In case anyone wants to try this out, Moritz Broschinski seems perfectly suited to this role for me. Its a shame hes so bad but if you manage a team at championship level, I can see it being a perfect match.

I recently stumbled across your channel and now I can't stop watching your incredibly insightful (and well-presented) videos. (Also: your calm, reassuring and perfectly understandable voice! I don't want to be overly dramatic, but to me, the voice in tutorial videos is "make or break". ;) And yours is a definite "hit".) I'm not exactly a newcomer to FM (having amassed 1300h in FM24 alone^^) but as a 442 enthusiast and a counter-attack fanboy who deliberately stays away from gegenpress tactics and from 433/4231 formations your lessons are a real treasure. I noticed that the AI uses even very offensive players for these roles, such as Alphonso Davies, I wonder if the AI tries to first want him to be in his half when building the action and then escape by playing higher up on the line. And here, such commands as cross more often, run with the ball on the wing or cross from byline do not make the IFB more offensive, because I doubt that the AI would be so stupid as to put someone who is not suitable in this role

Are you considering uploading a video analyzing the opponent team before the match? Based on the opponent team analysis, appropriate instructions can be determined, and adjustments in depth and width can be made. Different instructions are required for opponents that use man-to-man marking, or those that don’t press, or those that hold a high defensive line. Will you be working on this topic?

Great video, can you implement automatic dubbing in future videos?

Is it advisable to play 2 playmakers in your team?? Or should you only have 1?

My understanding is the "Dribble Less" option will not make the whole team dribble less as it is a choice that is in the "final third" section of team instructions. So it will only encourage players in the final third of the pitch to dribble less, ie attackers and those in the final third. It should not effect players who are not in the final third

What is the difference between the roles your explored here, and the Trequartista and Enganche?

Great video, very clear and concise and easily understood. Here's my question as I l absolutely love playing in the lower leagues, with lesser quality players. So with playing a 4-4-1-1, what do you do then when your ST and/or AMC is gassed/injured/high fatigue and your replacement options are substandard. Do you use another tactic which would be more conducive to the subs being used, or stick with the main formation? Thanks, liked and subscribed!

A fantastic video from the Teacher to close the year! Just a very very small note: I am pretty sure the trait "trys long range passes" actually matches with the instruction "more direct passes", instead of the instruction "take more risks". Even the mental attributes are slightly different, the first being more influenced by vision and the second by flair. Apart from this detail, a great lesson and another milestone into the FM school library. Happy new year!

Nope. It doesn't work. Maybe my FM24 is broken . I tried every tactic and every other combination and still can't dominate in my test match that I keep reloading.

2 poachers, 2 wide target wingers, 2 carrileros, 2 inverted wingback on attack, 2 ball playing defender. This shit is quite potent, it could pull 5-0 on very defensive and zero pressing tactics.

That 4-3-3 is just a thing of beauty.

You know what I like about this video, it's completely different to how I've used this formation before - I've gone all in on the central overload and used roles like DLF on support, BBM, and even the 'Fairly Narrow' team instruction to create something maybe a bit unbalanced but incredibly potent in attack

Fiddled with this to try to recreate Alonso's Leverkusen, and found out that Defensive Wingers are far superior to Wingbacks in that system.

In a 532, how do I set up the midfield to have two mezzlas on attack? Or is that too aggressive?

Great video with easy played down information. Would be really cool if you did an explanation on creating space with a flat 4-4-2, if possible with the classic "1 fullback attacking and another more defending" or something like that.

If anybody wants to to a see a game where this formation is utilised to devastating affect look to West Ham Vs Liverpool 14 may 2017. very similar to the tactics shown in this video bar a few slight tweaks. You can view it on footballia and I would highly recommend it.

I've recently started a save with Arzignano Valchiampo in Serie C and am having so much fun using this formation. Given that my defence is fairly weak, one thing I'm finding useful is having a wing back on attack and a carrilero on the right, and a wing back on defend and a mezzala on attack on the left. I've given the mezalla PI's of Run Wide with Ball and Cross More Often to make him a pseudo-winger and adding an Overlap Left TI ups the left wing backs mentallity, encouraging him to get forward more than he otherwise would on a defend duty. This has enabled my team to remain dangerous down both flanks but without losing the defensive stability I need with my fairly weak defence. So far this is working nicely with my team being in an unexpected title race, scoring lots of goals and not conceding too many.

I made a 442 diamond in an Ajax save and its probably my favourite tactic this year. It is hilariously similar to this. I used an AM/CF instead of SS/P but apart from that its near identical. Fun
