Everything I LOVE and HATE about my Lucid Air Touring!
I leased my Lucid Air Touring 6 months ago and I've really enjoyed getting to know the car over the past 2500 miles I've driven in it. Lucid is absolutely killing it on their first ever production car- but there's a lot left to do. Today I'll dive deep and reveal the ownership experience of living with Lucid Air!

มุมมอง 18K6 หลายเดือนก่อน
2 years ago I bought my 987.2 Porsche Cayman S, and I've absolutely loved owning this car! I leased this 2021 Audi A6 nearly 3 years ago, and as my lease comes to an end it seems fitting to talk about my experience with this phenomenal car! An A6 might not be the most exciting thing on the road, but now that they can be found for less than $30,000, they might be the most slept on luxury daily driver for cheap

Here in Europe they are very popular, especially in Scandinavia. I think 55 TFSIe hybrid is the most interesting engine option. From the interior perspective I like it more than both BMW and Merc.

Thanks Luke I am a long time Tesla owner who is thinking about getting a different EV.,I love the look of the Lucid it s much better looking than an S I just wish the tech was there and I see from your review it is not 100 percent. The car looks so much better inside and out.I am in a rural area of SC I have only seen one in my area and a few in Charleston I go there every couple of weeks.I will look at a Lucid when I am ready to purchase just tired of driving what everyone else drives.

No Jack stands? Pretty risky. I had to buy a jig to drill out six of 12 header bolts since Porsche decided to use 8mm exhaust header bolts. Poor engineering. All while laying on my back. Put on a full fabspeed SS exhaust. Mine was 3.4 -996. I put 8 mm SS studs with copper nuts back on that way it’s a 50/50 one or the other will come loose if needed

I own a 2019 Audi A6 TFSI 45 in black optics package and Premium Plus. This vehicle does not share anything with the VW Passat. I just hit 50k miles. So far no issues, knock on wood. It is a nice daily driver. Elegant and very comfortable. It is a large car only a fraction shorter than my 7 seater SUV.

I leased a 2025 Touring, 36 months, $20K down, $206 per month delivered to Seattle Service Center. There are discounts! I Love the car! That said the charger that came free in the past is no longer there, but there is a free one year EV Charge. It works Great. The precharge heater is now standard and triples the charge rate. The processors have been increased and everything seems to operate efficiently like the maps and door handles when you leave the car. It talks about heated steering wheel, but that is not there. Go to Lucid and see the deals. Just beware no two cars are the same on the lot when you get to details. I noticed that the dash has been updated with a nice fabric. There is not a car on the road that is as fun to drive as my Lucid air Touring! I would say I get around 300 miles in cold weather on one charge to 85%.

Good upgrades.... I only heard one positive opinion about the standard wheel... If you almost never drive in automatic mode...and you like to operate the steering wheel with one hand only On small narrow twisty roads or on tight european roads you can shift down or up instantly with one hand only. But yes the Sportdesign wheel is my 1st choice anyway...especially if you are used to paddle shifters with left down gears and right up gears...

As a 59 year old man who has owned my share of German "engineering" I would warn anyone against "investing" in this garbage. From the plainly abusive sales practices of the dealers ("you are lucky to be buying this car from us") to the "got you by the shorthairs" parts and service departments, I finally gave up on all things German around 5 years ago. I paid cash for a Lexus es350 and will never go back. Luxury, comfort, drama-free and effortlessly smooth. At the time of the Lexus purchase I was contemplating a new BMW 5 series. Went to the local dealer who basically put on a Kabuki Theater performance with the greasy finance guy, some sort of "smoke and mirrors" three-card monte routine, similar to what the gypsies near the Eiffel tower run on tourists. Amusing, really. But such drama and time-wasting. In my 30's when I could finally buy something decent I went to the Audi store and had my pants pulled down, my time wasted, the whole 9 yds, because I thought that was the gig. Ditto Mercedes and Porsche and BMW, all of which I eventually owned. Thank god those days are behind me. For the few hours of enjoyment those cars actually provide, particularly porsche, you have to deal with more than your fair share of drama.

Due to your review and many others, and an amazing test drive, I took delivery of my 2025 Air Touring in mid December and it's awesome. It's fully loaded and after discounts, the MSRP was under $80K. With $0 down, my 36 month lease is $893/mo with 15K miles/yr. I'll probably go over that but at 25 cent/mile overage fee, it's ok. It drives better than any other car I've owned, but the UI is not as good as the iDrive in my BMWs. I did the aero cover delete on the 20" wheels and they look way better now. We'll consider the Gravity when it comes time to replace my wife's X5 in 3 years.
