The detailed list at the end was super helpful. Thanks! My husband, my kids, and I are hoping to get over once the borders open. So maybe another year? Things might change by then, but all the info in your videos has been very helpful.
Hi guys, from your last video, I would recommend the U.S travellers NOT bring electronic devices especially if you pay the expense of shipping as New Zealand has a different voltage to the U.S as it will blow your device unless you use a voltage regulator. Welcome again.
Just subscribed from "Its a drama" podcast cast...Haha! Just f...listen part?..I'm hooked!. 😳🤣🤣 Back in the early 90s when I first met Americans migrants in NZ, moreso in the Northland area..I thought of them as arrogant, loud, and brash...My first thoughts were, how dare you come with your arrogance and think you own the joint... You can hear them behind you, piss and moan at the check out que at the local supermarket....and that's just one example. But now, its an invasion of Americans, I'm following a few Americans on YT who are grateful just to be there. I Hope you guys enjoy your journey, and all the best for your new life in NZ, you will not be disappointed, if you just slow down, and keep up with Island life. From an expat Kiwi from Auckland living in Brizzy Australia. Its great to see how other people from another country see your "li'l ol NZ" Ps. Check out Kiwiamericans, they have lived in NZ for over 12 years. They live in Wellington, Tara's a teacher, and her phantom husband who doesn't like cameras is also a tech guy. She will school you on everything kiwi, be it kiwi slang, coffee, food, things to do, visit, and so forth... and by the way, Starbucks sucks!...we have them here in Oz..( had to put in my 10 cents worth)🙈🙉🙊 Enjoy.
Thanks for subscribing! I can relate to the view of Americans, I actually at first hesitated to tell people where I was from because of that. I think though, that Americans moving here tend to be the kind I like. Most of us, like you said, are just really grateful to be here. I have watched Kiwiamericans on youtube, great content, and they seem like fun people to hang out with. So far we do love NZ and being able to slow down. We have a lot of videos planned where we start to discuss differences in living here, both good and bad (mostly good).
You don't need them when applying to a visa for less than 6 months (CPVV), but do need them for work visas and residency visas. Some people wait to do it when they get to NZ because its cheaper and possibly easier, but we wanted to know we had passed before moving over
Wait till you see the traffic in Dunedin,I once had 3 cars ahead of me at the lights, its just awful!
lol!! It's the crazy hilly streets here that keep throwing us for a loop!
Haha! Love to put that Rrrr sound to haha, but wouldn't sound right..🤔😳🤣🤣

That's great to hear! If you have any questions as the time gets closer, feel free to reach out. Hope that you don't have to wait too long.
I think by now,you would have found out, most hospitals charge for parking, even in good old NZ, can't escape it.
You will get over your Starbucks addiction. New Zealand cafes and coffee is awesome.
Haven’t been to a Starbucks since arriving, no need to as the coffee here is soooo good!!

Great advice, we knew that and didn't bring anything over, but we did forget to mention it. Thanks for watching!
Hope your lives here live up to your dreams. Nau mai.
Thank you! As do we :)

When do you receive the Emedical reference code?
Any issues if prediabetes ?
Is there any physical examination ? Body scars issue ?
Can I know what do they check on the blood test please?
I thought you had to do medical exams before leaving the US? That’s what my immigration advisor told me I had to do.
