it's what happens when we outsource all the manufacturing and push all the talent away. absolute clownshow, falling behind in tech, manufacturing, talent, you name it!
It past one chamber of Congress and now it needs to go to the next. They will try to add or change language more than likely and then have to send it back. Once they both agree, they send it to the President's desk for signature. However, I'm sure DGI will take the US government to court and tie this thing up with a temporary stay while it goes to the Supreme Court. All that being said, it won't Ben the total Salem DJI products for 5 years. It will just add increasingly expensive tariff starting next year and every year for 5 years. In that time, DJI could sell there interest to a US-based firm or change their data collection this whole thing goes away. Either way, very anti-American in the way we cherish the free market. We won't let competition help with innovation by making a better product or at least an equal one. Instead we'll force the end of the consumer drone market which may be their plan anyway.

Sucks that other countries are leading i innovation, tech and manufacturing, we gotta get things going again here soon or there will be a massive talent vacuum who will end up going and working for these companies in a foreign country
