When we first arrived to New Zealand, we spent a couple of days in Wellington and discovered this amazing Indian Restaurant. We always go back now when we visit Wellington, and decided to interview the owner about his restaurant.

Hello, I stumbled across a TH-cam video you guys made on “ItsaDrama” regarding your move to NZ from the US. My wife and I also followed a similar path and moved from the US to NZ back in 2009, became residents and now are NZ citizens. Coincidently, my wife is also a Mental Health Nurse. We have lived all over NZ, but most recently in the Marlborough area. However, we are going to be moving your direction (Southland) at the end of this month due to a job opportunity. Anyways, just wanted to say hello. @tj.howell67

You guys are totally hilarious!! You are reinforcing my decision to move back to NZ after spending 33 years in the US. I must say that my cats were rather alarmed at my bursting into uncontrollable laughter. Congratulations on getting your residency! You will be much appreciated by the average Kiwi... goodonya! Cheers Les

Seriously, I love you guys and I'm glad you have been having a good time. BTW. Talk to tech and we have a MASSIVE coding opportunity if you talk to the right folk. This town is lovely and I'm only new as well so I know the feeling. (I'm literally only a couple years as well but the people are wonderful). PS Kindergarten Method? You are funny. People here are not backward about being forward. Congrats on the house BTW.

Welcome back, YES! Is been ages. Congratulations on both your residency and the house. Hubby and l had the same feeling as you guys when we walked up to our last house. When you know you know. Sad to hear your fur baby is depressed. I love greyhounds, however hubby is not an animal person, so l let his choose our current dog. Our pup would love a brother or sister to play with and keep him company when we are busy. Looking forward to been introduced to your next dog.

Yes, Keeping up with the Jones's is a thing. About keeping up with your neighbor's materialism. I like the idea or relocating to NZ. Just me and the pup and I work in healthcare too. But my parents, my nephew...I'd never see them. Not that I'm close now as they are on the east coast and I'm on the west coast. And I have little desire to live in NJ/PA/NY areas again. So I'm torn, if you haven't noticed. And my profession is on the TIER 1 list, too.

I last saw you when you had not long moved here and Brian was not making friends easy and I just wanted to give him a hug and tell everyone down there to make friends. NOW he looks so relaxed and happy. Both of you are now so kiwi it’s great. ❤❤ Hi from Tauranga/ Papamoa. North island. 🥰

It's so good to see more content from the both of you! I'm still a part of Liz and Brian's slack group, I just don't post much because I don't have much to report. I'm still in KY and I'm still trying to figure out how to become a more appealing candidate for teaching jobs in NZ. It's so nice to get online and see how the move has worked out positively for you (and others). It gives me hope that I'll be able to get there someday and also be happy. Maybe I'll get to meet you two when I go. Question: How is the golfing down there? Dunedin is so far south I wasn't sure if it would be as popular as, say, golfing on the North Island. Anyway, can't wait for any other subsequent videos from you! And congrats on your house and gaining residency!

Kia ora! I have just discovered your channel and you fellas and your greyhound (?) are awesome! I hope you score a good mate for him/her. I am a 69 year old Kiwi widow and have lived in Queensland, Australia for over 30 years. I am homesick all the time for NZ as it was before I left. I have only been to Dunners by train from Auckland then by bus to Queenstown once to visit friends. You are such a neat couple (do Kiwis still say "neat") ? Good for you moving to a smaller city! I hope you enjoy seeing more of Aotearoa. I hope you watch/listen to some classic Kiwi movies and music. Have you seen "Hunt for the Wilderpeople", "Boy", "Whalerider" and many more!! Taika Waititi has certainly climbed the showbiz ladder since then! I look forward to watching your earlier vids. Spot ya later👍 Jo

Kiwi in British Columbia here and not going back anytime soon. Your Kiwi viewers typically would say back to me, “we don’t want you back” 🙄 - they tend to be like that. Anyway, the typical kiwi accent is definitely ‘unique’ with all those short vowels “Yis” Is only one of them. Don’t believe what they say - there have been some very heinous crimes committed against innocent people in NZ over the years and the perpetrators are treated like victims themselves. Canada is not much better, but in the US life actually means life and 30 years without parole means just that. And for NZ to have an unarmed police force is quite frankly absurd let alone unarmed services like Brinks or Chubb etc.
