    Links to some of the places mentioned in this video can be found below. If you are in Dunedin, please consider supporting these places, as they have been hit hard by covid and less tourists. The work they do is amazing, and so needed. You cannot normally visit the Wildlife Hospital, but you can donate online to them.

    Nicely put together video... well done.
    We walk Rimu (our wee Jack Russell) along John Wilson Drive every weekend in the morning and sometimes in the afternoon as well... We like going really early in the morning and watching the the sunrise and Rimu gets to chase some rabbits.
    Have you been to the Glow worms here in Dunedin... (they are free)

    I actually loved that as you can forget when you live in the place just how gorgeous it can be. I always love the view of Dunedin when you come in from the Kilmog and see the whole city laid out before you in all its glory. Glad you are still loving it.

      It really is a beautiful city, sometimes we forget as well and then once we are out in nature more, we are reminded

    As person who was raised from 3 to 19 in Dunedin before heading away to the big smoke of Wellington I love that you managed to fit all those places in. There are so many from Dunedin that take it for granted. As a teenager (1970's) a family friend came to Dunedin to stay with us for school holidays and had a list of things she wanted to do. About half of them I had never done including places in my suburb which I passed every week and never went in to. That changed my outlook to one of "I am going to ride up every street in Dunedin and check out what was there on my motorbike at 15" You mission for the next year is to discover all the small parks and gardens in Dunedin.

      That is a great mission. There are still so many places on my list, including some iconic Dunedin spots we still haven't done yet.

    Goodness me, your reflections and travel shots are great. Done quite a bit!. Must have been such a big transformation from there to here, (and especially during the ssshh, Covid years). My how that’s been such a big adjustment. Pat yourselves on the back, you deserve it. That dog loves you, shows what you both give her.

    Kia ora - What a Fantastic video 🙂 - Kia ora translates literally as "have life" or "be healthy", wishing the essence of life upon them

    You've got to be pretty mean to watch that & not give it a thumbs up. You guys have obviously seen a lot of the southern half of the south, any plans for the northern end? Marlborough Sounds or Abel Tasman? I can just see Brian on a boat - you've got the pirate look down.
    Here's to an even better 2nd year

      Lots of places we hope to get to soon, Abel Tasman is high on the list, Arthurs Pass, Roys Peak, the list goes on. So many amazing spots to visit!

    Pretty awesome scenery, Dunedin's okay👍
    But really, how many outfits does a dog need🙄

    • @ZoomiesAbroad
      @ZoomiesAbroad  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The best part about owning a greyhound is dressing it! To be fair, they do get cold rather easily due to their thin skin and having less fur, but we also do love buying her outfits. She is by far the most fashionable of the three of us
