  • In this video I build a phalanx of Pegasus Knights using the Yellow Castle Knight from series 23 of the Lego Collectible Minifigures. And the Pegasus figure from the Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire Beauxbatons’ Carriage: Arrival at Hogwarts set #75958

    NOOOOOOOOOOOO. ok I'm over the dremel. they looks sweet! very Warhammer! they need an epic all white and Gold Castle with a large landing pad at the top :D

      Hahaha! The result was worth the 'sacrilege' : ) ...I actually originally was thinking of making a small diorama for these with a sort of landing pad or stables type scene. But I needed to balance time needed, cost and the need to make another video. Thanks for commenting.

    Wow, they look amazing! I must admit I had no idea the Pegasus was selling for $30-35 on Bricklink. It's great to see a new upload from you Simon, how are things both with LEGO and the year as a whole? I bought Rivendell and the Indiana Jones temple set recently but besides that I moved out earlier in the year so I have been downsizing quite a bit. I'm still periodically moving sets and waging a war on space 🤣🤣

      Hi Lachlan! With your move it sounds like you have a lot on. I always find a downsize or a move can be good opportunity to 'cleanse' - and get back to the sets and things that you really love and need. Changes my end too. I started a new job in June and its meant I will have less free time going forward to spend on Lego/TH-cam/Photography/Design. It's not like I will have no time, it just means I have to use the time I have wisely. So I've been re-thinking my approach to Lego & TH-cam and I'll do a short video to share my thoughts soon. Have a great weekend and week ahead!

      Thank you, it came together well, and while classical music may not be for everyone, the backing music suited the models in this case.

      Yes and if you make vids that you enjoy making the end result will be 100x better as your vid here. Keep up the good work. Btw i use to use my wifes account eboka. Ive made this one for when i start building my 400+ diffent bnib friends sets and my city and others to make a huge city when i have room soon

      Ah sounds good! You'll have to tell me your name so I can respond properly when you comment. I'm also open to having a chat if you'd like re my thoughts on TH-cam, starting a channel, etc. But up to you!

    Great idea and who would of thought buying a complete retired Lego set is cheaper than buying a handful of parts within it. Did I spot a bit of Lego blasphemy there and why not if it achieves the perfect end result 😂👍😀

      Thanks Simon - yes the dremel/filing and glueing of those clips I'm sure raised some eyebrows! But in my book if that what it takes to craft the result I was hoping for then it's very much worth it! Have a superb week!

    they are looking like warhammer figures but from Lego

      Good analogy and I think you are right, esp. with them all mounted-up on the bases. Thanks for commenting and I'm glad you liked the video!

      I saw in a tournament video report that someone used Lego minifigures as Bretonnians, the concensus was that this was probably even more expensive than using GW miniatures.

    If you want to modify your saddle for Pegasus Knights whay don't you just 3d print it and paint it?

    • @CraftedBricks
      @CraftedBricks  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ...because that would be a significantly harder approach! I'd have to 3D model it which would take a lot of time, then find someone to print it, then find a paint match to the Sand Blue and the result would not be anywhere near as good as a properly injection molded Lego part. Sanding off the saddle clips from these Lego saddles was easy and fast to do, and the result looks great I'm really happy with these!
