Haven't carried yet but the Schrade Adder is so handy. Grippy handle. Also the Outdoor edge Le Duck is well designed. 360° spinning pocket clip. Good grip.
Just stumbled upon your channel and am now subscribed. Very first knife that came to mind would match your suit. Benchmade Snody 210 Activator with the carbon fiber and G10 scales and sharkskin sheath. So wish I would have spent the extra $ for it over my 211 wood handle.
Slipjoints we're never out of style, too many folks are just into moderns. The slipjoint market is insane constantly
I absolutely love a modern slip joint! These knives are so freaking sweet and easy to carry and keep sharp. Like the guys said not intimidating like other types of kinives and welcome in most countries. Love the video. Keep passing on the good information guys!
I only watch scream for the Buck 120, it’s my favorite character in the films
Got a gen2, love it. Dagger blade, didn't know it was in the movie!
Prices are going up on those, 119 is $75 and the 120 is over $100 now. Glad i got mine when they were $50 at walmart.
“Yeah this is a super thick, long, good piece of stock.” Yeah that’s what she said bud.
Harbor Freight sells a knockoff of the 119.... not the 120. Cool video guys !
The Buck 120 is such an underrated knife. I saw the destruction test on the 120 on Joeyx channel and that knife took such a beating and even I was surprised. I went out and bought one and it reminds me of my old Kabar, but it really is a great knife. I wish there were as many Buck 120 stories than the 119 special.
Cool knife 😊
I want a fixed blade that can out perform my folders. Most "edc" fixed blades can't touch my AD10 or my MSI. I want to see more options around the Esee 3 size.
Nitro V...14c28n those are the best budget steels
Had mine since 2006. Bought it before deploying to Iraq. Still like new besides sharpening. Love it. Hopefully the quality has stayed the same. 🤙🏼😎
Just got my hands on two Gladstone, MI made Marbles slip jonts made by Queen (Parts made by Queen. Put together in Gladstone) and OMG they are a sight to behold. I'm so glad SMKW has brought back Queen to the USA. I'd like to see more options right now though.
I EDC mine 😅
I share your opinion of Buck 420HC. That said, I recently picked up a Buck 264 Cavalier with 7Cr17 steel. It seems alright, but I'm not the greatest at sharpening and I'm not a knife expert, by any means. I'm very interested in what you think of that steel-- is it "acceptable?" Is it "crap steel?" Or what? Subbed
Usually 7cr isn't the best steel by any means, but buck has some of the best heat treatment in the business,so it should stay sharp for a pretty good while.
@@user-ti1cm1ky8t Thank you
Thank you
Underrated
👌
I’d like to buy a carbon steel large copperlock knife. I don’t think they exist do they? I don’t care for stainless steel pocket knives.
I don’t think I can even finish this one! God she’s terrible to listen to.
Man I’ve had the camo one in my cart for a while now lol but I just bought a Reate exo as well as the new Maxace capsule. Is it worth it?
Dont be so sure the satin finish was used in the movie, according to a post about a prop manager the ultratech and troodon used in the movie were stonewashed.
Edc American law man for 3 years ..solid. cut paper to gut deer does it all.
About the knife, the problem is the slippery handle. So I wrapped the black part of the handle in black grip tape. Still looks good.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news, they come out of the box with bearings. I personally don’t mind the bearings. I also like how they give you the option to swap out with washers.
Music was a great touch at the end ❤
Cross carry a small patch knife to compliment my pocket knife & .357.
i always wondered if the buck 120 is better then the bayonet m9
Tip down only? Deal breaker
Good review. Thx boys.
Slip joints are coming back because of the law especially here in the uk ! You need to say that….😂
Thanks for the video. I got the General Pro upgraded version.
Someone should contact Buck Knives to find out how many hundreds of thousands of extra Buck 120 knives were sold during the Scream movie series era.
I love my various Victorinox or Wenger Swiss army knives. They sharpen up to razor sharp.
I edc my Enzo/Brisa Elver and recently the Condor Trivitatta puukko and / or the Tops Tanimboca Puukko on my hip. They are right around 3 inches, too, a hair above and...I don't care about the "scary" factor. It used to be totally normal in the 80s for a man to wear a fixed blade belt knife....The sissification of this current generation is over the top. They are slowly turning America into the U.K . , those poor saps can't even carry fixed blades nor folders over 2 inches. Yet in certain areas, their police won't go , cause some folks there like chopping heads off with machetes. Upside-down world
I decided to go with the clip point marble carbon fiber scales, with m390 blade, just bc of ease of sharpening. Hawkbill's a more difficult to re-sharpen, so I just went with the easy option. Paid 80$ bucks for it on Black Friday from Blade HQ
I've recently got into the EDC/knife carry world. I bought a few "modern" knives but have just come back to the slipjoint. I like it because it's non-threathening and it reminds me of my dad and grandpa. Just picked up an old Case amber jigged bone stockman from Ebay that looks exactly like my dad's.
Still have it? You need a DLC version. I´ll buy this one from you....
UK can only have slip joints as any type of lock is illegal
Depends.
Nice review.
Great review, just ordered one
Love it
That was a refreshingly detailed and entertaining review. Thank you.
The 120 is called the General land it's $104.99 from Buck
It’s a taco not a pancake
Washington state has an obscure law on the books prohibiting concealed carry of a dirk or other fixed blade knife. Folding is OK but fixed blade must be openly carried. I feel like testing that by carrying my Marine KaBar on my belt while waking in front of the police station.
Beautiful knife...lucky dude
GREAT KNIFE. BEEN USING MINE FOR 4 YEARS. GOT IT WHEN IT WAS $300 ONLY 🤣 NOW IT'S $500ISH 😮💨
