I asked my priest if I could be interred at a National Cemetary, and he said it is allowed. I believe they bless the plot before the body is lowered in.

We think alike. I have all those issues. I do always have pashmina to cover the front, & shoulders. I worry too much. Lol. But I saw 2 lil women in their veils and I just loved it. And then I started researching I love the Reverence of Christ. I returned to my church on Ash Wednesday, I’m so happy to be back. Thank you for your help.

As a catholic though, the fact that they are grave sins despite there not being clear biblical evidence for this is hard for me to square.

It's for Christian modesty at Mass. That's all. It's not for your feelings.

I used to wear a veil. Can we wear the small ones? I used to wear the ones on top. What color should I wear if I've been married but no longer am? I was at Mass for ash Wednesday and saw several women wearing veil's. And I thought how respectful it was.

My parents, from the time I remember, stayed at the dinnertable after dinner, and my mum and dad took turns reading a chapter of the bible, and then we took turns praying around the table out loud. It was great, just became second nature, plus good chance to pray FOR one another about things we're going thru.

I grew up Open (Plymouth) Brethren in New Zealand, a protestant evangelical group of believers. We wore head coverings at every Sunday meeting service all through my growing up years. Have started doing it again in the last year or so more and more. ❤

As a nondenominational Christian who follows the Bible, be careful of praying to those idols behind you. Only through Christ you'll go to heaven. 🙏✝️ leaving catholicism is the best thing that happened to me.

Roman Catholic funeral? like idolatry and praying to saints. Hmmm, roman inquisition with tortures and martyred saints. The cross of Christ will take you to heaven when you die. There's no purgatory, if there is the cross and blood of Jesus can't save anybody.

I have those bear pencils but in the shape of unicorns in my box I have the same problem with erasers so I buy a big bulk pack with pencils and erasers in cute styles

I was called to veil five years ago. Last Sunday, for the first time, I forgot my veil, and I felt absolutely naked. When I got home the first thing I did was put a veil in my purse so that would never happen again.

You really look nice in your veils, very spiritual.

So sad. We are saved by grace through faith, alone! Not the eucharist. Jesus is Lord and is seated at he right hand of God. Religion adds nothing. It is finished.

I have ADD. The veil helps me focus.

How old were you when you realized that Jesus was a real man who walked the earth for 33 years? Haha you don’t even want to know how old I was when I had that moment. A Jewish woman said something in passing to me such as “I believe in the real man, Jesus.” I was like what did she just say to my self. And then we talked about it. That’s when I learned.

I didn’t know that we could plan our funeral mass in advance. How does one go about doing that. This was such an informative video. We just recently bought our graves in a Catholic cemetery with our feet pointing east. There were not that many graves with this option. We next were planning on planning with the funeral home, but it seems more important to plan the funeral mass. But please would you explain how? Do I just contact our parish?

A Protestant doesn’t have holy days of obligation during the week, but Catholics do. Why would a Protestant want to be Catholic knowing one missed holy day of obligation and one is in danger of hell

Both antipopes John XXIII and Paul VI did open the window to the world. It is time to close the window from the world. ⏰ I was a witness that altar boy put the crucifix in the bathroom when the Novus Ordo mass began. Horrible! When an altar boy brought crucifix from the bathroom during the mass ended. Why was the bathroom in the mass? Horrible! That is why we need the Consecration of Russia.
