hey B. i can watch trains pass overob love the videos. the bridge over the water in Parry Sound is not the Canadian National, it is the Canadian Pacific tressle. i was born in Parry Sound more than 60 years and still live there today. i can watch trains pass over the bridge from my apartment. again love the content. cheers Dave

Great video. Restaurants closing seems like the end of an era, but hopefully someone will take it over and do great things with it

You had me at Bobby Orr. As for ferries going through tight spots, the Kawartha Voyager goes from Peterborough to Big Chute, and I know you are familiar with how narrow some of those passages are between the top of Sparrow and the Swift Rapids Locks. I hope you have a great vacation way way down south and l look forward to seeing the videos.

Hey Bob, love the videos! I just purchased a GTX 230 and will be boating around Georgian bay for the most part. I am a cottager and am familiar with the water to make my way around, but for exploring sake, I was wondering what navigation tools you use to help identify safe water for your adventures. Thanks for any tips!

Hi John. I have the onboard BRP navigation app and I have the Garmin unit that you can install into the tight side mirror.
I use those for getting fit knowing where I am and how to get to where I need to go.
In terms of shallow waters I have found that just watching the water and keeping an eye out for ripples that might indicate rocks or colour changes in the water is the best method. You only need about three feet of water so it can go almost anywhere.
There are also lots of navigational buoys on Georgian to line up and follow. The Garmin unit will show them.
Enjoy that new machine and say hi if you spot me out there this summer.
I also did a video on how to plan a Seadoo trip if you are hauling somewhere other than Georgian.

I really appreciate the response thank you! I am planning on using a phone mount for navigation over a chartplotter unit. I see the BRP Go app uses Navionics maps, which I had been considering, so I will take a more in-depth look at that. Thanks again, and I look forward to more videos of your adventures this summer. @@bobsudeyko4088
