Hi Bob the Island were the ferry come from is called Georgia Island and the other Island is called Thorah Island I live on lake Simcoe I love it here grow up here as well lots of great memories. Thanks for the video on Lake Simcoe.
Awesome video, Bob. I'm looking forward to going to Beaverton soon and launching my Explorer pro. I just got back from North bay. I did all of Lake Nipissing and Trout Lake. Just beautiful. Beautiful country we live in. 🇨🇦 👍
Love the videos the way they are Bob , always great drone shots, I prefer your commentary over the music and when you do play music, it's light and you can still hear the water and engine over it. I have no problem watching 30 minute videos. Always very informative. Glad to see the paddle exercise lol. I have the same one and fortunately never had to use it.
Totally agree. It took us one crazy weather where wave/chop going overhead where I was not able to see and felt like drowning. No other pwc or boat was out but we needed to get back home to pick up our kids from school. Waiting out the storm was not an option. That gave me confidence in what this machine can do.
Sibbald's Point, camped there numerous times when I was younger. Great place, but always crowded. Also, interesting mods on the GTX, BRP should be taking notes.
I’ve read somewhere that with the explorer windshield you can’t see through it while wearing polarized sunglasses. Kinda like looking at a gas pump with sunglasses I figure. So try before you buy cause we need our shades!
Its only polarised glasses that are a problem, which causes rainbow colours on the windscreen. Mainly where the perspex has been heat treated to create the curves. But unpolarised glasses do not cause any problems. Not a biggee
What happened to lunch? Fitted my Gopro to the top of the new windscreen with the gopro rubberised clip on. Worked fine. If you was wondering where yours could go.
Great video! Beautiful place to explore and spend the day on the water. I've used my idf several times and it has worked flawlessly. I first tried it just 20 feet from my takeout just to become familiar with it. It provides great peace of mind. Went 51 miles here in RI on Wednesday; 45 of those miles was very windy with 2-4 foot confused seas. The Riva Sponsons, and Intake Grate really make a world of difference in handling those conditions. I have also purchased the Fishing Seat from Sea Doo (grey/white/black). Love it. Would you purchase the 300 again? Good looking machine. As always, thanks for sharing!
Hi Bob, after watching ur beaverton/lake simcoe ride my wife and I trailered r seadoos from Fenelon to beaverton and rode up to Orillia for lunch. I wish u had warned us about how slippery the ramp was. I went ass over tea kettle and got soaked. Damp but great ride to Orillia and back lol. Btw, no charge for parking today either
Sorry about that. At the beginning of the season it was okay but yea now it’s a bit slick. Guess the couldn’t find a student to sit there and collect money this year. Good access point for Simcoe.
Hey Bob, love watching your videos and getting ideas for weekend trips for me and my wife. I just had a quick question regarding your trailer spare tire. Where did you get the mount for it? I am trying to find one similar to yours to mount it like you but I can only find the side mount ones. Look forward to hearing from you and keep up the great videos.
Nice video Bob great information! Also happy to hear Andrew got the seat idea and has put it on his. It has been so good to have that new style seat on there. Did he like it? and would you go to it?
Hi Mark. Not sure I would go to it. I will have to switch with him for half an hour and see if I like it. Pretty big expense. Oddly enough just had a subscriber ask if his original seat is for sale so maybe no expense if he sells it. He likes the Explorer seat. Don’t really get the need for the Garmin on the left. I think it’s way more stable with the Seadoo mount and when you are moving it’s hard to navigate the Garmin very much. Now I know you have just replaced yours. Really trying to get out farther as I am tired of making the same videos over and over. Need a few good days in a row to travel long distances.
@@bobsudeyko4088 that is fair if you don’t have any issues with that bump then ya not worth the money but I am to tall and ended up sitting right on it. Yes I have had people ask if I want to sell so might in off season just want to get a full season on the new seat to make sure. Ah nice good that he is enjoying it. Yes saw that only thing I can say is you can work it with out letting go of the gas or stretching over. I agree I like the mount it comes with it and easy to use and go and very sturdy. Yes hit that wake and broke the cover part but very easy to replace. Nice I agree trying to do some longer trips but this weather has made it so hard to do more than a day or two so hope it gets better soon. Have a good time out there cheers!
@@bobsudeyko4088 Yes. The smaller Garmin is more stable with a Seadoo mount, but it has a smaller screen and can't zoom in and out when navigating at speed. I use the 9" Garmin on the left to use my left hand to zoom in and out when I have to or to move the screen to look ahead. Seadoo won't make a left-side version to keep you from pushing buttons while you are at speed. I've been doing it this way for 20 years, so I'm not about to change now...lol. I tried someone else's machine for 1/2 an hour with the built-in Garmin on the right and hated it, so I called my dealership right after I ordered my GTX to cancel that option. This year, I'll alter the mount to be on the cover plate just forward of the steering column without the RAM arm...just a flat mount.
The 170hp engine is plenty powerfull for the average person. 89kmh (55mph) on flat calm water. Any rougher and you would be pushing it to to do 40kmh or more comfortably. The 170hp has phenomenal acceleration, Initially it will scare the pants off you, and switch to sports mode and it will rip your shirt off, then your pants😂
Great video Bob, Simcoe really is big. What an inconsiderate guy you travel with who wouldn't use the other launch and insisted that you move your machine ,
I wanted a fish pro but wanted 300. So I got a RXTX and can add all the accessories that would make it like a fish pro but have the 300 hp. It’s all on what features you want, best of both worlds kind of thing lol
Another nice vid Bob, unfortunately to buy and run a new Seadoo these days has turned into another rich mans sport that most of us could not afford, and Bombardier is charging a extra fee for market adjustments, they are out of their fricken minds, how much did the new GTX cost with all the extras bolted onto it, I'll bet 35k.
You are close once you add in the tax. I agree. Some of these guys are on their 5th machine and they can’t believe what they now cost compared to what they used to pay.

I got it from my BRP dealer in z Uxbridge. I just asked for the spare to come with the trailer and that’s what showed up.
