Thanks for the comment, I mentioned that in the description. Unfortunately, I noticed it too late to be able to correct it in this video but it was corrected in the next video. It would have been possible to redo it but there was a lot of audio editing that I would have had to redo, and as you might imagine this was already many hours of work. I hope you found the video useful anyway!

There are new - and very expensive - options for leather seats that have just appeared. One is black and Cognac brown, and a second is Jet Grey and Ocean Blue. Check your Audi website for prices and pictures - they both look extremely smart! This also seems to have generated more steering wheel options, most of which look exactly the same - there may be some very small cosmetic differences that are linked to the seat options, but they are not visible on the configurator.

NEW BATTERY OPTION: The rumoured option of a smaller battery has appeared, with a lower capacity of 83 kWh (75.8 usable, which seems a large difference), compared to the 100 kWh of the original. This also has a 0-100 kph time of 7.0 seconds (instead of 6.7) and a slower maximum charging speed of 225 kW instead of the 260 or 270 kW of the larger battery. The price is about €5000 lower, and the claimed range is 458-533 km instead of 552-641 km.

I'm not sure which you mean, but there are several buttons which are fake, where I think there are other buttons if you take some different options. The two buttons on the right of the lower row of buttons don't do anything, for example.

I don't think so - I don't believe that it has appeared in any software updates. I haven't really noticed software updates happening on my car, except once when I took it back to Audi and they said that it needed some updates, but they did not seem to change anything in the user interface or options.

I'm glad you liked the videos - for your information, I still have the car and am still happy with it. The only problem is an error message about the Pre Sense system which Audi did not solve when I took it to them. I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the possible brake problems.

Finally, someone is talking some sense in the comment section. Also in my Opinion when getting an Audi at least make sure it has Quattro.

I haven't noticed that. Are you using the pantograph at an angle? I'd try to make sure that the template and the piece that you are cutting are all directly in front of the swivel point. Other than that, I don't know - I haven't used it much more since I made the video.

@@jonathanoakey4745 Thanks. My best guess is that the pattern tracer stylus isn’t exactly perpendicular the table. I’ve spent two days checking everything I can think to check and talked to a friend yesterday who has a Deckel pantograph and is expert on every tool imaginable. He suggested some more things to check, but nothing helps. It’s so maddening! When I engraved my name right after taking it out of the box, it seemed to work fine, and I don’t know what’s different now.

Thanks for your comment. If your phone is connected to the car, perhaps what's displayed is your phone's signal? If I remember correctly, when your phone is connected it goes through the car's connection, which is stronger than the phone's.

@@jonathanoakey4745 Thank you for jour answer. It is displayed if i am connected via BT or not. I was wondering if the car itself has somekind of an inbuilt phone Connection but it doesn't make sence. Like who would have let you connect to like any network without paying. I don't want to be like paranoid or something but honestly I do have a little concern if maybe that is how they steal cars. As it is a used car and I know how my cousin could find his Mercedes CLA over so called find my car in his App even later when he sold it. Can you tell me how many keyes did you get with your new car? I haven't got time yet to visit an official dealership to get this clear but I will defininety. I will keep you posted of what they say👍

@@dlite25 There is an emergency connection service so perhaps that's it, but perhaps you can find the manual online and look in there. I got two keys with my car. Good luck!

It works whenever you need to enter something like an address in the navigation screen, or for example to move the map screen. The whole thing acts like a joystick too. If you have any doubts, get the current owner to show you that it works!

@@GeaguM that's a good point, I'd forgotten. Yes, it was an option, I think it was part of the multimedia interface upgrade. I remember trying a test car without it and thinking that it was really awkward - you had to scroll through the letters on the screen instead.

@@jonathanoakey4745 yeah you have to scroll. I just got the car and it doesn't have the option. Not a big deal but it was nice to have one. At least i enjoy the touch on the number pad and on the reading lights.

It was an option that I didn't take because I don't live in a particularly cold location.

Thanks for the comment, my car is now 5 years old and I'm still just as happy with it. Of course, I don't do a lot of miles - it has 56,000 km / 35,000 miles, which is pretty low. Nothing really to add to what I've said before, I haven't had any unexpected maintenance. It's due an inspection (probably a minor service / oil change), and I will probably need new tyres soon, but that's all very normal. I hope to get another 5 good years out of it!

I'm not sure exactly what you mean but if I understand right, it's because the raised middle section was not the same as the through neck, it was cut out of a part of each of halves of the maple top. Incidentally, the build is progressing but I haven't made more videos - you can see pictures on Instagram, though. It's currently blocked because I ordered inlays but the supplier messed up the order, and they weren't around over Christmas.
