Bob hopefully you get things sorted out soon. Miss seeing your videos showing us your adventures. Maybe next season you could explore lakes out west. B.c. has amazing lakes and the coast can make for good videos just saying 🤞
Sorry to hear, you should post a video talking about your career as a news reporter. IT would be very interesting, and how you got the yukon bob name. I have an idea your eye balling the Seadoo Adventure
Thanks Bob for the update! Glad you are ok, What a wonderful September in southern Ontario. Murphy's Law I suppose. I know you are most happiest on the water! Take it easy and will watch for your next video!
Thanks for the update Bob! The 2025 GTX 325 Limited is looking really really good. Nice to see Seedoo make the GTX Limited an actual prestige jetski again.
Best of luck with the claim. Really look forward to your tours continuing. They are great! Weather has been fantastic for getting out on the water. Many thanks for the update!
I tend to agree with you that the unit appears to be a write-off. I was surprised to see the extent of the damage and what the hull looked like after. That hull didn't look like traditional laminated marine fiberglass and gel coat to me, it looked more like a foam core with a plastic outer shell. I owned an 06 GTX a number of years back and I bought it from someone who had run it HARD into and over a rock and was selling it very cheap as a result. The damage was extensive but it never fully breached the hull and I was able to get the f/g repaired without an issue because it was typical laid up f/g. It ended up being a great deal for me, I used it several seasons and sold it at the end for more than I paid for it. It appears Bombardier has changed their hull manufacturing process greatly since that time. Interested to hear what insurance is saying. Stay well and look forward to new videos next season!!
@@davemarshall4509 Its acrylic finish over fiber glass. Long rip in the acrylic and the fibreglass has also been torn. The real concern are the stress cracks in the side of the hull. Don’t think I could ever trust it again.
Thanks for the update Bob, sounds like it time to come to Henderson/Vegas for a weekend and we can hit lake mead and or Colorado River on my waverunners before it gets to cold 🤙
@@BTKSPENCE that sounds attractive but I am suppose to be in Abacos in the Bahamas in about a week on a catamaran. I think this think is going to get settled this week. Would like to see it written off. Not sure I would ever trust the hull again.
Happy to hear from you Bob. Was hoping you would have had that sorted out by now. I was in Gravenhurst a week after you dropped it off at the repair shop and decided to take a peek but you had just picked it up to take home. Since youre not out on the Seadoo, maybe you could invite a few of your closest subscribers over for a beer in that beautiful backyard of yours 😂

Hi Bob. Thanks for the update. I enjoy all of your videos. Sorry to see you hit the rock. I hope you are back on the water better than ever soon. Please keep us updated on YT. Can’t wait to hear what your PWC plan is going forward. I’m a Yamaha FX guy in Orlando area that rides and explores waterways from the keys to NC. I appreciate your YT work.
@@sbateman1231 That’s so nice of you. There are times when I wonder why I am doing all of this but comments like your encourage me to continue. I do get tired of making the same videos on the same lakes. Only so many places that I can go in a one day turn around.
Really sorry to hear it’s still not resolved Bob. I would have thought even if the damage cannot be repaired the hull could be replaced while keeping the rest of the machine. Maybe Sea Doo don’t supply the hull as a replacement and it would be a lot of work to swap it I guess. Hope you are able to get out on the water again soon.

I saw the other video and remember seeing a typical red and green buoy, same as used by the cost guard to mark safe channels. You say you thought it was a green buoy and I think you are right However your rationale for going on the wrong side of it doesn't make any sense to me. The purpose of red and green buoys is not just to mark a safe path to go. They are usually placed specifically near hazards such as rocks. If they're not placed on the shore then you can be sure there's a hazard lurking nearby. When you see others going on the wrong side, they either know the area and hazard well enough to take the risk, or they're making a mistake.
❤ Thanks so much for the update. I have been thinking I should have gator glide installed on my jet ski. Have you heard of it and do you believe that it would have prevented you from getting that hole in your seedoo
