Ran across this knife and Pri-Tech for the first time today. I have 3 90s Benchmade CQC-7 with the ATS34 blade and linen micarta scales. I currently carry Kershaw Emerson CQC-7 (¹/¹⁰ the price today) as my EDC. It's the only blade design Ive carried the past 27 years. Kind of a Fudd on that, I guess. Dude pulled of clicked open his and I immediately recognized the blade, but the rest was alien to me. Gotta say, I'm not a fan of any blade with a slick grip, particularly without a guard or milled point to the index finger to anchor. Nice review. Liked and subscribed. However, this particular item doesn't work for my Fuddness without something to prevent my needing hand surgery if used and designed and intended.
Yeah, it’s a recurring issue. However, the Malibu we have came decently sharp. We love Pro-Tech. No qualms with them other than the sharpness of their new knives.

Totally agree my rescent protechs have been very dull. Love everything else about them. Amazing company

The Emerson was a razor out of the box..the Pro Tech...not so much!
