"Observing is synonymous with being" hit me deep within. I had just meditated for 2 hours or so in silence before watching your video. After hearing those words I just started lauging for a minute or longer lol. Always when I have a huge release I get this insane laughter, I call it my awakening laughter haha. Anyways, thanks for helping me release tension around the act of witnessing. Seeing that witnessing is happening by itself by simply being is so liberating :)

Weird. I remember being like you for a while in my 20’s. The astonishing annihilation of the false self/me, the apparent revelation of pure love, followed by the singular desire to help everyone realize the truth of what they really are.

We identify individual aspects to everything. So a table and a chair as two separate things in relation to everything. But when we are not doing that, there is already everything. Free from the need for individual aspects to be identified. The identification of individual aspects is knowing, we are searching to know everything. Everything is already free from the need to be known. There is just absolute freedom, covered over by that search for knowing.

One thing that bamboozles me is, how do awakened people exactly describe about ego, like ego will tell you this or that ... ego will try to do this, that..... like how?you're no more slave of the mind but how do you descibe the ego so perfectly? Before you get awakened, do you have to be aware of all the cunning tricks and traps of the ego? And that leads you to transcendence? 🤔

Not sure why youtube keeps recommending these new ager non duality videos to me. I acknowledge the old adage: Know Thyself. And I greatly appreciate the works of the ancient Greeks, particularly the Platonists. I do consider these kinds of videos some what, in an indirect way, disregarding the Platonists. Men who spent their life in Philosophia, of this divine inquiry, are now pushed to the side by these new non dualist whom do not appreciate such divine works. They talk about energizing the Soul and I question how this can be done in reifying oneself as illumination.

I feel this strange annoyance coming up as you speak :D Its as if something is saying damn it I have been revealed :D

I am not ONLY this mind, this body. I am much more. Beyond the confines of mind and body, I, unlimited, am that from which all else arises. No need to believe this. Just look. Look at that which has been overlooked. Throw your attention as wide open as it will go. There, you will see your true self-the all-encompassing emptiness onto which all form is written. Be still, for only in stillness, looking at looking itself, can the eye catch a glimpse of its true nature. Be patient, for only a glimpse is necessary to discover the eternal. ❤

Does that mean, dear Tony, that when the mind activity doesn't stop or "i" can't / fail to stop it, "i" can't meditate / meditation cannot happen? That's at least what "i" am hearing you say at the beginning of the video... Or is that what the mind makes out of it?

In my personal experience, the dissolution of the ego has not been enjoyable. I have faced significant resistance to this process and felt intense fear. Despite backing off at times, deep down I understand that this is a necessary journey for me. I am hesitant to transcend darkness alone again, as it was challenging to function in the world. When I hear others discuss the death of the ego in videos, I question if they truly understand the discomfort, as it has been in my current experience.

I think it would be more impactful if you repeat on your own mother tongue? 🤔 while you medidate🧘‍♂️ it's hard to separate. Are you a statue or an alive being? lol. How are you able to exhale so long? My deep breathing is so short. Can we longer it through practice?
