Hate to be the bearer of bad news, they come out of the box with bearings. I personally don’t mind the bearings. I also like how they give you the option to swap out with washers.
Nice review guys! I have never been too big on Hinderers until I came across the Eklipse ! I was lucky enough find one on Craigslist… Gen 3 Spanto with black g10 and bronze titanium with the working finish. I have been blown away by this and it has taken over pocket time over the other good knives in the collection.
I've got the eklispe Bowie...Love it! Heads up The eklispe comes on bearings from the factory... But if u don't like that action you can switch to the Teflon or bronze washers.. Myself l think the action is perfect! Great knife 👍🏼👊🏼
No problem. I’m just a Hinderer fan, and pretty familiar with them. You should try to pick up a couple more in different blade shapes to appreciate how diverse they can be without losing design language. And since you guys like lanyards the XM-18 has a very large lanyard hole..
I wrote that then realized I carry Tip Up, with an exception or two of knoves that have no alternative. So I am a Tip-Up blade to the rear in my right pocket kind of guy.
@@TheClipPoint after I really looked thru mine I realized the one knife I was looking at when i asked my question may be the only tip down carry that i own, that can't be changed.
Serious knife! Need to add to the arsenal

It’s an amazing knife and a lucky find for you! Congrats on finding one. I’ve always heard that to hold a Hinderer is to love a Hinderer!
It's a good looking knife. Not in my budget range yet but some day. Great review guys 👍
Very nice

All Triway Hinderer’s come on bearings unless you changed them out for the included bronze or Teflon washers…
Yes, we’ve since noticed that. Thanks for the heads up!

Truly truly a 🐐
You do or do not perfer tip down carry?

We prefer tip up carry, but some knives like the Microtech SOCOM Elite only comes in one carry option.
