Not a locksmith or lock picker. Why not set pin 1 after setting the rest? (Instead of constantly going back to pin 1)

I have a cheap one of these from public storage that's almost impossible to pick; I've only gotten it open twice after working on it for HOURS trying to figure out a faster way. The problem is... unlike what you show at 1:33, the cores has no spring back... tension allied to it turns and sticks it into rotation, so anything overset or security pins can be set by slightly releasing tension on the pry bar.

So im a beginner in lockpicking and the clear lock i was using had white chalky stuff (i use bottom of keyway tension because my wrenches keep slipping off off when i use top of the keyway) and then finally the top chipped off and key pin number 1 slipped off and into the way, deeper inside the lock, like pin 2 and maybe three and no matter what i do it wont budge! (Im obviously a beginner and i have NO idea what to do)😢

Is there a way to change the hand of this lock? I have a left handed door (when looking from the outside) and I can't figure out a way to make it work.

This changed all commercial doors to true exit doors.

When you go to a hotel, how many study the escape plan printed on the inside of the door as one of the first things. Very few, but more should do it. Would also be nice if more public placed had that kind of information visible by the entrance

I have one of those and I got it from a garage that this lock was there for over 2 decades and I got it picked opened thanks to you I had trouble with it because if I’d tension it the pins would not set or it would reset the problem was I was over tensioning it I lessened it and I got it easily

I work for a builder that puts these locks on there front doors how can I put the APP on? We set up temp codes

Horrible lock, history has never worked. Unlocked it while out of town would never relock. I had good internet and access to security cameras and wifi thermostat but not Schlage. No customer support, never return calls or emails. Unreliable junk.

I just got this lock and setup all the users in the house with codes. My question is how can the rest of the family use their phone to lock or unlock

I got a problem where my deadbolt lock has locked me out of my house. I had to get in through the back door. I am not able to get lock to disengage. I can hear mechanism trying to unlock but it will not. I have looked at a few of your video's but the all say that the deadbolt has to be retracted. I am not able to retract it. I want to try the default reset but am afraid I may make thing worst. Please advise or give me some ideas of fixing this problem. I did change out the batteries even though they were at 78%.

Hi, thanks for this video. Months after setting my lock up, and it working just fine, I noticed my WiFi settings in the app are now blank. Is this normal? Or have I gotten disconnected? It looks like it’s connected, and I can even see the battery level on the lock. I am currently out of state from my lock, so I can’t seem to reconnect it. I was trying to add a new code but it gave me an error msg; this is why I’m writing this. Seeking help.

How can I cancel the program and admin account of the previous owner and set up my own?

You can use pin tumbler depth & space keys to impression lock using Neulube. You cut the depths that are marked.

I've tried a thousand times absolutely no matter what I do after I scan the QR code on the back of the lock it asked me to press the button and release it and nothing happens My lock has to be dead I mean broken the batteries are fine
