For years I rode a motorcycle to see the county side near and far. Now it's a Seadoo. It's opened up a whole new world of places to go. I am fortunate to live in an area that has so much water to explore. Come along with me as we learn about PWC and the places they can take you. Welcome to the YUKON BOB channel.
Bahamas Abacos
My trip sailing around the Abacos region in the Bahamas was cut short when hurricane Milton came roaring in. I did manage to do three days of sailing and have put together this video.

Yukon Bob Update
มุมมอง 2.2K2 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hi everyone. Just a quick update on my Seadoo repair situation.
Longest ride of the year 230K
มุมมอง 3.8K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
It's a big group of riders today and a long run all the way from the bottom of Georgian Bay to Parry Sound.
French River. A journey into the past
มุมมอง 3.6K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
This is some of the most beautiful scenery in Ontario. We travel the same waterways as the early Voyageurs who opened up Canada during the fur trade. Our entrance is the Pickerel river that will lead us into the Lower French River. It's two days of camping off the Seadoo.
Spark Tricks
มุมมอง 1.7K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
A beautiful ride today on Lake Simcoe. We drop in on the massive on water development called Friday Harbour and we watch some pro riders putting their Seadoo Sparks through some trick riding.
One Day Three Lakes
มุมมอง 2.3K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
We cross three different lakes in today's video. Vernon, Fairy and Peninsula. I also try out a paddle to see how easy it would be to get to shore with it.
Lake of Bays
มุมมอง 3.1K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Take a ride with Yukon Bob on a beautiful body of water called Lake of Bays. We circumnavigate the lake and explore a scenic river and waterfall.
It all went WRONG
มุมมอง 2.7K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
It all wen’t wrong. Sometimes even with planning things can go in a different direction. What was supposed to be a two day camping trip turned into a long one day drive. Still managed to get a ride in on Parry Sound.
Heat dome over Muskoka country
มุมมอง 4.7K4 หลายเดือนก่อน
Possibly the hottest day of the year so far. I hook up with the Seadoo Tours Riding group for a run down lake Muskoka with a stop in Bala for ice cream. A perfect day.
Toronto up close
มุมมอง 6K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Every year I like to make one trip through the inner Toronto Harbour. It's a great way to see the city up close. Centre island is also close by so lets take a cruise through there as well.
Just about froze
มุมมอง 2.2K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
It was supposed to be warmer. In this weeks ride I had to put on all the clothing I had with me.Lakes locks and rivers are all included in this weeks ride.
Hey Hey It's Georgian Bay
มุมมอง 2.5K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
It's the big water of Georgian Bay today. Often called the sixth Great Lake this is one of my favourite destinations. There's lots to explore so lets hit the water.
First ride of 2024
มุมมอง 2.7K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
Yukon Bob is back for another season of Seadoo videos around southern Ontario. Today we test a new drone and do an early season ride on Lake Simcoe.
Diving St. Barts
มุมมอง 3576 หลายเดือนก่อน
Take a trip with me to St. Barts in the Caribbean for a dive in some beautiful water.
Best lawn ever.

If you want the best lawn ever try this product. Seadoo videos coming shortly.

Sailing on the all new ELECTRIC Catamaran TW6
Thanks Bob, enjoyed your vacation, wish I could have been there.
What an awesome video, and adventure Bob! Thanks for sharing!
I have gotten an opportunity to buy the 2023 GTX 300 Limited model. But before this opportunity i was looking into the Sea Doo explorer pro (due to its hull and more loading capabilities with the linQ system being standard). Do you have any experience with the adding additional accessories, as the extension module for the linQ system to the back of the GTX 300? Also great video! Thanks!
@@DerWixer666 I have non Seadoo platform that I bought out of Florida that allows me to add an extra two linQ products. The Seadoo product is probably the way to go. A friend has added it and the extension platform to his 2023 300. He likes it. I am in the process of of buying a new machine likely the explorer pro which comes with everything mentioned above including the large travel bag. I have never really ever needed 300 hp. The explorer also uses regular fuel. I also hardly ever use the sound system on mine.
All the best Bob Thanks for taking us along. Glad to see you enjoying life to the full. I hope our paths cross one day but until then I wish you the very best.
@@mrharry8466 Thanks Harry
Any updates Bob? Happy Thanksgiving

What time of year was this filmed?
@@nsprosty I really can’t remember.
Sorry to hear, you should post a video talking about your career as a news reporter. IT would be very interesting, and how you got the yukon bob name. I have an idea your eye balling the Seadoo Adventure
Bob hopefully you get things sorted out soon. Miss seeing your videos showing us your adventures. Maybe next season you could explore lakes out west. B.c. has amazing lakes and the coast can make for good videos just saying 🤞
thank you yukon bobby daddy haha i think it’s jokes u got insurance involved im curious if u have to pay or if they pay lol i’d never take my ski to the french river that’s crazy i watched a guy in a tinner hit an unmarked rock can’t believe u hit a marked rock there’s so many unmarked thank you daddy bob #1 fan
I've been to this location, and I worked as a marine technician, and I was in the museum servicing antique boats! I got to see a huge wooden speedboat!
Where is the other video of what happened ? Hope the ski gets fixed ASAP
@@blairmacdonald3657 on advice I pulled it down until everything gets settled. Getting close.
Thanks for the update Bob, sounds like it time to come to Henderson/Vegas for a weekend and we can hit lake mead and or Colorado River on my waverunners before it gets to cold 🤙
@@BTKSPENCE that sounds attractive but I am suppose to be in Abacos in the Bahamas in about a week on a catamaran. I think this think is going to get settled this week. Would like to see it written off. Not sure I would ever trust the hull again.
@@bobsudeyko4088 you’d be surprised.. I’ve seen some pretty good hull repairs on boats with much bigger gashes then your ski got.
Keep up the great videos Bob can’t wait for the next one 👍✌️
Hi Bob. Thanks for the update. I enjoy all of your videos. Sorry to see you hit the rock. I hope you are back on the water better than ever soon. Please keep us updated on YT. Can’t wait to hear what your PWC plan is going forward. I’m a Yamaha FX guy in Orlando area that rides and explores waterways from the keys to NC. I appreciate your YT work.
@@sbateman1231 That’s so nice of you. There are times when I wonder why I am doing all of this but comments like your encourage me to continue. I do get tired of making the same videos on the same lakes. Only so many places that I can go in a one day turn around.
Doesn't someone need to portage into Cross Lake? Maybe there is a tiny passage at the bottom of the lake?
I have gone in there by Seadoo with no issues
I saw the other video and remember seeing a typical red and green buoy, same as used by the cost guard to mark safe channels. You say you thought it was a green buoy and I think you are right However your rationale for going on the wrong side of it doesn't make any sense to me. The purpose of red and green buoys is not just to mark a safe path to go. They are usually placed specifically near hazards such as rocks. If they're not placed on the shore then you can be sure there's a hazard lurking nearby. When you see others going on the wrong side, they either know the area and hazard well enough to take the risk, or they're making a mistake.
Glad all is ok, love watching your videos bob.
@@Yamomma95 Thanks. Short season this year.
Get a Yamaha!
Thanks for the update Bob. Stay well!
So sorry to hear about you hitting the rock, but did you post that video take care about your luck?
@@briankozicki9142 I did but on advise I have taken it down until after all this gets settled
@@bobsudeyko4088 That's why I didn't see that video.
Have you given the squirrel behind you a name
Thanks for the update Bob. If you are going to switch it up I highly recommend the 170 for the kind of touring that you do. We love ours.
Wonder how many people died of lung cancer?
I vote. Yamaha svho….
Happy to hear from you Bob. Was hoping you would have had that sorted out by now. I was in Gravenhurst a week after you dropped it off at the repair shop and decided to take a peek but you had just picked it up to take home. Since youre not out on the Seadoo, maybe you could invite a few of your closest subscribers over for a beer in that beautiful backyard of yours 😂
@@rickmoohs9619 we seem to keep miss each other. That backyard has been a work in progress for 20 years. Running out of energy so I think I am done now. Thanks for checking in Rick.
My guess… You are considering the new Seadoo Fishpro.
Thanks for the update and good luck!
Thank you, Bob, so much for keeping us posted. Keep us posted and let us know what's going on it's interesting. Take care God-bless bless
Glad for the update, keep us posted for sure. Yard looking great

Thanks for the update, and yes, the weather has been quite warm as I was swimming in Sparrow Lake last weekend.

Thanks for the update, Bob! Missing your videos.. always a great watch. Hope you get to a conclusion soon. Cheers, Stu
@@MrStuart123456 Thankyou
Thanks Bob for the update! Glad you are ok, What a wonderful September in southern Ontario. Murphy's Law I suppose. I know you are most happiest on the water! Take it easy and will watch for your next video!
I tend to agree with you that the unit appears to be a write-off. I was surprised to see the extent of the damage and what the hull looked like after. That hull didn't look like traditional laminated marine fiberglass and gel coat to me, it looked more like a foam core with a plastic outer shell. I owned an 06 GTX a number of years back and I bought it from someone who had run it HARD into and over a rock and was selling it very cheap as a result. The damage was extensive but it never fully breached the hull and I was able to get the f/g repaired without an issue because it was typical laid up f/g. It ended up being a great deal for me, I used it several seasons and sold it at the end for more than I paid for it. It appears Bombardier has changed their hull manufacturing process greatly since that time. Interested to hear what insurance is saying. Stay well and look forward to new videos next season!!
@@davemarshall4509 Its acrylic finish over fiber glass. Long rip in the acrylic and the fibreglass has also been torn. The real concern are the stress cracks in the side of the hull. Don’t think I could ever trust it again.
Hi mr Bob thanks for the update on the seadoo I missed you buddy greetings from oakville Ontario
The Explorer would fit your hobby better. Good luck!
Thanks for the update. It must be very frustrating.
Thanks for the Update Bob ! Let us know what ur planning to order soon !!!!
Thanks for the update. Just got a new seadoo this summer and was hoping to run across you on the water at some point. Best of luck!!

Thanks for the update. Hope you get a resolution quickly.
Good luck Bob! Get a Kawasaki, they have stronger hulls.
Beautiful Landscaping !!
@@tylersmith9009 yea it’s been a work in progress over many years.
appreciate the update, Bob. is THIS "TYPICAL" of Canadian insurance companies? no one here in Florida would put up with the 4+ weeks wait i mean... what the HE__? just wondering good luck and thanks for keeping us informed.... everyone loves your videos and just wants to see you back on the water
Best of luck with the claim. Really look forward to your tours continuing. They are great! Weather has been fantastic for getting out on the water. Many thanks for the update!
❤ Thanks so much for the update. I have been thinking I should have gator glide installed on my jet ski. Have you heard of it and do you believe that it would have prevented you from getting that hole in your seedoo
Yes I have heard of it and no in my situation I don’t believe it would have helped. I think it helps with scratches and minor scrapes.
Really sorry to hear it’s still not resolved Bob. I would have thought even if the damage cannot be repaired the hull could be replaced while keeping the rest of the machine. Maybe Sea Doo don’t supply the hull as a replacement and it would be a lot of work to swap it I guess. Hope you are able to get out on the water again soon.
Thanks for the update Bob! The 2025 GTX 325 Limited is looking really really good. Nice to see Seedoo make the GTX Limited an actual prestige jetski again.
Any update on the seadoo? Been waiting for the “To be continued” update.
There has been no decision yet as to whether it can be repaired or not. An adjuster has been assigned and the shop is now putting together a price. It’s a long process.
@@bobsudeyko4088 Hope all goes well. Look forward to seeing videos again next year. Take care.
