Great vid guys! Hey, idea...do a spot on what to look for if you like Damascus. What Damascus to avoid and why. So many guys love it but need to understand that not all Damascus is the same.
I bought a gas station knife, it's a bit heavier for a gas station knife and it keeps.its.edge fairly reasonable, I tried it to test it's edge on metal rods, bricks and some oak wood, it had tiny chips in the middle, but just a small sharpening and it still preformed well. I think I got lucky with it
I personally would never waste any money on a gas station knife or a pakimascus knife but unfortunately my son is only 6 and talks his mom into buying me them for fathers day so I can proudly say I have some thanks to me persuasive son
No M-Tech's... heard of 'em, seen one or two & passed. I remember the first time I dropped $50 on a knife. I thought WOW, that's a lot of money for a knife! One Chris Reeve Sebenza later and it doesn't seem like anything at all to drop 50 on a knife. Great vid, keep 'em coming, I'll keep watching.
most people don't know what a benchmade is...never heard of a pm2...the most people don't hear about the quality knives unless they know a knife guy...most think that the knives at Wal mart are top shelf
Haha I made that comment before you mentioned them! They are junk in my opinion, I have one that looks cool bought it years ago, I’ll share it on Instagram for ya haha
Some excellent advice! Great video guys 👍
Favorite gas station knife reviewing channel ever! 💯

My hat's off to you gentlemen...great video 😊👍

I think a sodbuster jr is a great kids/ first knife especially if you opt for the CV version!
Indeed it is! Great choice.

That’s awesome!! Definitely consider yourself lucky. If your in a pinch and don’t have a knife. A gas station knife is better than nothing!
@@TheClipPoint it was made by Rtek, it is a 4" tanto blade
Opinel, #6, 7 or 8. Not clippy, not flippy.
Sharp as f..... ! sub-20 bucks for the most part.

@@doomcrewoutdoors1613 Hahaha!! Yeah, they are kinda known for that. However, I’d say even some of them are better than the county fair special!
@@TheClipPoint I actually have an MTech fixed blade that is built like a marine fighting knife, and it’s not terribly bad I have to say
