Right, i was pretty afraid going 25mph on it and the steering fully locking up on me, glad it was easy to deal with and didn't murder me along the way lol!!!
@@ericthelambo3213I never replaced that screw when it fell out. Do you know why it’s needed? I replaced a new kit sent from kukurin for my steering and broke my steering bearings also. Do you know where I can purchase steering bearings replacements??? Any help of info is needed!! Thanks a lot!!
@@ericthelambo3213 To everyone who has this problem: before buying a new screw, turn the scooter upside down and use a wire to reach inside. Wiggle it around a bit until it comes out. You’ll need to play around with it and have some patience.
understandable, thats the biggest issue with Chinese scooter brands though, the return process can be so infuriating and time consuming, you get what you pay for and this was super cheap for the spec.
That design is junk. My steering tension will no longer tighten up at all, so now I have an unrideable scooter that I need to fab a block on so I can put a traditional damper on.
same thing happened to me fixed it myself was pretty easy
Glad ya got it sorted, sloppy though it shouldn’t still be shipping like that, super dangerous if you don’t fix it!
That's a very easy fix, I use the same to fix my creaky car doors and garage doors 😁

Exactly what I did in mine, except was other kind of wd 40 specialist grease (green letters)
as long as it wasent the regular wd 40 which is a degreaser, yuor good to go, mines still going strong after the fix
Do you know the size of the screw by the side ? I unscrewed it totally and it fell inside 😢
happens a lot! i believe its 3mm
Should be fine happend to me I went to the local hardware store and got an new bolt your perfectly fine

So let me get this straight. When I unbox my kukirin g4, the first thing i do is spray WD-40 on it?
it may have been fixed from the factory by now, but if you have overly stiff and clicky steering out of the box, yep, WD 40 lithum fixes it.
Just got mine a few hours ago and I needed to spray lithium grease as shown in the video to get ride of the clicking and sticking.
What wrench size to use?
allen key? think it was 11mm
@ i think ive heard 10mm
Le Kukirin G4 est-il étanche sous la pluie ?
Not waterproof, light splash should be ok, but no riding it in the rain!
Sorry would be going right back. I do not buy scooters to fix them right out of box. Just will not do it.
