I haven’t been watching for long at all just subscribed but I’d like if sometimes you show the audio from microphones such as the am8 (i came from) with the usb mic AND the xlr cause me I use laptop and xlr isn’t an option and if your not I recommend not using any other things the reduce background audio(idk if u r) loving everything else tho good luck
thanks so much for the feedback! yea, im slipping with the usb/xlr combo mics not giving the USB sound tests, I think the vast majority that buy these types of mics use the mostly in xlr mode since there's better, and usually cheaper USB only options out there. I'll do a better job moving forward showcasing combo mics better especially in usb mode! for my own setup i run everything through my rodecaster duo, it handles the noise reduction and processing via xlr for me :)
@@YoukayTV that's nonsense, if it's on your chest it's not in front of you but below also picking up the resonance of your body which has a huge impact on the sound, therefore your sound test is useless. Also your shure sounds terribly muffled, which just proves how much you obviously know about good audio, or not...rubbish newby wannabe influencer review. I'm 100% sure you never actually used it as intended, absolutely ingenuine "review", shame on you
Thanks for your feedback, sorry you felt that the review of a $55 lav mic kit was sub par, the intended audience for these types of products, and especially this (the cheapest, most entry level product in its category by a country mile) aren't really looking for audiophile level reviews, and they probably don't exist. "do they sound ok for fifty bucks" is the question, and yes, they do, they perform exceptionally well for that price, regarding my shure setup, I'm in a 1000sqft open space with 30ft ceilings and it requires a lot of processing to get rid of the reverb, noise and everything else that goes along with that, usable clean audio in this space regardless of what mic setup I use is near impossible, i just do my best. Not sure how I came across as a wannabe influencer, most of the stuff I review is super budget thats available to anyone looking to get started, and just opinions based on usage, I don't do measurements, I don't hide the bad stuff when its present (like the noise canceling on this set) I just do this as a hobby and interact with my small subscriber base when they have questions on the videos. Appreciate you taking the time to call me out though, if I do any more super budget stuff i'll be sure to demonstrate the positioning and usage of the product better.
