There are new - and very expensive - options for leather seats that have just appeared. One is black and Cognac brown, and a second is Jet Grey and Ocean Blue. Check your Audi website for prices and pictures - they both look extremely smart! This also seems to have generated more steering wheel options, most of which look exactly the same - there may be some very small cosmetic differences that are linked to the seat options, but they are not visible on the configurator. NB it appears that the Grey/Blue seats have the massage function but the Black/Cognac seats do not.
NEW BATTERY OPTION: The rumoured option of a smaller battery has appeared, with a lower capacity of 83 kWh (75.8 usable, which seems a large difference), compared to the 100 kWh of the original. This also has a 0-100 kph time of 7.0 seconds (instead of 6.7) and a slower maximum charging speed of 225 kW instead of the 260 or 270 kW of the larger battery. The price is about €5000 lower, and the claimed range is 458-533 km instead of 552-641 km.
I think I have worked out something that was a bit of a mystery, which is when you get the massage function in the front seats. There are quite a few different types of seats, and in particular some are called "Sport" seats and some are "Sport plus". It seems that the massage function comes with the "Sport Plus" seats. I strongly suggest that you check this with your Audi dealer when you order a car.
Euro NCAP has just published its safety rating for the Q6 e-tron (www.euroncap.com/en/results/audi/q6+e-tron/52560). It received a 5-star rating, and very good scores in all four categories (Adult Occupant 91%, Child Occupant 92%, Vulnerable Road Users 81% and Safety Assist 80%), putting it near the top of their test results.
In Holland we could also choose a ‘launch edition’. That’s a rearwheel drive version with about 5k worth of extras. It has s-line bonuses interior and exterior as well as 20” rims. It is available in a standard version (475 wltp) or performance (578 wltp). Ordered mine (launch edition performance) with comfort plus and tech plus packages. Also sunroof, dark windows, leather seats and silent glass. Car is Daytona gray. Will be delivered in week 49. Nice xmas present. 😅
Just a short comment to improve the quality of future videos for people listening with headphones. The voiceover is not stereo, only on audible on the left side. Maybe you can improve that in the future. Keep up the great work and thanks for the very detailed video! Greetings from Germany!

It would have been possible to redo it but there was a lot of audio editing that I would have had to redo, and as you might imagine this was already many hours of work. I suppose that they will increase in time - I know that each local market makes its own decision about the options and packs, and how to market the car in their country. I'm happy that I could spec more or less what I wanted.
