Evening mate! Your Master Series reviews have convinced this Lego purist that 3rd parties like Cada do have something awesome to offer, but the idea of drilling and glueing brings me out in a cold sweat 😂 The end result looks incredible though and it looks like the work you put into it was definitely worth it. All the best! Mike
Aww thanks Mike, this was a challenging one that's for sure one, but resulted in good video and cool display piece so perhaps worth it in the end. The LED lit elements and an actual standing model would not have been possible without drilling and glue! But I get you it is not for everyone : ) Have a great weekend ahead!
It worked out a-ok, in hindsight I would have gone bigger. But now that the model is done and on display at home, I'm happy to leave it and focus on new projects!
6:09 Hello Simon, been awhile. I noticed the back thighs are the same and not counter builds. Btw this moc seems it's become a quest for you...a well done quest sir. Another great video!
'Quest' is quite apt, this build & video have been a challenge that's for sure. ...and an exemplar of why I usually steer clear of buying instructions for custom MOCs where the designer has not published real photos of their model online. I sort of knew I may run into issues, but this one had it all: use of rare parts, stability issues, instruction errors... But the end result looks great, so perhaps worth it? Re the rear of the legs I'm ok with the symetry, but I see what you mean. Have a superb weekend!
