They made a cloud streaming device but used a cpu that can barely keep up with high bitrate decoding.. bit of a joke since its such a geniys idea

The one question I have yet to see anyone answer about the SteamOS version: Are the back buttons and gyro individually addressable in Steam Input? This could have been easily answered by exploring the controller settings.

I have the mini as well. Imo the mini is only for people where pocketability and small size is the most important thing to you. Otherwise if you're not planning to pocket carry the device everywhere. I would suggest grabbing the retroid pocket 5 for $20 more Me personally lives in a city where I ride aot of public trans and ubers. I love the mini because I can hold it in my front pocket. It's basically like carrying 2 galaxy s24s in there. It basically goes everywhere with me right now

Appearance is one of my priority when choosing any handheld device. I don't mind having to to take a grip along and put it on when using the device. The pleasing aesthetic makes me want to pick it up to game more.

I had a Steam Deck, and got rid of it after finding out about the ROG Ally X. The Ally X is everything I was hoping the Deck would be, and then some. Especially since it has VRR, which the Deck lacked, as well as being able to play games from on Gamepass, buy games from other stores such as GOG Galaxy, the Xbox store, and the Epic store. The Ally X is the best handheld PC on the market in my opinion, and I can't wait for the next iteration to drop.
