So many IU fans are stuck in the 70s and 80s... you all bitch about Woodson more than Archie ! And I really believe a lot of you are racists, and thats a card I really don't like to play, but its true. The arrogance and ignorance amongst the fan base is pathetic... try supporting the team,stop expecting Bob Knight , thats the past... support the team, or go somewhere else.

He's a 4th year college basketball coach. If he was 30 years younger he would've gotten a little bit of slack. He doesn't do himself any favors with some of his comments.

If he doesn't AT LEAST get this team to the sweet 16, he should be gone. Last years team was way better than how it finished. He is not recruiting overly well. He is not winning at a high level. He has alienated a good portion of the fan base with his 'true fans' rhetoric. I don't see him being the long term answer for this team. That being said, I'm not sure who the long term answer is. They probably should have bit the bullet and made a change with Dusty May this year. That remains to be seen, but it sure looks like he hit the ground running at Michigan.

If this season is a bust then yes but no way right now.

I would comment that Mike Woodson is on the hot seat as was every coach since Knight. Is it fair...no? I predict this edition of the men's basketball team will perform very well with less than double-digit losses, maybe 4 or 5 with 2 wins over Purdue.😊

In a third of IU fan's eyes they want rid of Woody. I can't see into their brains to know why they don't like him. I loved Woody the player at IU and Atlanta and he had a successful run as an NBA coach. But he found it more difficult to adapt his coaching to the college game than he thought it would be. This season could change all that with a deep run, maybe even a 6th banner., Go IU

There really is not a lot of reason to go elsewhere if you are an indiana kid right now. I'm no huge Mike Woodson fan but he is getting guys to the NBA and IU has lots of money to give these guys and its still a brand name even though we havent won anything in forever. Plus, he'd be close to relatives and friends and Btown is a bangin campus.

18 is pretty good…for having done nothing yet. Woodson isn’t likable. Absolutely, Woodson gets back what he puts out. Also, these players are good but will they be coached to highlight their talents or coached to prove Woodsons way is the right way? Respect is earned. And even as a Hoosier fan…we haven’t earned respect for over a decade.

How many other coaches have we give 5 6 8 years too but didn't really do anything I don't think anything should be said until 5 years

Personally, I don't care about any recruiting when it comes to High School players. Would it be cool if we can sign Sisley, Haralson and Mullins, sure. But there is absolutely no reason for fans to stress about them. Are people expecting these 3 to come in and start next year? Do you think they would be happy coming off the bench wherever they go? Outside of a 24-25 season that is so good that we have to replace all or up to 4 starters, I doubt that we can offer them what they are going to be looking for somewhere, which is a starting role. Then, how good do you expect a team led mostly be a group of freshman to be in today's game that is heavily dominated by older players?

But had to come back to woody bc he actually didn’t get the offer after he told woody he was leaving… The only reason we say we’re in “good” with BM is bc of the relationship Walsh has with him & family. Without that IU & woody have no chance

How can you be 7ft and only average 1 point. Almost seems impossible. A guy who has never played can get 1 pt in a game at 7 ft.

Malik will be the man they go to when they need a point. Guard play should be vastly improved.

I watched a few Myles videos at Washington State. He is a great ballhandler, changes speed and direction like a starting NBA point guard. Rice's shooting will improve and he can take a team deep in the big dance; he won one game in NCAA tourney as a freshman. Gall will bounce back and Kannan will be great too, and Newton has more athleticism than any Hoosier. Mgbako and Reneau will kick butt as will Ballo. Win the Big 18 beat PU

Galloway's groin surgery at the end of his junior year was the reason his shooting went South last year. I think he tried to come back to soon and his shooting game fell apart because of that. If he works methodically to rebuild it this summer he'll be back to 75% free throws and 40% from 3.

I've said all along that Rice was the most important acquisition we got from the Portal.

Haralson can shoot. He takes on a lot of ball handling (running the offense) so his 3pt% will take a hit. Sisley and Haralson have chemistry (Indy gym spiece) and Mullins would be a great fit!

Where is the IU basketball schedule? It is usually out by now.

If you've watched Trent, he can't play the 2. He's a small forward, not athletic enough at the 2 for high end college basketball programs

I don't think we have a bad shooting lineup that includes the starting 5 of Ballo, Reneau, Mgbako, Carlyle and Rice. Having more 3 point shooters like Goode, perhaps Cupps, Newton, Leal or Hatton inserted into the lineup does not necessarily guarentee they are more capable of getting quality looks. I think the balance of the starters overall games and top skills is going to allow for better 3 point looks. Also with the rebounding that they should be capable of the emergence of less tentativeness to shoot and worry about missing will increase the volume of 3 point shooting. The latter generally considered the bigger problem for those efficiency in attempt is everything fans.
