I've lived near Bulwell for over 20 years but I've only been to Bulwell Hall once. The stable block is quite interesting but I've generally preferred Bestwood Country Park with the old mineworkings and some pretty amazing views

Hi Lilu, amazing quality filming...you definitely have the gift. When you faced the water flowing over the path I was shouting at the screen...."go high!!!" I nearly slipped off going in the opposite and turned back. I've seen other hikers' videos traversing it when it has frozen over...I've no idea how they survived to post the video!. You have picked a wonderful area to hike, there are so many great peaks affording a sunset view of the estuary. P.S. much safer routes too:)

It's probably muscular not a trapped nerve. I have a similar condition. Stretching throughout the day will help.

I've been staying Haverhill in Suffolk for the past few months while I'm working away. Everywhere you turn they are building estates of boxes, tiny houses with absolutely no character or charm. I'm all for building more houses, but they could at least make them look inviting and individual.

The trees with white bark are Silver Birch tree, I think.

Why dont you make scout into a car camper set it all up so when it life gets you down you can just jumped into scout as ull have every think ready to go even if its just a day & night out

Golf is a nice long walk spoiled by a little white ball! As , truck driver I realized that if you're going to sit all day you'll need to walk for at least 25% of the time you sit for every day. Which wasn't too hard for me as I had my dog with me, he needed 2-4 hrs exercise per day too.

I lost an entire expedition in the Antarctic. As for that Captain Oates I thought he would never go. I admire you Ms Lilu, obviously from some considerable distance.
