IU in this series has been getting humbled not only on the field in these Michigan games, but also in the stands at home. The only games at Memorial that got respectable attendances were when Buckeye and Wolverine nation rolled into town and took over the west stand. We're gonna see it packed to the top rows with cream and crimson tomorrow with massive energy and support for the home team, and that's the most beautiful thing about this season: the power of the belief of one man who refused to accept playing second fiddle to the B1G big boys and put in the work to back that up has translated the belief into the whole community and Hoosier nation. It's really something.
In other words the two teams playing in the championship game for the big tea championship will indeed be viewed as the two best teams in the big ten. I would assume at least two teams from the big ten to make the payoffs.
any two teams playing in the championship game would be in the playoffs. They can not take one or two other teams beside the two teams that play in the championship for the big ten. That I can tell you.
Unfortunately the only way most people will give them any credit is if they beat OSU. They should handle Michigan and hold serve this week but this game won’t sway people’s opinion on them.
It should not be cause Indiana hasn't done anything yet as team or program this late in season. And since a lot of hooiser fans are coming out now and bragging I am picking Michigan to win by 7
You need to quit the strength of schedule BS. When the schedule came out last fall, we had UCLA, Maryland, Washington (national championship game in 2024), Michigan State, Michigan (defending national champions 2024) as well as OSU. Granted, the first 3 games were against soft opponents, but everyone plays soft schedules early on. When you talk of “strength of schedule” who would have anticipated those teams being down like they are when the schedule came. That’s really not the Hoosiers fault. IU 47-17!
This is a remarkably good point. When this schedule came out I picked us to be 3-9 because I've been a Hoosier fan for a long time. It's easy to forget little things like this because of the way things have changed over the season.
It’s not such a good point. The SOS is what it is. Had the argument been that it’s not as useful of a statistic as other measures, then this could be interesting. To simply be dismissive because “it’s not their fault” is silly and beside the point. No one said it was this IU team’s fault.
@@zplapplap Well, I do agree that the SOS is what it is, so all Indiana can do is compete against whoever the schedule calls for. From that standpoint, they have kicked the crap out of their opponents, including some teams that do have a pulse.
@@thomburleson4884 I agree. With each passing week, I give less of a crap about SOS. I don’t want to hear about SOS for any team playing a full nine-game B1G schedule. It’s especially silly when both teams from last season’s National Championship game are on the back half of the schedule. How ridiculous would it be to hold it against Indiana that neither of those two teams are ranked. When the team at issue is methodically kicking the crap out of every team it plays, then SOS doesn’t capture much of the story of that team’s season.
Can they become top5? they already are top five! now imho, the top five are #1. Georgia, #2. Ohio State, #3. INDIANA, #4. BYU, #5. Tennessee…nuff said!
All teams in the league in football has had a down game.IU has not had one yet, except being down 10-0 to Michigan State to start the game off. even though Indiana turned it around and beat the crap out of them.i think IU’s down game will come tomorrow against Michigan, I have the the score 24-21 , because I don’t think we’re gonna beat Ohio State, the committee doesn’t want Indiana in the playoffs, we all know this. I may not even watch the game tomorrow because it’s going to be tense.!
2 things 1. It’s not necessarily that teams have a down game. It’s that sometimes the worst teams in the league have their best day against the best team. 2. This is not the league.

Just keep winning. Blow out would be awesome, but just keep winning.

IU 20 Michigan 15. Jacob please turn the flag the right way. Love to watch but my goodness it drives me crazy. Thank you 🙏
Turnover free game is what I’m hoping for.
40 to 10
Blowout...nuf ssid 10:16
Every team is thought of way less once IU gets through with them, same for Michigan
I expect a similar score to the MSU game.
Conference championship game contestants will make it in no matter what
IU 42 - Michigan 13
27 to 24 Michigan
IU beats Michigan on Saturday. Final score IU 40 Michigan 17. IU goes to 10 and 0, go Hoosiers!!!

Dude what are you talking about? 11-1 we are definitely in
If we lose to Michigan but demolish Ohio state, do we make it in the conference champ..?
I believe so. We would probably tie Penn State and since we'd have a better record against common opponents, then yes.
such an impossibility doesn’t warrant discussion
We also have point differential advantage
My guess is 35 to 10 IU. Also, think they stun OSU by 10 on the road. Then Purdue will be a bad day for the Boilers
27 to 24 Michigan beats Indiana then Indiana goes on the road and lose to Ohio
@ you’re funny :) UM just gets by MSU at home and we just destroyed MSU. IU wins and you lose….:(
Of course, since this is one of the "SUCK" games, doubt Cignetti calls off the dogs lol. 56-10 IU
27 to 24 Michigan
Indiana 42 Michigan 6
Michigan guarterback Warren will meet Kamara and one of the best defenses. IU 52 MICHIGAN 17

I would like to see Indiana beat Michigan by more than they beat us last year, which was a lot
Rightly they’re top 5 now. It’s the injustice that Oregon is in their spot and Oregon is where the luckeyes are

Michigan does not have an offense. Defense will be tired from being on the field all day. IU scores at least 34 tomorrow.
