As a convert, confession is one of my favorite sacraments. It’s sooo freeing! It’s the most misunderstood by Protestants and aside from the Eucharist is my favorite!
There’s nothing worse than being all geared up to go to confession and then something happens… That’s happened to me too. I never wanted to confess more in my life then at that moment when I couldn’t. ☺️
One of the most fascinating points in the Bible to me is the creation of Adam and Eve. I always ask myself many questions thinking about that moment, about how the Sacrament of Matrimony was born in the Earthly Paradise and how the two progenitors sinned. Immediately after eating the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve confessed their guilt to God. God punished them, but also forgave them. And if today thanks to the Christ sacrifice -who paid for that sin- we can go to Heaven, we must not forget the repentance of Adam and Eve, without which things would have gone differently. That was the first confession in human history and every time we go to a priest we recall that moment. Thank you so much and God bless you!
Thank you so much for the reminder of Adam and Eve and recalling their sin, confession and repentance when we too go to confession. I hope that you are having a wonderful week. God Bless my friend.
Thank you so much for watching. God Bless all of you. See you tonight for the rosary.
