😁Great video Audrey ♥️ I agree *wholeheartedly* all of your points! One that drives me bonkers ... When people (even many well intentioned 😣Catholics) incorrectly think that 🤯 everyone needs to go up for a 🙅🏻♀️blessing during Communion when they’re not able to receive the Eucharist. ✨Holy Communion✨ is for people who are able to receive. 👉🏼For whatever reason if you’re unable to receive, *please stay in your pew* and offer a spiritual communion. 💥We will *all* receive a blessing at the *conclusion* of Mass.💥 Pax Christi ~ Deena ♥️
Thank you so so much! Ah yes! I remember you mentioning a very long time ago about the blessing, and I think about you so often when it comes to that. I appreciate the fact that you had brought it up.
that's why we go. We'll actually be attending an FSSP parish in the near future too. Our son just received Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament a few weeks ago for the first time. He is so joyful (his words) to be receiving now. I'm so happy for him.
I left my old church when they opened up Communion for everyone in the name of worldly sense of inclusivity. I love how you pointed out Paul saying that we should not approach Communion in an unworthy manner. We should not partake if we are living in unrepentant sin. I also love how you say we should be dressed properly for church. I get fed up with a lot of Protestant churches where people come dressed like they just rolled out of bed. People call me legalistic, but it's not about rules. It's about showing reverence in God's presences. If we dress to show respect to an earthly king, why would we do anything less for the THE King of the Universe? smh. Honestly, I do the Sign of the Cross at times. I think some Protestants don't do it because it's "too Catholic" and they misunderstand it as a pagan ritual or some such nonsense. I don't see anything wrong with it. There are some higher Protestant churches like Lutherans and Anglicans who make the Sign of the Cross. PS, your camera is a bit too high 😉
Oh my goodness. Were your ears burning last night?! haha I recorded a few videos last night before saying the rosary with everyone, and then I checked my e-mail and saw you messaged. I had mentioned you in a video I recorded haha! And then I saw your e-mail and thought whoa! 😅 In any case, thank you for the feedback. I agree that it's not about the rules. We're going to the king. Act like it. I didn't realize that some of the higher Lutheran Churches made the sign of the cross. Thank you for pointing that out to me. Thank you for also pointing out about the camera. I'll adjust that when I record videos tonight. I have been wondering so I appreciate it. I do have to be honest and mention that there will be many more videos with that height as I've recorded a lot of videos already with the same set up. I am trying to get a jump on spring content given our life changing quite a bit. PLUS, I'm on fire right now with content ideas, planning, reading and more, and it's all flowing in an incredible way, and I want to get it out. OK. I'm chatty. In short, thank you for letting me know! I'll adjust it when I record tonight for sure. God Bless my friend.
@@thelivingfaithfulhomeschoo9906 Oh wow, that's crazy. lol. What's the title of the video you mentioned me in, or has that video not been uploaded yet? @@thelivingfaithfulhomeschoo9906 Odd question: Were you named for Saint Audrey? One time Mother Superior at Barking Abbey?
Morning! God bless all of you
The latin Mass has a lot of reverence for the sacred, for example, the Eucharist is kneeling and in the mouth.
