      @keithyakouboff8755 Caldigit offer cheaper docks but don’t have a 20-in-1 like this. Also nothing in their range allows for quad displays.

    • @ThatMarkGilroy
      @ThatMarkGilroy  8 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@Docmakestrades You’ll need a Mac running a Max or Ultra chip to start off. Then hook up two monitors via HDMI (4K 60) and two via USB C (one will output 4K 60 and the other 4K 30). You’ll be able to configure each screen in the display settings of your Mac.

    I prefer the landscape format of the cottage. To me, it is balanced better in terms of the proportion of river to the cottage and to the sky. I can see nothing wrong with sharing favourite photo locations. Different photographers will have a different take on any location and will produce a different image. There are also many other conditions such as the time of day and weather as to why two shots would unlikely to be the same. I would also feel really proud if someone else wanted to try to emulate an image which I had taken.

    I have one of these, it over heats a lot and needs to be restarted. Only running 1 4K display. It is a good dock otherwise but it need to be unplugged at least once a day to cool off.

      @ChristopherBown 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@ThatMarkGilroy I am using most of the ports on the back and a yubikey on the front. Didn't mean to imply I was only using the monitor port. But feel like 1 4K monitor over thunderbolt shouldn't be causing it to overheat even with the network port and a few other usb items plugged in. I am not doing anything crazy with it. But first the network port goes down, which I don't always notice because the wifi on the mac picks up, then I start losing IO.
      For what it cost, it shouldn't do that. It is sitting on my desk with nothing on it or even around it.
