The parts list is an xml file that you can open in something like Notepad (windows pc) and use to create a Wanted list in BrickLink to order the parts. I also provided a version of the parts (a .io file) that you can open in Studio. You can download Studio here: www.bricklink.com/v3/studio/download.page

Yes I've read some sad stories, on some of the Lego Facebook groups that I'm part of, of people being scammed with eBay Lego set purchases. Not good.

You have to be more clear on what you mean. Do you mean the underside of the model with the thrusters, or the top rear section of the model. May be have a look at the inventory of parts for this model (unmodified) on Brickset may help you: brickset.com/sets/75060-1/Slave-I

Hi there you can't just 'buy' this build from a location. You can buy my instructions from Rebrickable (link in the video description) and then buy the parts you need to build this from BrickLink. The inventory of parts you need is listed on the Rebrickable page. BTW if you are not familiar with building custom models this may not be a good first choice of project as it is a very large and complex build. You could try a smaller project first and come back to this one. It's not the build complexity that is the challenge it is sourcing all the parts that will be challenging for some one new to it. @@JanDenizBeyret to build it? That depends on you, I'd say about 20 hours or so, it's a complex build.

@@goldenplectrum9695 - do you mean motorising it? If so definitely not. If you mean the LED lighting kit, it depends on how you display your models. If you display them in a case then I'd say not worth it as you'll likely never turn the lights on. If you regularly touch and or move or admire your models then lighting them up can be worth it. 🙂

If you are new to building custom Lego models I would recommend you try a smaller and less complex model before taking on something like this. Hi there, no the knee upgrade does not affect the transformation ability of the model at all. To do the knee mod you will need to take the legs apart and use the original parts from the legs + yes additional parts you need to order from BrickLink. The Rebrickable page for the knee mod that I linked to lists the additional parts you will need. All the best!

I wouldn't say this mod 'damages' the springs, it does compress and keep them compressed though. So if you plan on taking apart the model and re-using the springs for some other build in the future then perhaps this isn't the mod for you. I'm not aware of other lowering mods, but perhaps having a look over at Eurobricks may help - there could be other mods people have posted for this model. All the best!

It is surprising how many people have responded to say they are in this phase too! I think it is the sheer volume and high cost of sets that Lego release that make us feel this way. It's too much to keep up with.

This model is a shocker for stickers. So if you are anal with regard to sticker placement and you want to build this model, I recommend you pick up a second sticker set from BrickLink for this RSR. That way you have a spare incase you botch any. It's what I did!

@@CraftedBricks Thanks Simon my head is certainly full of ideas and I just love modifying sets to make them all fit-in as a collection better. I don't know if you own 75371 Chewbacca but after seeing 75398 C-3PO I recently modified Chewbacca's stand so that it represented the forest moon of Endor. It's the little things that make a collection look more cohesive that make me appreciate it more.

@@patrickh6813 - Hi Patrick, you know what, initially I didn't like the 'strappy' look of the new TI body either. But after doing this mod and seeing the model in person I can 100% assure you the new design is much much better. In comparison the old one has a 'weakling' look to it and a very angular and blocky look. It's something best seen in person. That said everyone has different views so I completely understand and respect your preference for the old TF body design! 🙂

Atleast Lego keep there products on the shelf a few year so u can save up. Unlike other brands that rotates 4 times a year *cough! Card collecting,cough!!* 😂

That is excellent to hear, I think you will love the addition of the trailer - it's also a fun build! To answer your question: there's a small axle (or pin. I can't recall as it's been a while!) on the underside of the trailer that slots into a hole on Optimus' gun. The gun being seated between the two legs when Optimus is transformed into truck mode. So yes the Trailer does connect to Optimus and can be pulled along. : )

You will have to contact the seller of these stickers. I provided a link to his BrickLink store in the video description and a link to a forum post on Eurobricks with further information. As this model (and video) is several years old now, the guy printing the stickers may not be making them anymore. You'll have to ask him. All the best!
