Appearance is one of my priority when choosing any handheld device. I don't mind having to to take a grip along and put it on when using the device. The pleasing aesthetic makes me want to pick it up to game more.

Are you at all into modding devices? Smth like the miyoo mini with a ridiculously expensive metal case upgrade looks so good. Might help you get the looks that make you play and the hardware to be able to do anything

I have the mini as well. Imo the mini is only for people where pocketability and small size is the most important thing to you.
Otherwise if you're not planning to pocket carry the device everywhere. I would suggest grabbing the retroid pocket 5 for $20 more
Me personally lives in a city where I ride aot of public trans and ubers. I love the mini because I can hold it in my front pocket.
It's basically like carrying 2 galaxy s24s in there. It basically goes everywhere with me right now
