I've lived near Bulwell for over 20 years but I've only been to Bulwell Hall once. The stable block is quite interesting but I've generally preferred Bestwood Country Park with the old mineworkings and some pretty amazing views
Golf is a nice long walk spoiled by a little white ball! As , truck driver I realized that if you're going to sit all day you'll need to walk for at least 25% of the time you sit for every day. Which wasn't too hard for me as I had my dog with me, he needed 2-4 hrs exercise per day too.
Enjoyable video. The scenery is beautiful. Those drone shots of the stable block, combined with your choice of music, are brilliant. Sorry to hear about your back. I sympathise and hope it gets completely better soon. Cheers
Hope your back pan eases up soon Lilu - I feel your pain having had a "slipped disc" resulting in a trapped sciatic nerve tears ago ! Love this video with the lovely colours and the sound of the leaves underfoot . Keep them coming !!
Hope You get better bit by bit Lilu my back and lasfew yrs legs are poor. I carry only 1bag Beautiful Nature oh d dreariness of November During d morning nafternoon May Gd Bless u
I love living in Oz with the warm days and large areas of bushland to explore, but there is something very special about England in Autumn. I hope your back comes good soon. Lovely video as always
Hello Lilu. That was beautiful. Music and the colours. Sorry to hear your back is not good. What a beautiful old building. Nature is claiming it back now. Beautiful drone images of it. Good golf ball finding. Rest and get better💚👋
Beautiful Autumn woodland , shame about the buildings ,they still have a charm though. I have back pain sometimes , getting a back stretcher has been a life saver this year , best £10 I've spent on Amazon , I use it a couple of times a day when my back plays up. Best wishes take care 🦇🦇🖤🖤
Lovely video and sound track. Love this time of year🤗. Somewhat random, back pain you describe, reminded me of couple of years back. Turned out to be shingles. If you've had chicken pox in the past, check your back for a rash. Likely not but Hay ho. ATB, get well soon. Dave and tribe 👍
Oh thankfully not shingles..its literally from being to sedentary. After this walk it eased off Exercise is key lol. I'm heading up to the Peak District next week for a loooong walk as can feel the pain coming back...
I've been staying Haverhill in Suffolk for the past few months while I'm working away. Everywhere you turn they are building estates of boxes, tiny houses with absolutely no character or charm. I'm all for building more houses, but they could at least make them look inviting and individual.
@AdventuresWithLilu I went up to the Hall and gave em sh-t, said I've spent money to park within these grounds and a security person on site would be a deterrent, was 3 quid ish when I paid, never took me car again
Another charming video. That's part of a walk I do across the fields (and M1) from Kimberley. I was grateful for the drone shots of the stableblocks as, like you, I've only ever seen them through the fence. Hopefully your back will get sorted soon.
I just need to move more lol got into a bad habit of watching tv at night after sitting in a car all day. Using a step counter now to motivate me lol there was a gap in the fence I was so tempted to squeeze through and take a closer look. I love ruins
I bought a fitness watch for exactly the same reason as I'd also gotten into bad habits! And it worked for me so hopefully it'll work for you. Have you tried gentle stretching exercises for your back? They can be useful if you have lumbar problems although you sound as if you have a trapped nerve higher up the spine which might be caused by slightly twisting in your car seat to observe pupils? I hope you get it sorted soon as constant pain is exhausting. Take care. x
Love it when the stables were like a small mansion for horses 😊 Are there any old Victorian? Model Farms in the area I wonder - it had that kind of vibe. Could you get an orthopaedic car seat, I wonder, Lilu ? I used to have Recaro seats, which were superb. NHS physio is good, if you can get it.
I think I just Nedd to drink more, move more...feel bit better today but trying to make the effort to space lessons pit so I can walk round a bit Thanks for watching today 😊
Hiya lilu hope your well and Merry Christmas. Check out what Santa brought me and here’s to wild camping 2025 thanks Richard. Keep up the great work 🏕️🎄🥂
Not heard of this before, not far Woolaton park myself, will have to explore if its dog friendly, look gorgeous. Yes building everywhere and more restrictions on places i have walked for half a century, suddenly restricted access?
Stretching caused it to get really bad. It defo was muscular so I tried stretching, and something went ping! Then it was excruciating pain for 48 hours...definitely trapped something But it's eased pff now... I just need to walk more I think and keep moving
Wow. 1 year doing your driving instructing. Where did that time go? Well done on your new career. When my back gets unmanageable I find using my kick board in a heated pool seems to help. Something about being weightless and horizontal in the water and getting gentle movement through my hips and lower back seems to put things back in alignment, eventually. Are you getting alot of pain down your legs, particularly the leg you use to brake with when instructing your students?
Iv found its tight muscular pain on my right side middle back. Not going into legs like sciatica no. If I go for a moderate walk I do find it eases...its just I don't get much opportunity when working as always zooming about. The weather has been snowy this week too. I plan to head yo the peak district next week for a good long walk as altho the pain eased I can feel it tightening again....
@ well I hope it comes good for you. Chronic pain can be a real joy dampener. The trick with it, I think, is getting just the right level of exercise/ and the right type so as you don’t over do it and it can have some therapeutic effect. The problem is we put our bodies in situations, usually for work, that they weren’t designed to be in. In my case it’s typing at a keyboard. If it’s a case of hovering your foot over the brake pedal for long periods maybe there is a modification that can be adapted to that pedal where you can hand operate it. Just a thought.
@EYEMISSSEINFELD I'm pretty chilled with my dual controls really... not over them as much as used to be with the focus. But I do think it's spending all day in the car and then sitting watching tv at night. I used to be a bus driver so I'm used to sedentary work but I was more active in spare time. Iv got lazy lol
Beautiful grounds there. Is Rood Hood a complete myth or is there any truth to the tale? Hope your back feels better but if not, maybe a doctor is in your future. Stay well and be safe.
I just need to move about more so iv taken an extra day off work for the next couple of weeks to get moving. Backs feeling better.. Robin hood was definitely real 😁
My Border Collie Princess Rosie 💗 & I would love a walk in there...
Love the video

Lovely old house, too bad it is derelict. I enjoyed the music you put with that part of the video. Beautiful autumn leaves!
Thank you very much!
The bird you saw looked like a Sparrowhawk.

Yes! Thank you!
Perfect music choice, autumn is by far my favourite time of the year. Great video. 🌬🍁
Same here! Love autumn 🍂
The trees with white bark are Silver Birch tree, I think.

Oh really? They're stunning

That's really sad..
Last time I parked in wollaton Park my car was broken into, THAT was the last time, lovely colours Lilu
Broken i to? Eek.. Extortionate parking fees always put me off.
@AdventuresWithLilu I went up to the Hall and gave em sh-t, said I've spent money to park within these grounds and a security person on site would be a deterrent, was 3 quid ish when I paid, never took me car again
Lovely autumnal images

Yes dog friendly and free parking..
Nice park to walk for a change. Hate seeing all the building work..such a shame
Hiya sounds like it might be time to think about osteopath.
Well done twelve months crumbs that’s gone quickly.
Hope the tablets work 🤞🤞🤞
12 months since I started training... I qualified in September 😁
It's probably muscular not a trapped nerve. I have a similar condition. Stretching throughout the day will help.

Pass yourself to a massage therapist tout suite. Don’t ever mess with a bad back. Trust me!
Get yourself of to a osteopath like you i spend hours sat in a vehicle . I find its the best 50 quid spent. I enjoy the video by the way
