3 is definitely not a crowd! You get a much more natural and informative discussion of the subject happening with 3 people than with just two… and with the northern seal sisters you can guarantee there’s always going to be a bit of fun too!
I love your videos. You all picked colors that were perfect for you. After your Cable knit video -- you inspired me but the company you suggested did not ship to the US. So I bought some inexpensive cable knit from JoAnn Fabrics and made a Helen's Closet Blackbird Cardigan. So once again I am inspired but I will need to find a company that ships to the US. The rib fabrics bring me back to my high school and I think it was in 1967 or so that rib knits were very popular. So I am thinking a rib knit t-shirt..... of course for a women in her 70s!

I have just got some cream rib knit from 1st for fabrics. Needing some wardrobe staples. Vest top to go under a sheer shirt and hopefully a t-shirt if I've bought enough.

Rib knits! I was instantly transported back to my first really trendy outfit back in about 1966. Navy miniskirt and a pink rib-knit sleeveless polo neck jumper! Looking forward to seeing your makes.

How very timely this video was! I’ve got 3 lots of rib knit that I am about to use to make 2 Fibre Mood Cheryl bodies and a T-shirt. Seeing the fabric made me want to make another Zoe tank dress as I couldn’t find the exact wide-rib fabric I wanted for my first one and so opted for a colour that is ok but not exactly what I wanted. It’s hard to find a nice rib knit but now spoilt for choice!
I’ve also made the Karla lounge set and it’s a dream to make. I shaved down the flare on the legs quite a bit as I felt they were too billowy for me and I just love them. I wish I’d done the same with the sleeves as they are a bit too full to be practical but everyone says they look great. The elasticated waist is the best I’ve made.

Can’t wait to hear how it goes, I’ve never sewn with rib knit and worry about it stretching out and getting wavy under the machine foot, but it is everywhere in RTW at the moment, so I’m keen to hear your tips. It’s so fun to watch you all together again 😊

Love this idea, I’m definitely getting involved, I love sewing with knits. I’m so glad you’ve shown these fabrics, I saw them on the website but wasn’t fussed, seeing them had changed my mind! Looking forward to the reveal! 🙌🏾

Like all your plans BUT Ruan I've had my eye on the Swimstyle pattern for a while now and put off purchasing it as I have similar type patterns but think this will change when I see your reveal. Your choice is amazing for it and no doubt I will copy you. Im excited to see all the results
Ok ladies, you really need to stop showing us these fabulous fabrics from 1st For Fabrics! They do not ship to the US and it makes me want to cry. Lol. Do you know who the maker is of the Aurora fabric? Maybe I can find it on this side of the pond. I love when the three of you get together and can't wait to see each of your garments. Ooh, did you watch me shop last week? I bought some rib knit jersey on a whim at a craft fair just because I loved it. I only bought 1.5m and have no idea what I was going to do with it other than make some type of simple summer top. I also bought some cotton/linen mix as I have never sewn with that.
Oh my goodness, those Aurora rib knits are just wonderful. Do you have the producer's name? As 1stforfabrics don't ship to Norway, I thought I'd try to spy it out from somewhere else. :)

What lovely fabrics and ideas! I love them. I’m still figuring out what to make with the rib knit fabric I received for Christmas from btpd. I think you received it too but obviously haven’t used it. I was thinking the Sibiu top but waiting for inspiration on patterns. Can’t wait to see these.😍ps Ruans pattern choice wasn’t linked as far as I could see.
