For the rings, you can also add them to a weighted sum group so you can sort by the total weighted sum of the added flat damage mods

People majorly underestimate the damage of flat added.

Hi, I 'm new to Poe2 but I'm trying to figure out how the spirit costs work with this build. I have 166 spirit but if I start putting in the support gems the cost seems to go way above 166. Is there something discounting the costs of the buffs/aura skills?

No clue what kind of rings you were using after lvl 30 but I had the worst time ever after act 2 NORMAL mode. I didnt do any damage at all and followed your guide completely. Biggest waste of money I have ever made. Stuck at literally devourer act 1 cruel mode which is a boss i managed to kill instantly with every other character I have lvled so far

Can I progress without swapping out the Polcirkeln? Is the bossing really bad with it?

Did you stop using contagion? In the cruel part of the guide, it's not a skill that's used anymore. I also wish you had footage of how you play during Acts 1-3/Cruel.

is there a way to add charge staff to this build? I love its MTX but im not sure if it would add any dmg to the build

Hi. Thanks for the very interesting and well-done guide. I'm new to PoE, and have so far only played infernalist witch. I've wanted to play another class, but have been reluctant to start from scratch all over again. This video seems like it would make switching to another class or ascendancy a lot easier. And I really like the way the gameplay with the freezing quarterstaff looks. If I wanted to play a class/ascendancy where I could continue that type of game style to the highest level, what would you suggest? (I've been busy just learning the game in general and focusing on infernalist, so haven't learned too much about the other classes yet.)

I would personally replace Crescendo with Concentrated Effect - Ice Strike itself is a melee attack so the smaller AOE doesn't matter much, but it gives 40% more damage. I tested this on POB and it seems to be the best support gem to throw in

I ve very big problem at the start of t15 map, breach or delirium. Die more often cause little damage when stack are low. Rare mob shot me (2300 mana) before doing enough damage.

Very detailed guide, however, this guide needs to be tweaked for more survivability if you are playing Hardcore. Based on the gameplay, there are instances that hp is dropping below danger threshold hehe. You dont want those expensive items go to waste :)

Better support gems would be Martial Tempo - Primal Armament - Ice Bite - Rage Most of the time we are tapping ice strike one time, therefore crescendo doesnt see use. And then when it DOES proc you are spending extra time attacking... Thats not fun in this game you will be in for a rude awakening when mobs have stun buildup but i guess thats a mapping issue. I used crescendo a lot in cruel campaign and once you get to maps you realize its bait Ice bite goes on herald of thunder when yall get enough flat cold on gear and another set of spirit

I've been using your previous build and it was a bit confusing and hard to follow so I ended up adding some invoker staker build to it like x2 heralds and flurry, doing well till now. Btw I'm definitely going to try this one on a new class 👌
