ok, so when its plugged in, the mic is connected via XLR, and you talk into the mic, do you see the voice meter on the first fader move with your voice? if so, make sure you have the audio device selected in windows, on windows 11, right click the volume icon in the system tray and click open volume mixer and for input device make sure its set to the maono usb interface. then it should work fine

haha, the freebird is ok, the groomie baldiepro is another level. especially when you use their products too, i've been using their pre and post shave stuff and its so, so nice lol

you'll get an overall better sound with the xm5's based on their driver size, if money and mobility aren't an issue, xm5 for sure.

if you use the included usb a to c cable that would be best, but pretty much any usb A to C should work fine, make sure you power on the OP3, then plug the cable in, otherwise it just defaults to charging mode.

your videos shouldn't have any watermark when you transfer via USB, that only happens when you do it via the mimo app. Any USB C to USB A/C will work, the usb C goes into the osmo, the usb A or C end goes into a pc. The process is plug the cable into the PC, flip the osmo on, plug the cable from the pc in to the osmo, select file transfer mode on the osmo within 5 seconds and your ready to drag and drop files if its just charging after you plug the cable in, i would try a different cable and a different usb port on the pc, you'll know its working when you plug the cable in and the menu pops up on the osmo screen to do either file transfer mode or webcam mode

gotcha, so it must have been a file you edited on the mimo app, which saves to the osmo, and you've transferred that file over from the osmo. You can turn the watermark off, if you go into the mimo app > privacy theres a toggle for it in there. For the files that have the watermark currently, I dont think you can remove them, your only chance would be to be to find the original file you edited or saved via the mimo app pre watermark, if it exsists it will be in the dji folder when you plug it in, im not sure if the mimo creates a copy of the edited file, or edits the main file directly, i've never used it.

that should fit fine! the hx-s has more room due to fully removable compartment, so you could make it much larger internally, essentially the full width of the bag!

The best part about the HX-s is the ability to completely remove one side of the customization panels which will give approx 8.5"! its super flexible and well made. good luck mate!

theres a bit more nuance to AI over other industrial and revolutioary advancements. I think the BIG part of this current storyline is where we currently are as a society. (hypercapitilism) AI is being developed by 4 of the biggest mega corps the planet has ever seen, with 1 singular goal, these megacorps only care about one thing, profits. AI isn't being developed for the good of the people, to help people, to assist humans, to solve hunger or cure disease. AI is being developed by 4 big tech companies to make even more trillions for their shareholders. AI is being specifically developed to lower corporations biggest cost, labor. why pay a human $16 an hour to answer a phone, respond to an email, design a graphic, edit a video when you can get the same, actually better service from AI for about $1/hour computing power. Steam engines, combustion engines, lightbulbs, personal computers, all inventions that improved society, solved a problem, made us stronger, smarter, more efficient. AI? literally designed at its core to replace us, by people who are very, very money and profit motivated.

Hey thank you so so much!! I put a lot of effort into my stuff and its because of these comments, I keep going!! I unfortunately don't have any fduce mic's (yet) but i do have the similarly priced and spec maono pd100x on the way to me for review, that video I will be giving away a maonocaster g1 neo interface they gave me extra so stay tuned for that one! the fifine am8 is a proper good mic for the money though, highly recommend it over anything I've tried to date in its price range.

they probably have some kind of EQ/filters going on to get that studio sound, raw voice audio from most usb mics is usually pretty hot garbage, however, the k688 is a dynamic mic, so you really need to be taking super close, 2-4 inches max. if your doing that and it still sounds tinny, go into obs and play around with the filters, add an EQ and bump up the low end, see if that helps. i forgot to mention, even if they say they arent using any filters, that does't mean they aren't editing the audio in post. I have the shure mv7x, even in XLR mode without processing m voice sounds pretty ass in it, my rodecaster interface does some heavy lifting to get it to sound as good as it does, it adds: compressor, expander, limiter, noisegate, EQ, low pass, then the built in effects to make it sounds more "professional" if i just tak into it without any processing, its bland, echoy, reverby, a bit thin, and just not usable in most situations unless a discord call or something IDRC about lol

@@YoukayTV yas i did mess with obs filter, i have all the basic filter like suppression and etc. when i mess with eq i still sound bad, even worse... I bump the low end and its still sound not as good as youtubers... I dont know how they make it sound so crisp... I watched many videos about dynamic mics and how to use them... I found no eq sounds best for me xd

are you sure your not being super self critical of your own voice? if you've followed tutorials and it still sounds tinny to you, or not as rich / broadcaster-y, you're either following wrong tutorials, or being a bit too harsh on the sound of your own voice. I'm headed to bed, but if you record a quick sample and send it to my email address listed in my channel about me, I can maybe give you so advice in the morning and see if we can figure it out :)

only record in dlog if you intend to do color correction / use luts in post production, otherwise, the standard color mode on the OP3 does a really great job!

@@YoukayTV yes, I have plans to colour correct/grade in ae + topaz so found out that keeping it in d-log 10 bit when uploading is the way to go, also thank you for showing me the usb-c function, much easier to transfer then over the phone, will be subbing! Thank you

awesome, glad to help and thanks so much for the sub! I fully intended to color grade when I got this camera, but everything I've shot so far with the standard color profile has looked super good to my eyes, I've seen some truly cinematic corrections and luts here on YT though, if you know what your doing in that regard you can make it look absurdly good!

The mics on the op3 are shockingly good to be honest, but if your doing a lot of talking, or want to me a few feet away from the camera, the mic2 is the best option, there are cheaper Bluetooth mics out there but for ease of use and having full control via the op3, I’d recommend grabbing one for sure.

I’ve used the wide angle lens a couple of times and it’s come in handy! Just make sure you always have a cloth to wipe off finger prints, they are tiny and fiddly lol

Love to hear this mike! it is a wonderful product but a small correction from my initial review, you will need to replace the blades every so often. I didn't think this would be the case for foil blades, but due to the power and the mechanism they do need switching out after about 60-80 full head shaves, The cheapest option to do this is via a groomie blade subscription, however they can be bought individually from amazon on demand!

@@YoukayTV I was telling my wife just last night about needing new blades. I only shave my head every three days which is just 10 times a month so I won't be ready for new blades until hopefully December, lol.
