I love when the 3 of you sew the same garment but using different fabrics. It's such an education for me to see the value of trying new fabric bases, colors, and designs for a pattern. I couldn't see if Rachel and Ruan also used a belt, but I love Tamlyn's belt color and style with her dress. Beautiful. More video's please 😉.

It’s great to hear your thoughts on the construction, really good tip re the elastic.. I agree, the arms can be fiddly and I’ll definitely add more to the length of the elastic for my next make to help with the stretching and sewing combo! Xx

Ahhh so lovely to see you all in your Viennes 🥰 the different fabrics always blow my mind on how it changes the design! Thank you for a fab review. If you do want to reduce the neckline lovelies you might want to take a ‘dart’ out of the pattern piece from the neckline to the zero at the waist. But it might also be the fabric drape so just be careful ❤❤

Great round up and useful pattern highlights. I would not have considered this as I thought it was “just another billowy dress” but your explanation of the proportions around the hip and where the ruffle starts has swayed me. Such a useful dress and you all look great as always. 😊. Lynne

Wow, this couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m off to the French Sewing Retreat with Donna in a couple of weeks and the Vienne dress is the pattern that I have chosen to make! So I am even more excited to make it now. All of the versions look amazing and you all look gorgeous as always! ❤

I would like a date we could come and meet you Guys I would really like to go to the best knitting and stitching show . I am sure more of your international people would like to come. Helping with which show to come to. Best A& B in the area and a few fabric stores it would br great. There are not many bloggers in Canada and you have all the best fabri s. it is really sad I have been sewing for 50 years and I have beautiful viscose and cotton lawn and when I try to destash bo body's interested. I 3nds up in charity shops which unlike yours they get shipped off in big containers with sheets etc

I’ve watched this in two sittings. I laughed out loud at Rachel’s face as reactions to the fabrics were discussed. I thought she was very brave to do this in front of everyone, including Ruan and Tamlyn. I think Rachel did really well. 😊

Hi guys! Thanks for keeping me company as I watched the replay on Sunday morning. I didn't get a notice yesterday that you were live so I missed all the interactive dialogue. I really liked watching you go through Rachel's stash, and all the funny faces Ruan was making that the others didn't even notice. If you do it again, or something similar, I hope you'll consider adding lighting and filming at a higher resolution. The video is quite grainy and dark.Still watched every minute of it though, lol!
