YEEESSSSS! THE GO S WILL DETHRONE THE DECK!!!!!! (But in all seriousness, the GO S could be a good lightweight option that may not interest current Deck owners but can build a passionate consumer base of casual games that are fine not playing AAA gaming. If Lenovo reorganizes themselves from the launch, addresses Battery life, Hardware issues, and other concerns, and Gives GENUINE SUPPORT. If it succeeds, we may see better organization and more options. Lenovo could ask AMD for another exclusive chip that is more battery efficient and Lenient/Experimental for modern AAA gaming.)
You’re right! But the windows version coming out soon is a higher spec device… 32gb of ram, and then to install SteamOS on it later might be worthwhile! Thanks for watching 😊
I think while Bazzite is great - the SteamOS release will be driver optimized for the Lenovo legion go s and that alone is going to be a big benefit - new chipset, new hardware, all ready out of the box through SteamOS no need to worry about installing yourself. It’s the dream! Thanks for watching! 😊
Nope. No plans they’ve announced for that. We know of technically 4 SKUs on their way: Lenovo Legion Go 2 (Z2E chip) Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows, Z2 Go chip, 32gb RAM, 1tb storage) Lenovo Legion Go S (Windows, Z1E chip) Lenovo Legion Go S (SteamOS, Z1E chip) The Best Buy listings talks about a Z2 Go, but the Lenovo Press release doesn’t even mention it. It’s a little more convoluted than it should be. Thanks for watching! 😊
The one question I have yet to see anyone answer about the SteamOS version: Are the back buttons and gyro individually addressable in Steam Input? This could have been easily answered by exploring the controller settings.
Great question! The demo units were fairly locked down so it was hard to really dive into those specifics which would explain why it wasn’t able to be covered in my video or others. But I’m sure it’s something I’ll be able to look into with a finalized retail unit! Thanks for watching 😊
I hope Lenovo improves the upward firing speakers with better drivers or woofers.. the 1st Legion Go speakers were utter garbage. Don't fuk this up Lenovo!
SteamOS unfortunately doesn’t play nice with COD because of the anti-cheat. Maybe one day! But… not at the moment unfortunately. Thanks for watching! 😊
I love the ease of use that comes with SteamOS but leaving behind the versatility (and comfort) of windows can be hard! Also GamePass not being available through SteamOS unless you’re cloud gaming is definitely something to consider! Thanks for watching! 😊
Hot take : Legion Go S is going to sell faster than Steam Deck over the same period of time 🤔

The steam os version will sell incredibly well. I almost wonder if the windows version sells a single unit.

@@ScatteredBraindo you think it will be possible to install windows dual boot to the steam os model
@ don’t see why not! We’ll have to see how all the boot loader stuff works but I’d guess it’ll be able to!
I see that both the windows and steam is will have the same hardware specs on their site and on review sites.
Best Buy’s pre order that’s live now shows a different chipset 🤔
If steam os is better than bazzite I'm excited. But I'm excited by the $100 cheaper price of the steam OS version as well.

I'm more interested in SteamOS 3 than the handheld devices. Especially how Microsoft is screwing up Windows with their updates.
Don’t even get me started on windows 😂😂
Thanks for watching!
The question is...are you getting one? 👀
Got one on pre order, and I’ll be there day 1 for SteamOS x Lenovo!
@ScatteredBrain let's go! Hype!
Does anyone know if they’re going to release a higher spec variation of the SteamOS version?

@ Do you know which chip is more powerful the Z2 Go or the Z1 Extreme?
@@Woozie350 nah benchmarks and specs aren’t clear at this point. Hopefully we will get a better idea when that Best Buy model gets released!

ill most likely get the windows version and dual boot.
Dual booting is amazing and my preference on the ASUS ROG Ally X!
Thanks for watching 😊
And then there is me who’s gonna buy the top spec one and install steam os 😂😂😂😂
OHHHH YEA. YOU KNOW IT! 🔌 ⚡️
That’s actually a really good idea
I will waiting you Compare legion go s with Ally X and legion go
That’s the plan! Thanks for watching! 😊

The S has front firing speakers!! I think they’ll do us right this time 🤞🏻!

The Legion Go S with Steam, can it play play COD online?

@@ScatteredBrain Thank you for responding :) Will go for the Windows version instead.
Even Lenovo doesn't activate Windows.
😅😅😅
I just hope they completely overhaul legion space… because it sucks
I think based on what I saw, it looks like it’s at least going to get some UI upgrades, thankfully. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for watching! 😊
I prefer windows, more functions.
