I want to live stream on Twitch while fishing. I will use my mobile phone's internet. Do you recommend it or should I get a different device? I don't want to use my phone, I want to get a better quality image.
Great video brother appreciate you im up and running but i am getting a lot of freezing on the webcam? Any suggestion's on obs settings that might cause this
are you using a decent usb c cable and plugged into a usb 3 port? it should be pretty much plug and play for 1080p, if you check that first and its still freezing, try turning active track off, I've heard that can cause issues in webcam mode with the latest firmware, if none of that works, try temp changing the rez down to 720p to test, in the video capture device > properties menu, or go into the main obs settings (file > settings > output submenu > recording and make sure your using the appropriate codec for your pc!
@YoukayTV I just subscribed I really appreciate your time and help on this. It might be due to the tracking. I'll try your suggestions tomorrow and update you on what works. I wish there was a way to live stream without the wire. If I'm filming in front of a desk then the wire usbc is perfectly fine. However I'm now filming walking around about 10 ft from the desk and requires a lot of zooming in. So walking around with a 14ft usbc plugged in seems odd. You would think this camera would film live wireless for a live stream? Again thanks brother.
Appreciate the sub bro! Yea I’m surprised it’s not doable via the mimo app to be honest, knowing dji it may come in a firmware update though, it makes sense! No worries, I’m always around, lmk how you get on and if I can help 🤜
@@YoukayTV i came across this video today and wanted to know your thoughts on this. The video is titled USB UVC webcam to HDMI works with DJI Osmo Pocket 3. Basically it converts from USB to HDMI. What exactly would this conversion allow by doing this? I personally do not understand what the difference is or what we might be able to do with this option? The guy who made the video seems very knowledgably. Just search the title of the video his channel name is Emerald Audiovisual

I am enjoying your content but you need to change the gain on the dji mic I think. On this video in the starting scene with you dog I noticed a lot of clipping audio. In the scene with you computer monitor the audio was much better in the fact that the audio was not clipping. Keep making the content.
thanks so much christopher, It's funny you mention this, I've spent the last 3 days deep diving into my dji mic 2 audio, i was monitoring everything through my desktop speakers, i went back and listened to some of my dji footage through some high end headphones and the dji mic 2 audio is all over the place, a lot has to do with how I'm dealing with it in post, but there's something funky going on with the levels and not being able to normalize it to a reasonable audio level. I have a video on it coming soon!
@@YoukayTVHello! I recently updated my Osmo Pocket 3’s software through the Mimo app, and the logs mentioned that the webcam mode can now be used with 4K. I tested it in OBS and it does work, but you have to change it on OBS itself. The active track doesn’t work in 4k though.
Interesting! i'll have to play around with it tomorrow, 4k webcams aren't cheap, so thats a pretty massive value add to an already feature packed little camera!! Thanks so much for the heads up! 🫶
no but this could be a number of things, are you getting a picture from it in obs, and its just freezing the app? or is the whole camera locking up and needing shutting off? Try a different usb cable, and a different USB port. if its working, then crashing it could be a number of things, but i'd start by ruling the cable and ports out first!
@@YoukayTV Yes, I get the picture in obs for about 10 seconds then it freezes. I deactivate and activate again, same thing. Ok, i'll try a new cable. Thanks
hmm, odd, you could try and right click on the source > video capture device in obs, go to transform, then rotate 90 degrees in the direction it needs to be, then check the resolution its outputting?
You sir just changed the game for my live content. WOW
Awesome! Glad to hear it!! 🫶
Can you control gimbal via OBS somehow? DJI mimo cannot be connected to an Osmo 3 in webcam mode.. hmm. Maybe some plugin for OBS?
that would be awesome! yea I haven't found a way yet

it would work fine, you would just need really good internet connection for higher bitrate streaming fori image quality.

I hooked mine up, but for some reason it just freezes after 10-15 seconds. Has this happened to you?

When I connected my Pocket 3 to OBS it defaulted to a portrait mode. How do I get it to Landscape mode in OBS?

@@YoukayTV went into properties and selected the High preset vs a dimensions one, and it seems to scale correctly.
awesome, glad it worked out!!
Thank you for the wonderful tutorial!
