    Good to be prepared Tim. I used to keep used electrical gear that was hard to find or obsolete to match existing. Very handy, especially in an emergency and to get power back on quickly. You are now a lock prepper. :)

    Always good to keep replacements for SmartKey cylinders if you have many of them in your area. Amd always keep the metal spindles if they are in working condition.

      Yes! I forgot to put those in the kit! I hate the plastic spindles for sure!

    if you were to deal with medeco, you would have a bag with a few sidebars and spare sidebar springs as well. And good idea to save used Crapset dumbkeys. Or just advice them to upgrade to maybe a Mul-T, Ruko, Assa or medeco

      I’ll eventually carry those spare parts! Our Medeco customers are good about telling us that they have Medeco. So I normally will bring along the Medeco kit. The crap set dumbkey we will roll up on without warning most times, so that’s why I’m putting together spare parts

    I have a VAN full of "OHH SH!T" tools and parts...you'll NEVER have enough! lol

      Haha!! I can already tell that! I got tripped up the other day swapping out LaGuard dial locks for keypad combo locks on a dual compartment safe. Holes for the relocker plate weren’t in the same place!

      I really hate Smartkey and as a result, I’m getting better at drilling them lol!

      Having the different finishes is key (pardon the pun). Being able to drill them open takes skill!

      Rune I certainly would, but only if I knew how! I am an iPhone person not because of technical details, but because of technical ineptitude 😂

    You can rake smart keys just takes forever not worth it without charging extra

      @LockPickingPatrolman  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I truly, honestly, completely suck at raking any type of lock (can’t even rake a Masterlock padlock open) 😵 but maybe I should practice!

      @@LockPickingPatrolman It's a good thing to learn will make some of your lockouts go much faster when you get good at it you should even be able to rake through spool and serated pins on locks like schlage and kwickset
