Thanks so much for joining Kody and me today! Leave us a comment and let us know what you think about homeschooling and your journey. What has it been like for you and your spouse?
Here in Italy homeschooling is practically never used (even if the Constitution would allow parents that). Watching this video I think many families would absolutely change their mind here. However when I finished watching the video I thought: "Woow!! God is there among them and makes them so happy and united!". Wonderful family! Thank you so much and God bless you!
Thank you so much for the compliment. I am definitely happy that we are on the same page with homeschooling. He is such an amazing support to me for sure. I'm really thankful for him. I hope that some day all of Europe will come back to homeschooling and be supportive of it.
We’ve been homeschooling for 6 yrs. Started off in public school kindergarten. Didn’t like what our oldest was being taught. Switched to private school for 2 years, but even that was full of stuff we didn’t want our kids hearing. So after our oldest was in second grade we pulled him out. My hubby was not on board until then. We love homeschooling! Freedom to travel, tons of time together. I love choosing what and how to teach my kids, and catering it to their own strengths and weaknesses. It’s just been so wonderful for our family. Love being able to teach them our Catholic faith at home too.
We too found private school to not be too much better. It was interesting. I am so happy to hear that you both are on the same page and that you're able to spend so much time together homeschooling. Thanks for sharing all about how you arrived at taking it all back home too. And YES! Teaching them the faith at home has been such a blessing for sure. God Bless and Merry Christmas to you!
You have such a beautiful family, Audrey. I love they way you guy laugh and interact with each other. I can see both you and Kody in your daughter's face. She has his eyes and your lips and nose. I hope to have a family like yours some day. But anyways, I love what was said about homeschooling in this video. It really is what you make of it and it should be as involved a possible. I want to homeschool one day if I have kids. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
I certainly hope that you get the opportunity to homeschool some day. :) Thank you so much for the compliment on our relationship. We like to keep it light and fun.... eh... who am I kidding. He keeps me unwound, which is great. 😅 I hope that you too have a wonderful Christmas my friend. God Bless. It's always a pleasure hearing from you. :)
Love the video. My wife and I have decided to homeschool and are in the planning stages. Major factor was Our Catholic faith and being able to catacise our children properly. God Bless
Totally off topic but you look glowing out in daylight Audrey! I loved the idea for this video by the way. It's always nice to hear how husbands feel about homeschooling. My husband loves the peace of mind he gets while at work knowing our kids' innocence will be preserved as best as possible. That is our biggest why since we live in CA.
What a sweet compliment Grecia. :) I love the feelings your husband has for homeschooling. That is wonderful to hear! I think you had mentioned possibly moving. Am I remembering correctly?
